Chapter 30: Saron

Im am now walking to one of the seven entrances the castle has, of course accompagned by Laila. No matter how much I insisted on the fact that I could walk alone, they always wanted at least someone with me in case I need something. This is only inside the castle.

In case I wanted to go outside, they would do anything to make one of the gods be with me, of course they know of my powers but still they don't want me to be in any kind of problems.

Reaching the huge metal gates, I saw a carriage designed to the highest standards and craftsmanship, built with quality materials and a lavish attention to detail. The exterior was painted with a gorgeous gold and crimson paint, and the interior was lavishly decorated in fine satin, leather and velvet.

There were beautiful handcarved ornamentation and dragons ornate carvings, and the seats were extremely comfortable and spacious. The carriage was drawn by a pair of big powerful non-intelligents fire lizards, and a team of professional carriage drivers were responsible for transporting me to my destination in style.

This carriage was truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship, and it signaled to everyone my status and position. The carriage was surrounded by the 25 draconians I summoned using the lucky egg, they assumed the position of royal guards under the directions of Gabiru who is going to lead the way for us.

Gojo stepped from the crowd and respectfuly bowed his head. "Nouflex-sama, it is a pleasure to see you. Im really happy and honored that you choosed me to accompany you in this outing."

"If I chose you Gojo, its because I believe in your powers and capabilities. It dosent mean I dont believe in the others, but you simply are the most suited for this mission." I went past him as I tapped his shoulder.

The door of the carriage was opened by one of the draconians who saw me coming, walking up the three steps stairs, I asked him.

"What are you waiting for Satoru? Hop in!" He was suprised that I invited him to sit with me in the carriage, he was expecting to walk just like the others. Who would dare bother the monarch in his carriage after all.

Laila who was acompagning me left the place now that I was with the presence of the God of Space.

"T-thank you my lord!" He followed behind me, sitting facing me in the spacious place we have. Then the carriage finally started going to the elven village.

"The trip should take us 30 minutes at most my lord." Gojo said.

"I know, they are really close to us. But they dont really interest me. What im curious about is if there is a kingdom or country in this region." I explained to him.

After a few minutes, I wanted to munch something to kill the time, so I knocked on the door. The door opened immedietly and a butler jumped from his horse inside.

"My lord! What can this lowly servant help you with?" He had a napkin on his forearm holding an empty plate on his palm.

"Hmm... Gojo likes sweet things so bring us some cakes and a nice refreshing drink, it's really hot man!" I opened a golden fan to blow some cold air on myself.

"Okay, should we change the weather to make it to your liking Nouflex-sama?" The butler asked.

"No no, leave things as they are, just bring to us what I asked." I replied looking at the forest through the window to my right.

From a fridge like magical item, that even I didn't remember I had, the butler took out and placed before us three different types of sweers, chocolate and cheese cakes, and caramel with peanut butter small balls.

He placed cups too which he filled with cold refreshing pineapple juice. While Enjoying this heavenly food with Gojo who was happy because I remembered the fact that he like sweets, we were getting closer to our destination.

Once we reached our destination, the carriage stopped and I started hearing a sound of a lot things hitting the ground simultaneously. Gojo was the first to open the door and come out and I followed him.

Stepping out, I finaly saw what was making this sound, the royal guards were creating a passage for us while hitting the bottom of their spears on the ground non-stop. I walked past them alongside Gojo who had his hands inside his pockets with a nonechalant smile.

Looking ahead of us, I saw that the trees in the forest changed completely, they became really huge and clearly wider and thicker. I also noticed many wooden bridges interconnecting all the houses that were built on the top of those trees.

On the ground there were some decorations like fountains and buildings as well as what looked like shops. But the weird thing is that many of those building were destroyed, blood was in some places while others were on fire.

Walking to the place with Gojo, I sensed a presence on top of a tree, it had a clear killing intent, then the person hiding there shot a two consicutive arrows towards me, but they stopped a few centimeter before my body. Giving them a closer look, I noticed that on the tip was a green weird substance that I assumed as poison.

Gojo was the one to stop those arrows using his abilities, canceling them they simply fell to the ground next to my feet, and Gojo intoduced us.

"FOR THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE! The Dragon Monarch has come to visit your village, we do not want to hurt you so come out at once and show respect to his majesty!"

But even after this, no one showed up.

"I guess you will have to get a little bit rough Satoru." I suggested.

"Yes my lord." Gojo lifted his index and middle finger together forming a light blue orb that he fired towards the buildings on the ground. The orb absorbed everything that was there and the three buildings that Gojo aimed for disapeared as if they werent there in the first place.

"OKAY! STOP! Please stop, we can't hold on anymore, we are already in a bad shape so please stop." The one who was hidden on top of the tree jumped after witnessing what Gojo did.

He was an elf with long brown hair, with his bow and arrows behind his back. He was pretty skinny with purple bags under his eyes. His expression is empty, he seemed ready to give up and to be killed at any given moment.

"Dont harm anyone anymore, we are already in big problems." He expressed.

"You! What is your name, and what is this place?" I asked.

"My name is Alen and we are in Saron, the elven village." He replied

"Are you the person in charge here? I need someone as such to talk to." I explained to him.

He gave a look to the group of guards standing in a professional formation behind and remembered what this white haired guy just did to the buildings, he nervously replied. "No im just a warrior, the head chief is in the village. I can take you there but only if you garentee to me that you will not hurt a person." He helplessely asked.

Gojo was about to beat some sense into him for not giving the answer I wanted to hear but I managed to reply to him before things would degenerate.

"If your people show proper respect, then I swear on my name, Nouflex Cor Ignis to not harm a single person!" I stated.

"In that case please follow me, but only you two the guards behind you will scare the people. We have been attacked a lot recently so everyone is on edge." He tried to explain the situation.

"Sure, I wasn't planning on bringing them there anyways, so lets get going then." I said.
