156 Scouting

When the chip was fully inserted, on the teams map the location seemed to turn red.

Obviously, what this meant was that they had captured a bunker, and the boss camp was their bunker now.

Alpha Lord could hardly believe this and was yelling with excitement. He immediately ran over with Selfish Moons, Queenie, and Haruki.

It had been a long time since they captured a boss bunker. The excitement could be seen on the shy Haruki's face. He, for the first time in months, was smiling and not hiding.

Usually, when in the midst of battle, Haruki, since he was an assassin, would activate stealth. However, the class purpose was to sneak around! Sometimes when they were on the brink, he'd stay hidden. It was horrible to remember for Alpha Lord, but now Haruki seemed to be glowing.

"…I….I have a chance to save my family," Haruki exclaimed bumbling with joy. His saber on his back betrayed his level of courage which was near nil, and Selfish Moons pat him on the back.

"Heh… you know… if you actually helped us Haruki, we might have gotten you to level up. It's a shame your such a bad player."

Selfish Moons way of consoling someone usually resulted in such rampant lines. She meant to say you're really not that bad of a guy, but despite that Haruki remained somewhat upbeat.

"Guys, lets just go ensure that our Dragon spawns in one piece," Alpha Lord broke the silence.

The way these bunker captures worked was all dependent on the chip. If the bunker was to be their base truly, Lie Wei Ying would need five seconds. It was noticeable to the team though that no one was attacking the base. In fact, their radar showed no movements.

In all the games they played, they had never seen this kind of thing. It was common practice for both teams to attack during the transition phase. Be that as it may, Lie Wei Ying left a mark on Captain Chrome, and when he respawned he didn't send any orders.

In fact, it was the same for both teams.

Scouts were very common, and most teams had either a scout or assassin. Haruki should've scouted the map but most of it remained dark and unlit.

Regardless, a scout from team phoenix witnessed this monster 'LWY' and called for a meeting with the human emperor's team.

It was usually a bad thing when these calls happened as many teams had a ton of pride. However, today was a different story, and both teams wanted an alliance. Obviously, when a hacker was involved, they had no choice.

Selfish Moons ran into the base as the team's Hydra was rebirthed.

The three other teammates ran behind her. She could only look at Lie Wei Ying with approval as the countless bodies disappeared.

Lie Wei Ying and his team sat down as a few NPCs came over to serve coffee.

In this boss bunker, there was many amenities from the civilians in the base. Now wearing a red skirt instead of a green one, a female NPC winked at Lie Wei Ying. She Placied the coffee down as she walked away smiling after seeing him.

"So… what does it mean that they declared war," Lie Wei Ying asked sipping the coffee, "Also, do you want some Selfish Moon?" He imagined since she was staring at him she must be hungry. Despite that, Alpha Lord grabbed the cup on the table and in anger slammed it down.

"Heh… she's… she's just being delusional! She seems to think you have something on your face."

"…No… he actually has a nice face, and I was looking at his lips. Aren't they pretty Queenie?" She picked up the coffee with her visor down. Her outfit came with a space helmet for defense, and a black and white skirt and shirt.

Queenie could only nod her head, but was once against surprised. "Uhm, yeah, he's good looking Selfish Moons. Now, can you stop pointing your tits at him and help us plan?"

Haruki actually laughed somewhat awkwardly before Selfish Moons got up and started chasing him.

"Uhm…. So, we have to scout the map, right? I'm in the assassin class, so I guess I should?"

He had heard how this game works from his team. First, usually there would be an initial skirmish in the center, and after that the respawning players would defend. Unfortunately, Haruki during this game avoided it entirely voiding their advantage of having Phoenix!

He was a pro and Haruki the noob caused him to leave! However, LWY was five times his caliber and the team made a plan quickly.

"Yes… please go scout… If you see anyone you don't like kill them, but avoid the mines! Your HP is incredible, but a mine field will…" Queenie pat him on the back trying to get the bad memories out of him. There had been countless times he exploded into an inferno. The pain was felt with 90% accuracy.

Ever time he even said the word mine it reminded him of getting blown up!

"Ah… I get it… So, go I guess I'll come back after its all on the map…"

Lie Wei Ying ran off leaving Alpha Lord with his head tilted sideways at Selfish Moons body.
