44 The War of Breakthroughs, Point 192-200. Part 1
"So, you thought just because you upgraded a Dao you could kill me! The mighty banana man!"
He liked to call himself the mighty banana. He held Lie Wei Ying's head. The boy's entire body seemed deathly still as his Dao's fused and popped on his skin. It was the first time the boy really had trouble, and it completely sucked because it was from a man obsessed with bananas.
"Boom!"
Lie Wei Ying flew over to a man flicking off shackles. They coiled off the walls as the knights approached at their fastest speed. However, the man was so excited from the prospect of this little boy that he ripped the shackles of the walls.
The knights were extremely surprised. It should take them just a second to reach where the boy was. However, along the way the final 8 monsters all did the same. It seemed like they had been planning an escape for a while, and all they needed was the Alpha soldier unit to have a reason to leave the safe room. The room with the treasure. It was the entire reason Lie Wei Ying was here. The mighty sovereign gauntlets were in there!
Suddenly there was a huge cracking sound as the walls in front of Lie Wei Ying all got destroyed leaving an eye to the final door. Eight men surrounded the five knights. They were all at the immortal level and couldn't believe what they were seeing. Were these men insane! Only the strongest, point 200's holder, was able to be even considered an immortal. The rest were all quasi immortals! However, it would soon make sense.
"So, you think you can stop greatness?"
The man from point 200 seemed to divide into three as countless Dao's showed up on his body. He knew if he just reached a higher realm in the Dao's he'd be able to escape. Lie Wei Ying saw all of this and more. He even heard the man's name as he wiggled his little feet. Unfortunately, his inferno daggers were useless as he swung down and lashed out at the man's skin.
A fight began in the background as five knights fought the eight final crooks. The only undecided piece was the man that looked like a giant Buddha except for his black and white striped skin. If anything, perhaps you'd consider him like a zebra buddha or something.
Lie Wei Ying grunted angrily as dust seemed to spread through the space. The man was gripping his neck so hard that his god's constitution seemed to be having trouble holding his body together. It was so unfair to be him right now. If only he was a little stronger, then this would be a nonissue! Yes, he just had to unlock a new Dao or something. However, the banana laughed at him.
"Do you want to know the difference between you and me boy?" The banana man squeezed a little harder.
The zebra buddha guy flicked his arm as the last shackle broke off his body. He sighed and sat down. He felt something interesting in the boy, and decided to wait for it to bloom.
"Hey, Buddha of Red Demise what are you doing over there? Get over here and help us!"
The leader of point two hundred found himself fighting two immortals as the seven remaining quasi immortals all activated their tribulations at the same time.
It literally caused the sky to be confused about what to do. Usually, up above this room, it would turn black for a tribulation. However, since eight had requested its might it turned a white. The kind of white sky that only could lead to a furious storm. It blossomed above and branched out into eight pedals. Each of them contained a tribulation of immense power.
Weak men received simple tribulations.
Strong men received the fury of the gods.
Moreover, these men were horrible people. They would not be spared an ounce of pity from the tribulation committee. However, the committee was more interested in what they saw on the periphery and kind of forgot to check the past history of this men.
Divine smiled, "HAHAHAHA, look that little demon from Mother is getting the life chocked out of him."
They all laughed and completely granted mercy to the thieves. This was bad for both the knights and Lie Wei Ying. The only one who could change anything about it was the Buddha of Red Demise. However, he just sat down like a stubborn young child not wanting to give up watching his program.
"You guy's take care of those five. I'll try and stop this kid."
They all scratched their heads. "Uhm, we'll die without you Buddha. What about the plan we made for a thousand years together by scratching at the walls!"
The knights looked at each other funny as they slapped away one of the men from the lower points. They should have made the rooms sound proof!
"You see, the boy here is something like a treasure I've been waiting for my entire existance. Also, if I wanted to I could wipe out everyone in this room. So, how about you just try and succeed with your little plan before I get upset."
The knights even looked at him funny. "You're nothing but a Quasi Immortal Buddha. What right do you have to look down on us with such weak power!"
"Shhh, you're ruining the boy's journey," The Buddha of Red Demise said, "I'll kill you if you talk while there battling."
For some reason, the men all believed him. The red Buddha started glowing with starlight as the sun seemed to smile on him.
The knights couldn't believe it. They captured a Cosmic Quasi Immortal. At the next moment, they all shut up. Indeed, it was better to fight quietly.
