3 CH-3. A MONTH IS MORE THAN ENOUGH

Authors note- From now on Elcid words are not going to be in brackets.

...

After taking a refreshing cold shower, I quickly got dressed and stepped out of the dormitory. With slow, deliberate steps, I made my way towards the academy, taking in the sights of the surrounding area.

Elcid, noticing my content expression as I observed my new surroundings, couldn't help but ask, "Are you comparing this world with your previous one?"

I smiled and replied, "Well, I wouldn't say I'm comparing, but this world is definitely a vast improvement from my previous one. It was a harsh place, where the weak were constantly in danger and the strong only grew stronger."

Elcid's cheerful smile widened as he responded, "Well, now it's your new home, so enjoy it to the fullest."

Feeling a sense of responsibility as the hero of this world, I nodded and said, "You're absolutely right. This is my home now, and it's my duty to protect it."

Elcid's curiosity got the better of him as he expressed, "Hmm, I was hoping to see your skills from your past life, but I guess we'll have to wait until you return from the academy."

Teasingly, I remarked, "Oh, so you're eager to see my skills, huh?" Elcid couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed at my playful tone. It was amusing to see even a holy sword like him get flustered. And in case you're wondering, where is the holy sword then simply the holy sword can conceal itself within me, just like my Snow Flower, except it resides in the palm of my hand.

Elcid quickly retorted, "Humph, it's not like that. I just want to see them a little bit."

Chuckling, I replied, "Haha, of course you do. Just be patient until evening."

...

Sitting in the classroom, my eyes were fixed on the professor at the front of the room, diligently imparting knowledge to us. However, I couldn't bring myself to pay much attention to his teachings. It wasn't because they were worthless, but rather because I had made up my mind to leave the academy after regaining my memories.

'Hey Elcid, I've made the decision to leave the academy,' I communicated to him in my mind. Elcid and I had a unique way of conversing, similar to the sound transmission ability I possessed in my past life, which I could still use.

"Oh, so you've already made up your mind," Elcid responded. "I was actually going to suggest the same. After all, I haven't regained all my memories yet, so I wouldn't be able to teach you all my techniques. Plus, there's still one more year before the seal on me is broken."

His words didn't surprise me. Along our journey, he had mentioned that his body was left in the Titan mountain range, and in order to regain his memories, he had to go there. Since he had chosen me before time, most of the powers of the Holy Sword were sealed, and I would only be able to access them next year.

I wasn't worried about the second matter because I knew that once I regained the strength of my past life, I would be unstoppable. And with Elcid by my side, things would become even more interesting.

Just like that, the other classes began and ended. During some of the classes, Leon (the other one) would glance back and observe the noticeable changes in me. However, I didn't bother to look at him. I had already decided to settle things with him by challenging him one last time and emerging victorious.

.....

In the heart of the forest, Elcid stood by my side as I ventured deeper, ensuring that no one would accidentally stumble upon us.

"Are you prepared?" I inquired, locking eyes with Elcid.

"Just be quiet and show me already," Elcid responded with an annoyed tone. He was genuinely excited to witness Leon's extraordinary abilities, as anyone would be given the opportunity to witness skills that defied the laws of this world.

Observing his reaction, a smile formed on my face as I summoned Snow Flower, grasping her tightly and connecting with her emotions. It was a joyous reunion for both of us.

With Snow Flower in my right hand, I raised her before me and executed flawless swings, each one far from ordinary despite their seemingly normal appearance.

Elcid marveled at Leon's movements, his thoughts filled with awe. The grace and speed with which Leon wielded his sword were truly astonishing. It was akin to watching a deadly dance unfold before his eyes.

Elcid was utterly shocked by what he witnessed. He had never encountered such mastery over swordplay and fluidity of movement. Each strike from Leon possessed immense power. What surprised him even more was the fact that Leon had yet to unleash any of his special skills; he was merely showcasing his expertise with the sword.

After a few more captivating maneuvers, Leon abruptly ceased, leaving Elcid intrigued. With a curious expression, Elcid wondered why Leon had stopped, eager to discover what else he had in store.

I glanced at Elcid, noticing his curiosity. With a smile, I adjusted my sword at my side, slightly bending my body before employing one of my foot techniques.

"DASH STEP."

As those words escaped my lips, I vanished from my original position, reappearing 50 meters away and swiftly executing one of my sword skills.

"ONE FOCUS."

Drawing my sword, which emanated a dark aura, I performed a horizontal slash, unleashing a powerful energy wave that remained invisible to the naked eye.

If there was anyone else they would be shocked because when he unleashed the attack nothing happened but that's not what actually happened, his attack did sliced something but that thing can only be noticed by someone who has mastery in sword.

"What the actual heck". Elcid said with a jaw dropping expression because he saw what Leon actually did. His footwork which he performed was extraordinary covering 50 meters with lightning speed and the attack which Leon unleashed sliced a big rock which was 100s of meter away without damaging any tree or anything in its path, not even a leaf of tree fall because of it. It was an silent attack an incredible sword skill.

I couldn't help but tease Elcid, breaking the silence with a playful voice, "Do I need to saw anything else?"

Still in shock, Elcid replied with a defeated look, "Just forget it. I don't want to die again. And those were just your weakest skills, right?" Deep down, he felt a sense of pride, knowing that he had chosen someone like Leon as his successor.

"You're right. My body isn't ready to handle all of my techniques just yet," I said, clenching my fist. "But it's only a matter of time. In less than a month, I'll be able to utilize almost all of my skills." With the merging of my souls and the addition of Elcid, my body had already been strengthened. All I needed was some training to further enhance my physical abilities, not to mention my mastery over the elements.
