48 Misunderstandings Lead to Great Battles! Dragon King, part 1

The beautiful morning came as Lie Wei Ying smiled on the bed. Most of the night was a blur except for that beautiful dragon he had the pleasure of sitting on. He spun the ice fruit of the earth dragon in his hand, and got ready to bite into it.

"System, do you know of anything that would make this fruit pack a stronger punch?"

Lie Wei Ying knew that this had an 80% chance of giving him a divine ability. However, when he woke up he had one of those great ideas you only get in the morning! He was really hoping he could get the system to purchase an item that would amplify the effect of this fruit.

The system did indeed have such an item. However, it came with a side effect that would make his life a year shorter. However, since Lie Wei Ying would probably live for forever anyway, why would one year matter in the long run? Infinity was a long time, and if he died a year before that would that really be so bad? It was hard for the system to fathom; however, so he didn't think about it. In the future, on the day before infinity was about to end, he'd give him something for that year.

"The system has offered you the sacred liquid of the earth dragon. Purchase Y/N?"

"Yes!"

"You've lost all your OP points to purchase the sacred liquid of the earth dragon."

A sacred liquid appeared in front of him and Lie Wei Ying immediately grabbed it and placed it on the fruit. He was very excited to taste something so delicious, and the sacred liquid made the fruit smell even better!

"Munch!"

Lie Wei Ying ate the fruit, and laid back on his bed.

It was a very pretty day outside, and the sun was rising in a blue sky with the clouds all scattered like sheep scared of the round ball of fire.

Lie Wei Ying yawned. He felt great as the fruit digested in his stomach.

A minute later, when he found his way outside, after eating a quick breakfast, he noticed a series of guards at the front of the cavern inn.

"Congratulations, you've acquired the level 1 divine ability Four-armed dragon-Ice clone."

Lie Wei Ying smiled as he approached the guards. Whatever that juice was it left a pleasant taste in his mouth. He was just unaware it came with the cost of a year of his very long life.

The dragon's royal guard was right in front of him. They were here to escort the boy to the king's castle! It was either that or the boy might run away after eating the fruit, and then they'd have to hunt him and kill him upsetting the beautiful princess. Many of these men liked the princess, so they would never want to upset her.

"Hi, are you guys waiting for me," Lie Wei Ying asked. He held out his small hand at one of the very large blue men standing in front of him.

He shook a blue hand that seemed like a human's hand.

It also had claws.

Basically, when the less pure dragons were in human form, they'd look a little blue when they turned to humans. However, since the dragon princess was a 100% royal dragon, she had a pure human form. It didn't really make sense unless you considered it made it easier for her to use dragon lineages abilities. One of them, the mighty ability of many dragons, was to turn into a human form.

"Yes, my name is Captain Changpu. Please get in the basket!"

Lie Wei Ying scratched his head from confusion. "I'm not too sure about getting in a basket. Is there a reason why?"

The dragon platoon laughed. "The silly boy doesn't realize how lucky he is."

"It's an honor to ride in the basket," The man beside Changpu said.

Changpu smiled and brought a very big basket over to Lie Wei Ying. He continued, "Yes, because if you know where the king lives we'll have to kill you. Would you prefer the very nice basket or the blind fold of darkness?"

Lie Wei Ying sighed. He ended up in a basket as the dragons hummed a rather annoying song.

Three long hours later.

The dragons took quite a complicated route so Lie Wei Ying would have no idea where this castle was.

They opened the lid of the basket as the dragon princess immediately picked him up and squeezed him. She was wearing a green dress today that was transparent past the knees. However, it went all the way down to her legs. Her father was right next to her, and he was smiling at the young boy.

"Ah, you have to be the bravest little man I've ever met." The king greeted.

He was wearing the sovereign crown of dragons, and immediately noticed the sovereign gauntlets on Lie Wei Ying's arms! They looked very pretty, and he sort of desired them. Dragons really liked treasure, and frankly he didn't want to have to give away his daughter to some human. However, he still had to engage in battle with this young boy.

Lie Wei Ying smiled. "Well, I'm not brave just powerful! Now the princess says you're very strong. So, I assume I must be here to have a talk with you about this dowry."

