6 Architect of Reality

In a room of marble and pristine glass, there stood a man wearing robes that of the Catheric clergy, descendants of the Old Terran Roman Catholic Religion. Kneeling in front of him is a man wearing clothing similar to that of monks with a white over cape.

"Captain of one of the six Scriptures that serves the Six Great Gods, Nigun Grid Lewin of the Sunlit Scripture."

"Yes."

"You must eliminate the Re-Estize Kingdom's greatest warrior, Gazef Stronoff."

The bishop then takes a crystal the size of a ball and shows it to Nigun.

"This is a relic and treasure given to us by the Gods. Use it if you must, Nigun."

* Fields of Carne *

Nigun stood in front of a unit of masked men, this was the Sunlit Scripture, one of the six elite units who were directly under the command of the Theocracy.

"Attention, all units! Our prey has entered the cage. Devote your faith to the Gods. Ask for strength and guidance in this battle. We will make this his grave."

* Home of the Chief *

Hiding inside the home of the village chief were Gazef, Ainz, Szrazyn and their companions.

"Magic Casters. Here to assassinate me."

All around the village, masked men in the similar robes stood with floating beings behind them.

"They've surrounded the entirety of the village in equally spaced intervals. Escape is not an option without breaking through."

"Who are they exactly?"

"*Sigh* Only the Slane Theocracy could send this many casters in a single battle. And they're part of the special ops unit directly underneath the Head Priest. They must be one of the Six Scriptures."

Szrazyn kept quiet, listening into their conversation to gather more information on this Theocracy.

"They? Are they the ones who attacked earlier?"

"The knights were armored like the Empire but it seems they were decoys from the Theocracy."

"As I thought. Does this village hold that much importance?"

"Sir Gown, this village has no important minerals, no gold, no diamonds, no valuable resources, it doesn't even have a strategic importance. There is only one reason they are attacking this village."

Szrazyn then entered the conversation with a small irony of things.

"Beloved and glorified in your kingdom but despised and demonized in others. It's a beautiful cycle isn't it? This cycle of hate?"

"Then you must know how it feels to be hated, Sir Ran."

"Truly I do know how it feels... To be hated by not just millions but billions of people. Yet I wasn't just hated, I was feared for good reasons, that was the sole reason why I hid myself from the world. I had my fill of hatred and disgust, so I ran and hid for decades until I met Ainz."

"But to think that the Theocracy would send one of their scriptures to kill me... "

Ainz looked out to the scripture's soldiers. He then started to communicate with Szrazyn telepathically.

"Those are Archangel Flames, if I'm not wrong."

"Indeed you are not wrong, my friend."

"But what are they doing here?! If they're here than what's stopping other monsters from Yggdrasil from appearing?"

"Just hope that Krorks and the Aeldari don't arrive... Or else a true war shall arise."

Their telepathic conversation was cut short when Gazef spoke.

"I wish to hire both of you. I'll be sure to reward both of you handsomely."

"I decline."

"Sir Ran?"

"I must decline as well. I wish to still be anonymous in the world. I don't think the hatred I created has vanished."

"I see. Well, thank you still, for saving this village. Sir Gown, Sir Ran."

Gazef then shakes both of their hands.

"I truly am grateful for your deeds. I know you won't be swayed by rewards but please, when I fight them, please protect the villagers. Make a way for them to be evacuated. I have nothing to give you right now but I beg the both of you."

Gazef was about to kneel to them but Ainz stopped him.

"You do not need to go that far, I understand your wishes, we will be sure to protect the villagers. I will put my name, Ainz Ooal Gown, on the line."

Standing up, Gazef then told them.

"Then I have nothing to worry about."

"Though, before you go, take this."

Ainz goes through his pocket and takes out an item.

"A gift from someone like you? I will accept it with grace. Then, goodbye, Sir Gown, Sir Ran."

"We wish you luck in your battle."

Going out of the home, Gazef with his soldiers mounted their horses and rode to battle.

"*Sigh* When I first met the humans here, I saw them nothing more than mere insects. Though, with each conversation I have, I grow fonder of them, coming to see them as animals."

Albedo had said, Szrazyn hearing her comment, went to her and gave his opinion on the matter once again.

"Never forget that humans have infinite potential. The only limits they have are that of their imagination."

"Then is that why you promised him your great name, lords?"

"Perhaps."

Ainz was the one who replied to Albedo. While Szrazyn was about to speak to Aurea, the village chief walks up to them with his wife.

"Lord Ainz. Why is the Head Warrior leaving?"

"You know about the men that surround the village, right?"

"Yes, we have seen them."

"Well, their aim is to kill him."

"Th-then what should we do??"

"After planning with Mephet'ran, we have decided that once the ring of soldiers are moved to fight against Gazef, we shall escape through a hole."

The chief and his wife relaxed, leaving the 4 back to their own.

"Aurea."

"Yes, my lord?"

"What do you think of these humans? Primitive? Weak? I wish to know your opinion."

"They are like the humans when I was born. Believing in the superstition of non-living gods and deities that do nothing. They are weak, yes, but if someone were to unite them than maybe they shall have an age beyond this world."

