69 A Beyond Legendary Shadow.
The battle raged on.
Lie Wei Ying's basic daggers extended outward as light seemed to suffuse out of the air engulfing the space ten feet off it. It seemed to turn into a much larger sword, and emitted many of his Dao's.
At this moment, he was planning on finishing this and stopping this tiring battle.
He felt like, why do bosses have so much HP?
It didn't make any sense. However, it was finally almost fully gone!

The mother beast was laying with her body against the bodies of her children as she whimpered in a mix of anguish and anger.
Whomever this boy was, that was certainly not his real level. Unless the rules of the game changed, since her stats were so much higher than the boy's, he should be the one lying on the ground about to die.
She had eaten countless humans to get to this level, and a lot of them were pretty maidens.
In fact, the last one she ate last was sleeping in her den, and she was worth an entire level! It was one of the joys of being a wild animal. However, now that she was face to face with a monster, it seemed like it would've been better if she took one of the other paths.
She could have been a harmless NPC wolf in the first town, or perhaps she could have been someone's pet. However, she had made the choice, and was ready for the consequences.
The berserk mode faded away, fully disappearing off her body, as Lie Wei Ying approached.
She closed her eyes, and prepared for the boy.
Perhaps if he was one of her cubs, and not a small boy, it would have made her feel slightly better.
She imagined all the killing that would go on after she was gone. Her children, whomever she didn't accidentally kill, would probably end up biting each other until one of them was declared the next boss.
Unfortunately, this boy wasn't one of her cubs. In fact, he was much smaller and more monstrous. She shut her eyes tight and prepared to be freed. She had no idea if this was the end for her, or if she would be let out into the real world.
The monsters weren't allowed to know such things. It was tragic really.
Regardless, Lie Wei Ying seemed to disappear from where he was as his basic daggers turned upward. Then his little bulging arms carved into the Matriarch's chest.
"Gush x 20000!"
Blood shot up into the sky as the Matriarch's last HP dwindled down to zero. It was sort of like a fountain of flood, and all her kids who had left just knew she had died.
It was a tough moment for them, and the few whom she didn't kill by accident looked back with saddened eyes. It was not easy to know that your mom died, and what was even worse was that she was used to kill her children before the final strike.
They all knew that as demon wolves they were bad. However, had they really eaten enough humans to deserve being killed by their own mother's body. Did she really need to be used as a vehicle of revenge?
What exactly did they do to this boy to deserve this? Perhaps they ate one of his family members, and he came to seek revenge after bribing the P.I.G. system to hide his real level. It was certainly a possibility.
Charismatic Howling Beast rubbed her head against Forest Light Wolf Beast. "Thank you for saving me brother. Let's get strong now so we can eat that little boy."
Forest Light Wolf Beast was sort of in his own world. However, he grinned when she brought that up. "Yes, let's go near the entry portal and snack on some new players who aren't expecting us!"
It was quite unfortunate for the noobs who were level 20 and below. The higher-level beginner monsters would lurk by the beginner's portals, and since they were below level 65 It was totally fine! Soon, hopefully someone would find out about this and save all the pretty new girls from being eaten.

Chun Hua smiled.
"Yes, she was finally level 56!"
All she could think about was how she was the only harem member in Lei Wei Ying's harem. Indeed, it was quite a privilege and she wondered how her harem leader would want to be rewarded.
Perhaps he was one of the types who would want your body. However, she only just met him, and she was so pure!
The idea of her having to give up her body to some strange new man was kind of weird. She sort of felt indebted to him for leveling her up. However, it seemed like quite a lot to give the guild leader her body on the first day they were together.
Perhaps when he finally leveled her up to level 65, or he was level 65, and she could leave this god forsaken beginner's land, then she might one day accidentally fall into his arms and let him have his way with her.
However, the boy in front of her seemed so hard to read. Perhaps he might be one of those ravenous men who likes nothing but women after the battle! The only problem was she was only one girl! She must find another harem member quickly, or else she'd be the only one he could take out his frustrations on. She wasn't ready!
Yes, suddenly she had a new mission. She had to help get new girls for her overpowered leader.

Lie Wei Ying smiled as he clicked his hand on the wolf's body.
There was a glowing set of armor flying up in the air over her beastly body along with a slew of magic stones that flew into his body.
"Congratulations, you've acquired 2000 Magic stones from slaying the Great Matriarch of the Lightning Wolves."
"Congratulations, you've acquired the [Blood Ancient Coyote Armor!] (Gold Rank)"
"Congratulations, your level was underestimated. You're level 65! However, you've leveled up to level 67 from slaughtering the wolf."

Lie Wei Ying looked at the gold armor and pressed the equip button.
He was getting used to this thing called an inventory, and was very proud it was easy to play this game. It seemed to only require killing things just like the real world, and it wasn't terribly hard for him to do that. However, now he just had to figure out what to do with Chun Hua.
"You can stop hiding now," Lie Wei Ying said, "I took care of this pretty beast."
Chun Hua came out of the bushes. "I'm so proud of you Lie Wei Ying! However, why did you level up so much?"
Lie Wei Ying laughed. He was starting to feel more mature for some reason. What exactly was in this air? Regardless, he looked at her and smiled. "Apparently, my level was underestimated, so they fixed it now.
Chun Hua nodded her head and then ran over to him with a shy look on her face. She shamelessly squeezed her arms together, causing her round weapons to bounce, and looked at Lie Wei Ying with a cute smile on her face. Her cheeks even puffed out making her look unbelievably attractive.
"Would you like a reward, Lie Wei Ying? I'm a pure girl, but I'm very good at following commands. Please feel free to show me the way."
Lie Wei Ying was confused and walked over towards the wolf body. There was a golden light glowing inside the Matriarch's stomach. What other item had he missed, and why was it so much brighter than the armor he found?
"Uhm, give me one second. I must get that reward Chun Hua. I'll be right with you in a moment. Please get ready for me, okay!"
Chun Hua blushed and started trying to figure out how to get ready. "Yes, I'll be over here waiting for you! Please take your time!"
Chun Hua was very nervous; however, she still began to prepare herself mentally.
"It's only your first-time Chun Hua. You just need to do what he says, and not mention that fact to him," She thought even more thoughts like that as her mind raced.
Lie Wei Ying, however, was looking at the belly of the beast. Her white furry stomach looked like it had something in there sleeping. He could see a very small shadow, and immediately took out his knife to cut his way inside.
He slashed a small gushing pathway towards the dead beast's insides as Chun Hua looked at the belly of the beast confusedly.
Usually, items would be drawn out of the body, so you wouldn't have to carve your way inside like that. However, whatever this object was seemed to be very powerful! It was glowing with an even brighter light then a legendary item.
She had seen one such item before when a huge harem war broke out.
Two large harem troops marched onto the battle field some time ago and fought for the glistening silver chest of the ninth palace.
It was an intense battle and both sides lost much HP.
However, finally, one of the toughest men she'd ever met, besides Lie Wei Ying of course, cut away his opponent and stole all his women! Yes, his name was Minshen Qi, and he slaughtered that poor other man and seriously stole all 57 of his women.
However, because of her puny level, he turned her down after she revealed herself after the battle. Unfortunately, he wasn't as benevolent as her great Lie Wei Ying.
Regardless, at this moment, Lie Wei Ying walked inside the belly as goo seemed to fall all around him. He constantly had to carve his way forward through the red bleeding tunnel as he approached the light.
The shadow seemed to get bigger and bigger.
