4 Shalltear The Betrayer

"what a beautiful day." Going out for her daily walk, Renner had a beautiful pure smile while she looked at the garden around her. behind her, Climb followed a complex look in his eyes. he didn't know why, but something was off about Renner lately.

It all started the day that strange man appeared, ever since Renner seemed to be different. He knew the princess for as long as he could remember. she found him in the streets, and she took him in. She saved him, and he went on to become her knight. Yes, he was not talented, and yes little people liked him. but as long as he could be of use to Renner, what did all that matter?

"Climb, what's wrong? Are you thinking about Dracula?" Renner asked while looking back a Climb, who hesitated for a moment before he nodded weakly.

"I don't think it safe for the princess to allow someone to be so close... someone so powerful," Climb said softly, to which Renner smiled without saying anything much, she thought for a moment before she had the walk come to an end and they went back inside

But on the way, a scene caught her attention. stunned, she went to the kitchen, only to see the scene of Dracula telling the royal cook how to mix something.

"Alright, now where are the cake pans?" Dracula asked with arms crossed, the cook quickly got them, and he went on to pour the mixed white stuff into the cake pan.

"after which, bake it for about 30 minutes. we want a beautiful golden brown color." I said calmly, to which the cook nodded while putting it into the stone oven.

"while we wait, let's work on our frosting. Combine butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a standard mixer or large bowl with a hand mixer until it's smooth and doesn't have any lumps." I said calmly to which the cook looked at me with an awkward look

"cough, I mean honey. forgot vanilla is too expensive." I said calmly, while the cook went on to do as said, and in no time we had our frosting. the cook went to check the cake and seeing it was time took it out and under my lead went on to put the frosting on the cake.

"and boom, you have your cake. I don't know if you did a good job on your first try, but it does look beautiful." I said with a smile while cutting the cake, placing it onto a plate, and taking a bite of it. closing my eyes, I nodded slightly,

"Back home is trash, but it did have some good stuff like this. go ahead, have another bite." I said with a smile, the cook took a bite and his eyes popped wide open. he was shocked, a scene which made me nod my head in approval.

"Renner, you have been standing there for long enough, come try some," I said while turning back to look at Renner. who have been standing there, watching us. it was only me and the cook in the kitchen, so no one noticed her or paid respect to her.

the cook hearing my word turned and quickly paid his respect to Renner, who nodded with a pure innocent smile towards him, before coming to take a bite of the cake. Climb wanted to stop her, how could the princess just eat anything? but he was a step too late

"This is beautiful," Renner said with widened slightly, she looked at me and back at the cook, not knowing who she should praise. she quickly had Climb come take a bite, and Climb taste buds almost exploded,

"Sir Draula, I would be more than willing to buy more recipes from you." The Cook said with bright eyes, making Dracula rub his goatee for a moment before speaking.

'I did play all types of games... the amount of knowledge I have on stuff like this isn't small. sadly I don't have the cook job class and other classes. I need someone else to do it for me.' I thought while nodding for a moment.

"I have many, some harder than others. but I believe we can recreate them." I said with a smile, I remember the cooking game I once played. to save money, I farmed and created everything myself. this allowed me to collect many hidden bonuses in the game, which allowed me to sell that account for a high prince. for $10,000.

It was also thanks to the fact I had played a Stone Age game, where I was a scientist who was sent back in time to the time of the dinosaur. I was immortal up until the time were the scientist would have gone back in time. I had to farm, hunt, and so many other things. I also had to avoid doing anything that might cause the evolution of humans to never take place. it was a complex game, that taught one a lot about the history of earth.

"wait, how much do you wish for this cake recipe?" the cook asked, he was known as Cook Rinder. a commer who was born with a unique talent that allowed him to be able to learn all cooking recipes 10 times faster than the normal person. this allowed him to quickly become the best chief, and due to some things went on to work for the royal family. 

So to Cook Rinder, it was as if he cooked that cake 10 times, at least that the experiences he got from it. he was sure if he cooked it again, the cake would be far better than before, but to build connections, he was going to buy the cake recipe even though he remembered it well.

Of course, I refused to have him pay. Instead, I just had him promise to cook for me from time to time, something which Cook Rinder nodded to. after all that, I walked with Renner and Climb back to Renner's room

"the food of this world is trash. although I don't need to eat... I don't see why I can't enjoy myself." I said calmly, to which Renner just smiled without saying anything.

'he was poor in his past life, yet something like vanilla is commonplace. the same for sweets like this.' Renner thought calmly, Vanilia was a unique were expensive stuff, due to how hard it was to grow them. there were even pirates who would go out of their way to steal such things.

any new information?" I asked calmly upon returning to Renner's room, where Renner had Climb give them space to speak.

"oh yes, Momon tamed the Wise King of the Forest on his little adventure with the swords of darkness. sadly, the sword of darkness was all killed just last night. someone called Clementine stole the Crown of Wisdom which could allow one to use 7 tier magic. she joined forces with Khajiit Dale Badantel, and the two planned to kidnap Nfirea. sadly Momon wasn't there when they attacked, they kidnapped him to have him use his special talent that allowed him to use any gear." Renner went on to explain the events of last night,

Pretty much, Clementine and Badantel create an army of undead. they were going to attack the city, but Momon and Nabe stopped them. cutting through a thousand undead, as well as defeating 2 skeleton dragons that had complete immunity to magic up to said tier.

"but thats not all... there was a sighting of a powerful vampire. a female vampire who has pinkish silver hair." Renner said with a smile, making me frown, this was Shalltear.