"I see."

* Fields of Carne *

The sound of the steeds thundered through out the field. Gazef gave the plan to his soldiers.

"We shall fight the enemy head on! Breaking the ring around the village and forcing them to follow us far from the village! After that, we shall retreat! Do not miss the timing!"

"Understood!"

"Go forth! Cut open their bowels!"

As they neared the casters, Gazef brought his bow and shot an arrow to the one in front of him but the arrow was destroyed as the caster had a shield. In frustration, Gazef discarded his bow and brought out his sword, screaming a warcry.

The caster brought out his hand and aimed it at Gazef's steed, the steed got on its hind legs which forced Gazef off. One of the soldiers brought his hand out to give the Head Warrior a ride but an Angel came to attack them. In the perfect time, he brought his sword and sliced the angel at its torso.

The cut only got through a thin slice as the sword was being forced out, with all of his strength, Gazef pushed the angel down to the ground only for it to stand back up.

The angel now brought its sword out, preparing for a duel with Gazef.

"I see. Martial Art... "

Gazef's blade then started to glow a bright red as the angel charged him. As Gazef was preparing his strike, he shouted.

"... Focus Battle Aura!"

His strike sliced through the angel, separating its body into two with its remains now vanishing. In front of him were multiple casters with more angels being summoned.

"Anything goes with magic. Bastards. But this is all according to plan. Sir Gown, Sir Ran, I am depending on you to protect the villagers."

Looking to the area his soldiers were running, looking back he could see they were charging back.

"Stay with the Head Warrior!/ Until the very end!/ We're the ones who will protect this country!"

The men shouted their various war cries as many of them charged into the enemy's Angels.

"Ha. These sons of bitches. I told them to retreat once you grab the enemy's attention. You really are idiots, and men I am proud to fight with."

The casters looked behind them and instantly used the same magic which forced Gazef off his steed, in lightning speeds, the soldiers forced off their horses were killed by the angels. Many were thrown off their mounts and now forced to fight the lightning fast angels.

"We're at a military disadvantage."

Looking forward, he saw an angel far armored and armed than the others with a man looking at the battle.

"Then, the one we need to target is the commander!"

Running in the direction of Nigun, Gazef rushed through the battle, several angels rushed in his way.

"You're in the way! Martial Art, Six Fold Slash of Light!"

In an instant, all of the angels were killed. More were summoned against the Head Warrior but his martial arts were enough to destroy them. One by one, his martial arts killed the Angels, from this, Nigun had a few words to say.

"Impressive. To have mastered that many attack skills, thought unfortunately for you, it won't be enough. Summon the next batch of angels, focus all of your magic on striking Stronoff down."

More angels were summoned, Gazef was already breaking sweat as his soldiers were getting fatigue and being overwhelmed from the angels.

In the storehouse of the village were the villagers who hid. With Ainz and Szrazyn there as well if ever an enemy attacked the villagers. Szrazyn and Ainz were whispering to each other in a corner.

"Gazef won't be able to fight the scripture."

"Don't worry, the item I gave him will teleport us to his location."

"I see, the great switcheroo."

Returning to the battle, all of Stronoff's soldiers were now lying on the ground, unconscious or dead. He himself was on his last, getting attacked from every direction. Stronoff let out blood as he gripped his sword in his hands with dozens of angels in the air, prepared to kill him.

Blocking the attacks in front of him, another angel attacked him from behind, slash after slash, the Head Warrior was nearing his end. A strike to the stomach was the thing that forced him to the ground, his eyes were now becoming dull as he looked up seeing the smudge that was Nigun.

"This is pathetic! Finish him off so we can return immediately! However, though, make his death as painful as possible, have multiple angels attack him simultaneously."

From this, Gazef took his sword and forced himself up.

"Do... not, u-underestimate me! I am the kingdom's Head Warrior! I am the who loves his country and protects its people from vermin! There is no way I would lose to scum like you who'd want to dirty this great kingdom!"

"You shall die here precisely because you spout such nonsense and idiocy. Gazef Stronoff, what can you do in such a state? Once we kill you, we will massacre the remaining villagers. Stop this futile attempt at resistance, just lay down and die like the dog you are!"

At this, Gazef laughed, from pure shock, Nigun stuttered.

"Wh-what's so funny?!"

"You fool, there are people in the village far stronger than me!"

"Hah! Just a stupid bluff! Haha! Angels. Kill Stronoff."

At the back of Gazef's mind, he heard Ainz and Szrazyn's voices.

"Seems like the perfect time to switch."

"Indeed it is."

A second later, Gazef was teleported to the storehouse.

"Thi-this is?"

The village chief than walked in front of Gazef and explained to him.

"This is the village storehouse. Lord Ainz has set a magic barrier here with Lord Mephet'ran leaving these 'Sca-Rabs' to protect us."

Looking around, Gazef spotted one of these scarabs on the wall.

"Where are they?"

"Well, they suddenly disappeared and in their place was you."

