108 Can Systems Level up?

There was a place called Sun Mist Dungeon Island.

It was roughly twenty million miles away from the lake where Lie Wei Ying and Fei Hung were just located.

On the island, there was a bountiful amount of level 350-410 creatures. This was usually corresponding to monsters passed the World Sovereign stage. These monsters had already completed their transcendent domains and had leveled up to the Enlightenment Anchoring Stage. After this stage, these monsters would officially be ready to challenge the tribulation to arrive in the third realm.

Yet, something interesting happened after the World Sovereign stage. The transcendent domain of these creatures would undergo a vast change. This usually happened around level 400 for monsters, and it was when a realm would be created. These realms, unlike domains, were able to shift the properties of the environment.

Lie Wei Ying, on the other hand, was already level 301. However, unlike a lot of the other monsters here, his level could reach higher than level 999. Mostly, it was thanks to the constitution of the gods, but it was also because of the overpowered system who had finally fully finished his upgrade.

"Congratulations, your system is the first system to upgrade in the universe… I'm back Lie Wei Ying! MUAHAHAHAHA," The system said as Lie Wei Ying smiled.

He was currently flying with Fei Hung who seemed somewhat frozen in time next to him.

At near the speed of light, it seemed like she was a sleeping beautiful girl that he was in full control over as he pulled her by the wrist. Lie Wei Ying was glad to have her leading the way every few moments when he stopped.

"Uhm… so do you want to tell me about this upgrade, System? You've been out of it for a while? What has it been… two months since I heard you talk to me?" He crossed his arms over his chest as the system took a second to try and figure out what to say.

"Uhm… I was meditating because S.O.P. wanted me to reach enlightenment. Sure enough, no system had ever meditated before and it was a fiercely challenging time for me," He paused and then pat S.O.P. on the back, "However, when I was there, I realized S.O.P. was actually quite good at guiding me, so when I actually started listening to what he was saying I saw the light. Now, I think he's actually a pretty good guy."

Lie Wei Ying stopped for a second. "You mean you stopped your fun conversations with S.O.P. I liked seeing you two act like brothers." Lie Wie Ying smiled before he noticed the mountains arriving in the distance.

"Hmph, I like my brother now because he's such a good guide. So, what if he isn't as strong as me? I'm the benevolent type and will not let my pride get in my way. You'll see when I activate one of my new features… I won't be that system that does nothing anymore while my master tries to fight the universe by himself single handedly."

O.P. started to shine in the O.P. world before a message showed up in front of Lie Wei Ying.

"Your system is the first system in the entire universe to be able to contemplate the Dao and has reached system level 2."

"Your system is also the first system in the entire universe to upgrade to the second level, and current improvements need to be tested. It is speculated experience absorption rate has increased by 20%."

"You've gained new tab in system window called the [contemplation mode]. It will allow you to engender new skills with the help of the systems new and improved mind."

Lie Wei Ying smiled and then shot forward down onto Sun Mist Dungeon Island. There were no monsters in sight, however, there was the dazed Fei Hung next to him and he heard her heart beat pumping against her chest.

"We're here, Fei Hung. Thanks for guiding me here," He said as he smiled at her before he looked down at the amulet on his body, "How do you use this amulet by the way?"

He squeezed it trying to get it to work as the air finally entered into Fei Hung's lungs. "You… almost killed me… Why are you so fast?" She fixed her armor that was sort of falling off her body. "I was pretty sure It would take us an hour to get here… However, it feels like its only been two minutes."

Lie Wei Ying nodded his head before he pointed down to the island. "I just want to know where the weakest monsters are on this island. You said there are some level 330 monsters here, right? Also, the necklace."

A second later, the necklace ended up in Fei Hung's hand before an energy started flowing around her body. "You just got to use your transcendent energy to operate this." She squeezed it with her hands before a second version of her seemed to appear. At this time, the amulet was glowing crimson. It was almost as if her blood was transfusing into it.

"I… don't know how to use transcendent energy… Keep that thing until I return." He sighed before his back turned away from the small girl who was roughly his size.

She looked at him and immediately started laughing. "Hue hue hue, the guy who killed the seven hollows doesn't know how to use transcendent ener—"

Lie Wei Ying put his small finger to her mouth. "I want you to tell me fast. Can I learn to use it?"

"—Uhm, yeah, but you got to be at the World Celestial stage to at least use it."

Lie Wei Ying sighed before he turned down to the island. "I'll be right back… I'll kill my way to the World Celestial stage. Just don't move, okay?"

The girl scratched her head before a light that was Lie Wei Ying disappeared.

At this point, there wasn't even an illusion of power when Lie Wei Ying moved. He was just impossible for her to see.

"Try not to die, Lie Wei ying. I'm sure a lot of women would be very sad if you died."

She pouted watching one of the good ones fly off towards the most dangerous island she could think of. Well, minus the place north called the Winter and Summer Sanctuary. That place happened to be a paradise for those at the Enlightenment Anchoring stage, and she was really hoping he'd be satisfied here. After all, this island usually took an hour to complete for those at level at 400 and above.

Regardless, right now, she began to wonder what the girls in his harem were like. She looked down and sighed watching his shadow disappear.

"Uhm… good luck, Lie Wei Ying..."

A second after their conversation, Lie Wei Ying was already exploring the gigantic islands surface.

When he was on his way down, he immediately decided to go near the coast. It seemed logical to him that the monsters near the coast would be the monsters who possessed the least dominance on the island.

After that realization, it took him roughly five seconds to stumble upon a gigantic pack of dragons near the sands. They were all level 335, and had long necks and fierce faces.

He accelerated close to 1/5th the speed of light.

The monsters, in response, shot out millions of fire balls towards his illusive body.

He activated his Law of Mirage and Trickery before his main body branched off. Unbeknownst to dragons pumping out fire, his body pummeled into the earth.

'Sorry, but you're first big guy,' Lie Wei Ying thought and then he fired up towards the surface.

A gigantic beast was surprised as Lie Wei Ying appeared out of seemingly nowhere. He twisted his dagger as blood flew out of its gigantic surprised face.
