I regulated my breath to ease my crowded chest. Pulling apart after some moments, I slowly lifted my trembling hand to Marvel's face and searched his gaze right away.

"I believe in you… I always do. Even when you find it hard to do, I will still choose to believe in you."

With my words and my hand on his cheek, I turned his head to face me so he could see that there was no judgment in my eyes, only love.

"Isn't that why you always end up getting hurt, because you trust me? You know it more than anyone else, so why…" From his reaction, I could see the amount of doubt he had in himself, and my attempt to convince him simply didn't work.

He wore an expression as if he was expecting hatred from me - something that just didn't exist. All I have for you is love - I bet he couldn't accept it just yet. He felt so much guilt that it destroyed everything in him.
