143 String of Fate.

The Immoral Sect seemed familiar to Lie Wei Ying when he arrived with the Grim Reaper. The sky was dark and black, which made it hard to truly grasp the gigantic monolith. It was placed in the entranceway above the battle field going on.

However, contrary to what he expected, there was someone who looked like him with an image over his head.

He seemed to be staring at a man with blue hair. They were fighting over the immoral sect building labeled in red letters..

Lie Wei Ying didn't understand what was happening. Why was Yu Yan here? Be that as it may, the grim reaper tugged Lie Wei Ying by the hand and he saw her. She was in a room lying on the floor.

A string was dangling outside her body, and it was glowing. It seemed if that line was cut she would die.

Currently, as she laid on the floor, she could only smile as her love walked into the sects dinning room.

"…I… I don't know what happened, I… I just wanted to see you.... and here you are..." Yu Yan grinned wider as her eyes fluttered confusingly

Lie Wei Ying immediately dropped down to his knees and toucher her cheek.

"…You… you just got to hang on…" Lie Wei Ying said and leaned in. He pressed his lips against hers, and she shut her eyes feeling them grow cold.

The grim reaper could only sigh and interrupt,

"Master... I know what's wrong with her. I was told by your future self--"

"You mean that's me out there?"

Lie Wei Ying let go of Yu Yan as she shut her eyes. She used the last of her strength to kiss him.

Regardless, the next moment Lie Wei Ying left her there with the grim reaper.

"You… you're just a shadow of the future… I'm surprised you're hanging on this long," Fate said as he brandished his blades.

In the second realm, he could use a divine clone with 3% of his maximum power.

"Heh… I killed you in the future… Even with .5 percent of my actual power, I'll still kick you to death's door."

It was because of Fate that he lost Yu Yan, and it was all because of this string. If he cut it, she would die.

As the current Lie Wei Ying, he didn't want the same thing to happen in this time.

The younger version of Lie Wei Ying arrived with his 'defiance' activated.

"…What did you do… Fate… Tell me now and I won't kill you and destroy you…"

Lie Wei Ying's body was heating up and his 'defiance' was causing the air in the second realm to melt. It was as if a sun was around him, and at the same time he created clouds with defiance.

Be that as it may, these two had never met before, and Fate could see the golden string beaming out of Lie Wei Ying's body. Without saying anything, he immediately tugged on Yu Yan's string as tight as he could hoping to end Lie Wei Ying's joy.

"Boom!"

What look like a ghost appeared at Fate's side surprising the heck out of him. In that ghost's hands were a hundred condensed planets. Fate instantly felt that ghost send the attack at his ribs. He arrived head first in the ground.

The dirt went flying up into the air before Lie Wei Ying turned to his future self.

"…What do we have to do to make sure Yu Yan survives…"

"Uhm… If you can hold him off for ten minutes… she'll be fine."

Lie Wei Ying nodded his head and arrived on the ground where Fate was staring aghast.

The Grim Reaper walked back and forth nervously as Future Lie Wei Ying appeared.

When he arrived, he held his hands against Yu Yan's face and smiled over at the Grim Reaper.

"Grim, I don't know you, but please go outside and help Lei Wei Ying."

"Of course, I will do everything in my power to assist Lie Wei Ying… but since you're technically my Master… please save her for my other master."

The Future Lie Wei Ying nodded and began feeding her his essence. Hopefully, he had enough to change Fate.

Lie Wei Ying looked down at the hole in which Fate was pretending to be hurt.

It was infuriating for him to see Fate play games with him.

"Heh… so… did Charisma help you or something… What's with that weird energy around your body?"

Fate arrived in front of Lie Wei Ying and immediately lashed out with those words.

"Uhm, you know you ask a lot of questions for someone who's trying to kill my Fiancé—"

"I didn't say you could have a Fiance," Fate said with a low voice that screamed with anger!

"In fact, you're never supposed to be this old! You and that damn future you are nothing but mistakes in my universe! How about you hurry up and watch your girl friend die! She was already supposed to be dead... just like you!"

