CH5 I Hope Your Okay With Jail Time Dad

'Great,' Alodar groaned inward. 'This is exactly what I wanted! Another way to die!'
Alodar dodger the bandits charging him and looked aside to see how Alexis was handling. Before he could get a clear picture a sharp 'whoosh' startled Alodar awake. He stepped back and heard the angry shout of a bandit wielding a saber.
"Stup payin attension to de princez, an pay mer attension to yeself!" The bandit slash again, leaving a wound on Alodar's left arm. He groaned in pain and steadied himself.
Alodar's face expressed deep reluctance, but he seemed to resolve himself. 'This is not gonna be good. I don't know if I'll be conscious after this, but I really need to survive this. Anyway I can probably live even after three of them.' Alodar then shouted.
"[Slow]!!"
A clear speed decrease occurred and Alodar used that time to cast another spell.
"[Ignite]!!"
The bandit suddenly took on a more orange hue as he quickly burst into flames. The body danced in misery as the bandit became a charred corpse.

Alodar felt exhausted so he checked his stats.

Before Alodar could catch his breath, two bandits were upon him. One dashed to his right and raised his sword. The other stayed back and was ready to counter attack.
Alodar knew he was not prepared to face two bandits simultaneously, so he blitzed toward the one who stayed back hoping to catch him off guard.
His hope turned to reality as the bandit flinched, giving Alodar enough time to punch him.
The bandit assumed the kid couldn't harm him much so he slightly lowered his guard. The bandits guess was wrong as Alodar's strength knocked him unconscious.

Alodar salvaged the saber on the stiff ground. He decapitated the bandit who he had previously knock unconscious.

Alodar somehow felt no remorse for the two lives he had stolen, and for some reason he felt ok. Then with his blank stare he glanced at the last bandit. The bandit shuddered and took off running into the forest. Trees enveloped him, making Alodar lose sight of him.
He looked around and noticed no one was around. No more bandits. No princess!
"Damnit!" Alodar screamed. His eyes bloodshot, he hit a tree and he felt the bitter pain.

Soon enough Alodar heard marching. His dads men were here.
"Al, what happened here? We saw smoke and came as fast as we could," A guard asked. His name was Conklin and he served as a captain in the city. He was quite well known due to his shaggy dirty blonde hair and emerald green eyes.
"Ambush..." Alodar lost spirit at his own voice's statement. "The Princess has been kidnapped. They took her, and I couldn't stop them," Alodar started tearing up, like a gentle stream tears flowed down.
"It's okay Al. You did what you could, and that's all that matters." Conklin hugged Alodar, and Conklin had a difficult expression on his face.
Alodar knew what he had to do, so when Conklin headed off with his squad to scout for the bandits hideout, he checked his stats to add some of his TP to his stats and skills.

After some thought, Alodar decided on putting 3 in fire magic, 3 in saber arts, one in time magic, and the rest in mana. Now it read:

He knew it was suicide to waltz right into enemy territory, but if he didn't get the princess back, he could say goodbye to his old man.
'This is the only way,' he thought. His mind clouded with possibilities, they wizzed around not stopping long enough to know the full details. But any possibility he looked at, ended with him dead or at death's door.
It was time to go. If he didn't leave now he wouldn't be able to follow Conklin and his squad.
Alodar raced out of his temporary room his father prepared for him. Passing the guards effortlessly he got a notification.

Running through the town was easy, but finding Conklin was hard. When Alodar found him, he was already leaving.
'I guess that's fine by me.' Alodar leaped for joy as they left, not taking notice of him.

'If I don't make it home and the princess is still held, I hope your okay with a little jail time dad,' Alodar laughingly thought.