The eight color thunder swam down and struck the room tearing off the ceiling on which they were held for so many years.
In the other rooms, the men heard it and scratched their heads. How powerful was that little demon boy?
The only one that scoffed was the twenty-two-winged angel. If the boy didn't surprise her, this wouldn't be happening.
Lie Wei Ying felt his last air leaving his lips as he one again felt that feeling of space. The Dao on his skin seemed to turn from a moonlight gray to more of a pinkish pearly black. He seemed to shine with a radiance of both space and death. Suddenly, he even looked a few inches taller. He smiled with somewhat of pity at the man squishing his neck. However, even with that breakthrough after the other breakthrough he still felt weaker then this man.
"What's the difference between me and you, banana," Lie Wei Ying whispered. He couldn't talk normally because of the hand on his throat.
"Uhm, I've been alive for roughly 15,000 years. Any breakthrough you have in the Dao is meaningless against someone with so much time on his hands. I've mastered more Dao's shackled in these chains then you can count on twenty people's hands! You don't understand how annoying it was to get stuck at the Quasi Immortal level for so long when you had the path to heaven right in front of you."
Lie Wei Ying coughed, "Right, you've been here a while, but I'll still kill you."
The banana got enraged and tossed the boy towards the wall. He crashed and blasted outside into the woods before he spiraled into a river. His nearly metallic body splashed in the water as a geyser shot up into the air. The trees blew away and flew towards the banana who drifted outside of his cell. All he cared about was this boy who ate a banana right now. In fact, he'd probably have to kill everyone if he escaped.
The knights realized this, but they couldn't evade the mighty men. Moreover, they were nearing the end of their tribulations. Soon, it be five immortals versus eight immortals. They gulped as the next lightning bolt shot out like a weak dragon barely howling a sound of complaint. Indeed, everyone was focused on the boy's battle.
Lie Wei Ying stood up in the water as some blood dripped down his cheeks.
"System, there has to be something I can do to get more powerful quickly! Please teach me!"
The system sighed. "Your only way would be to purchase an item, but right now you only have eighty OP points. You can't even use the boy to man pill because the price has been upgraded to 300 OP points by the universe."
Lie Wei Ying's lips quivered as the bullet like man shot towards him. "Uhm, well can I at least buy something delicious so I die with some flavor in my mouth."
The system laughed, "You really think a banana can kill you?" The systems new faith in his master was showing. It was sort of like an attachment thing, however, it was mostly belief.
"Ha, thank you, system. I'll make sure to give it like 5000%."
"Boom!"
Where Lie Wei Ying once was all that remained was a shadow. He used his one precious divine ability of lightning to dance himself along the stream. The entire lake seemed to suffuse with lightning as a web of blue light sprinkled along the drops in the air.
The mad banana arrived in front of him and smiled.
"You know, you're almost too talented to kill, but I think I have no choice."
He spun his saber and shook nervously. It was the first time in a long time he got revenge for his precious bananas.
The Buddha of Red Demise looked patiently out as the boy stood on the water like a cornered spider versing the finger of a human on a table. Indeed, usually such a situation was a sure loss. However, he figured he'd give him a few more minutes so he can enjoy watching him grow.
Lie Wei Ying sighed and buckled up his boots. He tried to attribute his failure to his unstrapped kiddy boots, however; his mind couldn't wrap his head around this. Please just give me power! Mom, Yu Yan, Dad, everyone I love. Something inside of me must be able to break through and give me more power. Please It's just a stupid banana man!
Lie Wei Ying soared forward and brandished his blades like a furious entity of madness. He felt something crazy inside of him. It was the strongest desire to live he had ever experienced. Indeed, it seemed like something took over his body.
The system nodded his head and the committee also nodded their head.
Even the strongest desires to live can be squished by time and training.
Lie Wei Ying's blade meet the saber of the banana man. He laughed as his right foot swung up a hundred times in half a second. Lie Wei Ying coiled up and grabbed onto his stomach.
"Perhaps you should master the Dao of the sword before you try and fight me. You look like your flailing around a twig." The banana man frowned and grabbed Lie Wei Ying by his feet.
The next second he was sent flying forward. He crashed into a mountain full of nothing but dead bones. It was a cemetery mountain.
Indeed, the last part of this battle would be in a cemetery. Countless dead bodies flew up in the air as the banana man laughed. He approached Lie Wei Ying as he shook in a hole in the floor.
At the same time, the knights and the evil villains kept fighting.