"Oh, you seem to know who I'm speaking about." She said to which I nodded slightly. I sighed softly before turning to look outside Renner's window.

"you have been ears-dropping for some time, you might as well enter," I said calmly, stunning Renner who was confused. a moment passed, and soon the window opened and and entered.

 A tall demon with dark skin and nicely combed black hair. Behind the round glasses are eyes so squinted that they are not normally visible. Wearing a British suit with a tie, he is dressed like a gentleman. Behind his back is a silver tail, covered with metal plates and six long spikes at the end. His eyes lack eyeballs, instead, shining jewels with numerous small cuts take their place.

"Demiurge, by chance you would not think I would fall for a slime thats shapeshifts into you?" I said with a smile while looking at the demon kneeling before me

"I mean no disrespect, my lord. a while back Sebas had reported a few things that had caught my interest, and to make sure I came here to see. thats when I sensed the lord's mighty power. unsure, I had a summon master keep an eye on you while I waited for lord Ainz Ooal Gown's words." Demiurge said, well this was not Demiurge but a slime. but it was saying Demiurge words

"Ainz..." I said softly, making Demiurge frown slightly. with a deep frown, I looked at Demiurge, he seemed to be the same as he was programmed. He was the smartest NPC, the others either rivaled him or were better than him in some other places.

"What did he send you to do?" I asked calmly, to which Demiurge shook his head.

"Shalltear has betrayed the great tomb of Nazarick, someone should have used a world item on her, bypassing her resistance to mind control. Ainz is going to fight her by himself, I can't sit back and let him fight someone who greatly counters him. I tried to report to him about your existence, but he was too busy to listen." Demiurge said to which my eyebrow raised, Shalltear was Ainz's counter. it was foolish to fight her

"how do you know I wasn't the one to betray the great tomb of Nazarick and use the world item on her," I asked with a smile,

"because... you care for the great tomb of Nazarick. all this time, you have been secretly looking in on lord Ainz, if you wanted to do something, you have many chances to attack. I also got the information from Renner." Demiurge said softly, I frowned at him for a moment before looking towards Renner. realization hit him, this demon had used something to charm her to have her spill the beans and erase her memory.

"I see... Ainz is using the old trick. using himself as a bet to draw out the enemy, while you all stay on standby. I'm the one who taught the guild that evil scheming trick. by the way, how much do you know of me?" I asked with a smile while pulling out a crystal ball.

"almost nothing. All I know is that all of the supreme being left, you were the first one. Ainz is the only supreme being that remains." Demiurge said making my smile disappear. although the fact he called me and the others supreme beings, I was not bothered by such nonsense right now.

"They all left? Touch Me? Ulbert Alain Odle? everyone?" I asked in a heavy tone, which Demiurge nodded slightly. I said nothing else, pulling out something from my storage, Renner and Demiurge watched on in shock.

"This is a Divine Class Item. one of its kind, The Eye Of Odin. someone was using it to hunt me down once, but I slaughtered him and his whole party." I said with a smile while looking at the eyeball, which floated up and projected an image onto the table, showing me a sky view image of where I was. about 250 miles in each direction 

"Search for a powerful level 100 vampire other than myself," I said causing the map to suddenly zoom in towards a point on the map, where I saw Shalltear who was wearing a crimson red-colored full plate armor that almost looked like it was covered in blood.

"I will play through with Ainz's plan, I will step in once before later," I said calmly, back in the great tomb of Nazarick, Demiurge sat alongside another demon. a beautiful woman, whose beauty transcended common sense. She was a succubus, Albedo.

opposite them was something that had an enormous body size of 2.5 meters, it had the appearance of an insect walking on two feet - a fusion between a mantis and an ant. With a tail twice as long as his height. it was called Cocytus. Cocytus is covered in sharp spikes like icicles and has a strong jaw that can easily snap people's hands.

Demiurge hid his movement well, as he was speaking with Dracula. but he couldn't afford to lose the last supreme being. Albedo who was in love with Ainz had foolishly ignored common sense, and couldn't stop Ainz who wanted to go fight Shalltear. He wanted nothing more than to leave and go to Ainz size, but these two wouldn't allow him. following the order Ainz gave them, he turned towards Dracula. it was a foolish choice on his side, but he panicked.

he looked towards the mirror, which showed Ainz Ooal Gown and Shalltear fighting, the battle was about to begin. Yet from what the slime told him, Dracula was doing nothing and simply looking at the same scene as them. He was even speaking to Renner.

"yeah, we created them... I created one as well. her name is Rubedo. well everyone else was created the same way, I uniquely created her. making her the strongest, but I gave her to Tabula Smaragdina to take care of her when I was banished." I said softly,

"I thought you were sealed?" Renner asked with a confused look, to which I shook my head.

"banished is the better world. since the item dissipation is that it kicks someone out. I was banished, and only made my way back moments before we were all teleported away. but to think everyone is done, it must have been lonely. knowing Momonga, he waited for us." I said calmly, causing Demiurge to widen his eyes in shock.

"well... I should go make a badass entrance," I said softly, my body slowly disappearing like it was an afterimage or something... no, it was an afterimage. Renner and Demiurge froze at the scene, only to look at the battle between Ainz and Shalltear which instantly came to an end as someone suddenly appeared in the middle of the two. who else could be it but Dracula? To fly so far away, in less than a second when he was right before them. surely he had to teleport right?

"Dracula?!!" Momonga, now going by Ainz Ooal Gown yelled, seeing the vampire which was standing before him.
