Chapter 59 – Pact

In their exchange, Luna and Carl made a pact. The pact allowed Carl to drive the steering wheel back in exchange for Luna not ever attempting to take control like she did.

Carl was about to walk out of the cave when Luna instructed him to kill a small spider in the corner.

It was a venomous type of basic monster that usually lives in small spaces such as caves, and deep dark forests inhabiting trees. It wasn't very dangerous, but once handled incorrectly, it could send even a cultivator in great danger.

With a puzzled face, Carl thought if this was one of Luna's tricks again, but dismissed it when he remembered the pact.

The pact was strict. If she violated it and vice-versa, their Centers of Power will be paralyzed.

Thinking about Luna even wanted to sign on such a ridiculous pact, things must have gone pretty serious for her.