Lie Wei Ying was roughly ten times slower then fate, and felt a fist he couldn't see slam into his cheek.

Like a missile he crashed into a wall before Fate arrived with a smile on his cheeks. Lie Wie Ying soon found his feet dangling in the air. Fate had picked him up by the neck, and the diamond lit on Lie Wei Ying's skin defensively.

When someone had this diamond glow it was usually from diamond-ice, and it was an incredible boost to both the soul and body.

Fate had specifically tried to hoard all of these mountains to keep anyone from getting its benefits. However, now he knew that Charisma had found some.

It was unfortunate that their history had to clash, and that Charisma happened to reach the Monogod stage thereby protecting him. Even he, the mighty Fate, could only kill those beneath his power.

"Ah… so, you're not dead yet," Fate said tossing Lie Wei Ying up into the sky, a cold breeze met Fate's hand and then five shadows appeared around him glowing in red. Those shadows lashed out and quickly attacked Fate in a salvo of attacks.

"Eehhh, I still have quite a few people to live for," He said this and then had his 'defiance' clones sent a fury of attacks. His blood shot eyes betrayed his emotions, and he could only feel bullets beating into his skin.

Fate, to his dismay, shot off like a bullet into a building across the star field. Lie Wei Ying set a way point and instantly disappeared.

Yu Yan had her head up trying to breathe in air.

What seemed like a shadow was holding her head up, but even as the string started to turn more and more gold, the shadow looked panicked.

"…I… I need some kind of fuel Grim… Do you happen to have a million points?" Future Lie Wei Ying laughed as his body got lighter and less opaque.

"I only have 20,000… I'm not as much of a killing machine as you and master…"

Lie Wei Ying nodded his head and then bent down and touched Yu Yan's face.

Future Lie Wei Ying, nearly invisible at this point, pointed towards the doorway. "Well… go see how Lie Wei Ying's doing, and when you get there put this against his body."

"Yes, master!"

"Boom!"

Lie Wei Ying expected for Fate's clone to be a tough opponent, however, compared to Charisma he was in an entire other class.

He could only try and dodge and come up with sneak attacks using defiance. But Fate was getting more accustomed to his unnatural moves as he was skilled in prediction. Lie Wei Ying could only keep trying to keep making new moves.

Unfortunately, once again, he was flying into the air. The Grim Reaper, as he landed, arrived next to him.

"…Master… can you hold this for one second?"

Lie Wei Ying nodded his head and then Fate appeared with dust on his fist. With a sword of light he stabbed at the Grim Reapers throat.

At this time, the Grim Reaper could only roughly move his head to dodge. Lie Wei Ying, to protect him, arrived in front of him gawking at his so called 'wise' servant. The both skidded against the sheets of ice beneath them as Fate laughed. In a lot less then a second, he picked up the grim reaper by the neck.

The Grim Reaper could only laugh and toss the rock with the device in it. It landed by Lie Wei Ying as he began to accept his death.

"Heh… you think I'm going to let you interfere… Do you realize how much I HATE THIS KID!!!"

Obviously, future Lie Wei Ying had no choice but to appear. He figured this would happen and used this chance to send the inferno into Fate's back. As Fate landed with the sword in his chest and his vest against the rocks below, Future Lie Wei Ying pointed towards Lie Wei Ying. He was currently gushing with blood after attempting to protect the Grim Reaper.

"…Lie Wei Ying… I'm sorry, but pick up that device… Wait… your neck?"

Future Lie Wei Ying noticed the device broke as soon as it arrived by Lie Wei Ying. He seemingly disappeared and smiled before he whispered two words into Lie Wei Ying's ears.

"You just saved her."

He placed that necklace around his neck and immediately that illusive future shadow started to turn more visibly solid.

Future Lei Wei Ying arrived in front of Fate with a gigantic sword in his hand and a sharp expression in his eyes.

"Sorry, but I win!"
