CH11 Lyner, Bandit of The Dark Fang

Inside their sat a man on a dark leather chair. A desk sat in front of him, full of paperwork.

He looked up and Alodar met his gaze. Lyner looked amused. "You've got a good spirit little boy! Why don't you join my bandit group; the Bandits of The Fang!"

Alodar stood there; stunned. He didn't know what to say. If he said no he might die then and their, but if he said yes he might get into something he can't get out of.

"I-," Alodar started But was cut off by a loud laughter.

"Hahaha! Just joking with you! I would never, in a million years, recruit a kid!"

Lyner slapped the desk and it produced a crack in the wood.

He looked disappointingly at it and yelled at the assistant near him to order a new table from a man named 'Ashton Zorander'.

"Who's this Ashton Zorander," Alodar asked expectantly.

"A mad genius who supplies me with all my materials. He also... I've said too much already. I say anymore and I'm a dead man, right Farlo?" Lyner eyes glazed over the second bandit.

"I heard you proposed that the boy be brought here? And you Hemvi? You allowed Farlo to bring him. Why don't both y'all hang y'all selves!" Lyner's crazy grin plagued his face while starring Farlo and Hemvi down.

The man at the entrance; Unklair seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Sir, can I oversee these two's deaths?" Unklair had the same exact insane smile Lyner showcased. They looked like cursed puppets silently watching their next prey; ready to snatch their soul right out of them.

"Since I like you Unklair, I allow you to oversee their execution. Make me proud!" Lyner's smile seemed all the more sinister.

He turned to Alodar. "Now, what to do with the little dead man? Should I drown him? Or make him sit on spikes? Oh! I can throw him in a pit of lions to see if he dies!" Lyner lifted his head in pleasure as he imagined all the possibilities. He then became somewhat serious and looked back to Alodar. "If you do survive little dead man, I'll give you the name David. How's that sound?"

Alodar's first thought was 'he has lions?!' Neowalt must have been concerned because he asked Alodar a serious question.

[Does Host want to run a mental stability test?]

Alodar seemed offended by that when he told the system off saying 'I'm mentally stable' and 'does he really have a lion?'

Anyway... Alodar backed away, in a effort to act defenseless. Lyner bought it and told Unklair to get another man to get rid of him.

It turns out that this man' was actually a woman, a beautiful woman in fact.

The men seemed not to be able to keep their elected off her.

Her long, black, silky hair was tied up behind her in a pony tail behind her slim shoulders. It perked up slightly at its tip. The sides were like a cobra that cocooned her ears. Her eyes were a deep blue with hints of violet smeared around its edges.

Her figure was as slim as an hourglass seductively entrancing ant male she passed.

The only thing 'less attractive' was her indifferent expression, though it gave her a more 'unapproachable' feel.

She seemed like a goddess who descended on the planet just to observe coldly.

Alodar couldn't suppress his curiosity's so he appraised the beautiful woman.

Alodar couldn't believe what he was seeing. 'Neowalt, care to explain?'

[The appraised is too strong to accurately be judged by myself. Every skill she has is over five points what Host has and every law is three stages above the host. The appraised is also half immortal. She can only be killed by a common metal called 'vampire's silver']

'I'm toast!' Alodar knew then that he couldn't win against this beauty; there would be competition.

"I believe it's rude to appraise someone without their consent; is it not?" Lilac showed a slight smile that lit up the room, although their was only him and her.

Alodar was speechless, but because of a different reason.

'She knew I was appraising her?'

[When Host gets strong enough, he'll be able to sense when someone weaker appraises host]

"Yes, I know," replied Lilac like she could read Alodar's mind.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm here on orders of my brother, Orion Vituslo. My name is Lilac Vituslo by the way," she waves gracefully in Alodar's direction nonchalantly.

"Anyway, I'm here to help you destroy this base. I'm not allowed to destroy it on my own, something about 'Alodar needing the talent' or whatever. So all I'm gonna do is let you go." She just stepped back; out of Alodar's way.

"Also, I was told to tell you something; 'You have a lot of talent, don't let it slip to a minor mistake such as trust.' My brother said that, I say heed his words. Their usually useful."

Lilac finally finished and disappeared down the hall.

Alodar wasted no time and rushed back towards the office of Lyner.

While trying to navigate his way back, Alodar came across a few bandits.

Dodging around them was not easy, but after a long fifteen minutes Alodar finally made it up to Lyner's office.

A bandit appeared right behind Alodar. The bandit then realized Alodar's presence. Before he could react, Alodar already had his arm around his neck.

The bandit slowly fainted. Leaving a body that Alodar had to slowly let down.

When Alodar had set it down silently he check to see what was happening in Lyner's office.

It started out as muffled sounds so Alodar crept closer until he was almost pushing the door open.

He heard voices; one was Unklair and the other was Lyner. Unkair was reporting to Lyner.

"Sir I believe we have intruders. What should we do about them?"

"Kill them all," Came Lyner's reply. He seemed to think a bit and he added, "But keep one alive. I would like to find out why they're here."

"Affirmative boss!"