Lie Wei Ying pretended he knew what a dowry meant, and the king laughed.

"Ah yes. You must really like my daughter if you've come all the way to meet me."

The palace they were in was full of many people who got quiet suddenly. It was a blue room, and Lie Wei Ying finally noticed he was standing in an arena with quite a few men floating in the sky that seemed very powerful. He couldn't quite figure out why a talk would require such an audience.

"Lie Wei Ying," the dragon princess said, "You must be careful when you spar with my dad. He's really quite strong."

Lie Wei Ying scratched his head. "I don't get it. Are we going to spar with words sir?"

The dragon laughed. "No boy! HAHAHAHA, with our swords!"

The dragon king pulled out his blade. It was glowing as a gigantic image of a dragon appeared behind him. It was the royal swords of the dragonfish kingdom! All dragons originally came from the sea, and it was one of the last heirlooms the dragons had of their origins.

These weapons were at the cosmic god rank just like Lie Wei Ying's daggers of the inferno. However, the inferno daggers were still sleeping, so he had to pull out the male mantis strikes back blades. Luckily, they'd just leveled up to the god stage, or they'd break in this fight.

Two images stood behind one man and one boy.

The boy was much smaller than the man. In fact, he was about up to his knee.

"Before we begin. Can you tell me what I get if I beat you? The fruit was nice and all, but there must be something else I'm in this for!"

The dragon princess and her dad laughed. The beautiful teenage dragon that was actually twenty human years old leaned down and placed her lips against the boy's cheeks. "You get me silly boy." She kissed him all over the side of his head.

Yu Yan ran into some monsters along the way.

Apparently, she had been devoured by the wrong types of guys, and their wives had found her after she blew up in their bellies.

A huge series of angry woman that were very strong blocked her way towards the castle.

"I don't have time for this! You can all eat candy!"

She exploded out into three hundred little candy Yu Yans and flew towards the hangry woman's mouths. However, some of them weren't in the mood to eat because she killed their husbands. It was not going to be an easy battle!

Lie Wei Ying smiled. He had no idea what it meant to get a girl. Did that mean she'd be his slave? He didn't really like the idea of taking a girl away from her family, and making her be his slave. He didn't even know what to do with one!

"I'm not so sure I can fight you, Dragon King. I'm afraid I'll feel bad if I steal your daughter away from you."

The dragon King laughed. "You'd have to be able to beat me boy. You're three stages below me!"

Lie Wei Ying, at this moment, realized he couldn't sense the dragon king's powers.

A small man with a crane head walked on the stage and held out two very thin arms originally behind his back. "Enough of the talking great king. It's about time the battle begins. Fighters to their stations!"

Lie Wie Ying sighed. "Well, if you really want me to take your daughter so bad, I won't hold back."

The dragon smiled. "That's what I like to hear!"

The crane dropped his hand. "Battle begin!"

[Lightning dragon's acceleration!], [Four-armed dragon-ice clone!].

Lie Wei Ying was very afraid of the dragon king, so he immediately activated both of his divine abilities. One half of his body glowed with the blue white of lightning, and the other side glowed with the ice-cold blue of a budding clone.

Off his body a clone seemed to appear. It looked exactly like him. However, it had four arms and two legs.

The audience gasped.

"Is he a pure dragon," One member of the audience screamed, "How does he have the royal ability of our ancestors?"

The dragon king laughed as five clones with eight arms seemed to spread out of his body.

"Hmph, he may have the ability but its only rank 1. Try out my level 2 divine ability boy!"

The dragon king shot forward as Lie Wei Ying gulped. He looked over at the ice version of himself, and then it disappeared. It seemed like it knew his will, and he didn't have to command it or anything special.

The ice Lie Wei Ying, he decided to call him blue 1, shot off quickly towards the five ice statues with eight arms.

Lie Wei Ying seemed like a bolt of lightning as he dashed towards the king. He was extremely fast now that he'd leveled up. However, the dragon king wasn't impressed.

"You can't seriously want to marry my daughter with that type of speed can you."

Lie Wei Ying turned around and felt a set of claws scratch the side of his cheeks

"Boom!"