Immediately, Gazef took out the gift that Ainz gave him before the battle, taking it out, it vanished in thin air whilst on his palm.

"I see. Hehe... Sirs, I trust you shall show those Theocrats a taste of their own medicine."

From severe amounts of blood loss and stress, Stronoff collapsed on the floor.

Now in the place of Gazef were two tall figures, both having armored females as their escorts.

"Who are you?"

"It is good to finally meet you, men of the Sunlit Scripture."

Szrazyn had said, from that, Nigun was shocked that someone knew what scripture they were in.

"Ho-How do you know!"

"I won't tell you but give you a slight hint. Telepathy."

"Tch... Whatever you are. Leave, and I shall allow you to live."

"We have a relationship with this village."

Ainz replied to Nigun's threat.

"Have you come to beg for their lives?"

"No, no. Actually I overheard your conversation between the Head Warrior. Your statement of massacring the villagers once you killed him has offended me and my friend."

"Offensive! Hahaha! Big words, magic caster! So what will you do about it?"

"Offer your lives to us without resistance. If you do so than no pain shall be experienced. However if you refuse? You shall die painfully and agonizingly for your idiocy."

At that, Nigun had had enough and shouted a command.

"Have the angels attack!"

Immediately, several angels rushed to both Szrazyn and Ainz, from the view of Nigun, it looked as if the angels immediately pierced the men's bodies, initially killing them.

"How pathetic! This is what happens when you make stupid bluffs."

Then he looked closer, the angels were struggling to move. Szrazyn had his hand out and moving his hand up made the angels float up.

"Childsplay."

"Thank you, Mephet'ran."

Ainz then focused to Nigun and his soldiers.

"Didn't I tell you to 'Give your lives to us without resistance.' Don't you know to always listen to the warnings of others? Even if my friend here did not stop your weak angels, High Tiered Physical Nullification which stops any low-leveled physical attacks."

With a flick of his wrist, Szrazyn instantly killed the angels as they vanished, Ainz muttered beneath his voice.

"So they really are the Archangel Flames from Yggdrasil."

He then raised his voice.

"I want to know how you all can use the exact same spells and summons from Yggdrasil, thought I shall put that aside for now. Then now it is my time."

"Have all the angels attack at once!"

"Albedo, Aurea. Please stand back."

"Yes/Yes."

Both overseer and guardian replied.

"Negative Burst!"

Then a burst of Ainz' dark aura immediately killed the rest of the low-level angels.

"Impo-impossible!/ He's a demon!/ What in God's name is going on!"

The Sunlit Scripture's many casters had screamed as fear and worry filled their hearts and minds.

"This shouldn't be happening!"

At the back of Nigun's head were the last words that Stronoff left him before he vanished. Out of fear, all of the soldiers casted various magics unto the two undead. The spells were too weak to even pierce the anti-magic shield of the two.

"As I thought, these are spells from Yggdrasil. Who taught you that magic?!"

One of the soldiers who had a slingshot on his arm; fired at Ainz but Albedo instantly got in between the shot and forced it back to hit the man's head as it exploded and left a pool of blood.

"Wha-what happened?"

Nigun had asked, the speed at which Albedo threw back the pebble was so quick that he was unable to comprehend it.

"Albedo, you should know that mere aerial weapons cannot harm me, and if ever a powerful projectile did aim itself to me, Mephet'ran would immediately force it back to the one who shot it."

"Please understand, Lord Ainz, that there is a limit to what is worthy enough to fight you, a Supreme One. To throw such a small and pathetic pebble at you... "

"Hahaha, if you say that then these insects have failed utterly. Right?"

From that, Nigun flinched, out of fear of dying, he commanded the higher level angel beside him.

"Principality of Observation! Attack!"

The giant angel then formed a mace out of thin air and floated in front of its supposed enemies. As it was about to attack, an invisible box formed around it with its strike being blocked by the box's walls.

"Another item to my collection."

As Szrazyn said that, the box turned clock wise and became smaller and smaller until it was nothing but an atom. Sent to 'Storage' where it now lies as another piece of Szrazyn's infinite museum.

"Wha-what the? That's impossible! There's no way a high level angel could be destroyed or whatever you did with a single spell!"

"Captain Nigun! What should we do?"

As if he was struck by lightning, Nigun immediately brought out the crystal that the Head Priest gave him.

"We shall summon the greatest of the Six Gods creation!"

From the sight of the crystal and recalling the War in Heaven, Szrazyn immediately notified his friend.

"Ainz."

"Hm?"

"Behind me. Now!"

"Why? What's the crystal."

"It's a summoning crystal that was used by the Eldar to summon their gods. I do not know how these mortals acquired such an artifact but get behind me now!"

Immediately, Ainz got behind Albedo and Aurea as they were behind Szrazyn.

"Look upon the shining form of the Gods' greatest servant! Eldaria!"

It was majestic, no, it was godly. Eldaria, greatest of the Aeldari Pantheon's gods, never did the Eldar dare to summon Eldaria, for it was foretold in their myths that once Eldaria had awoken, then all of reality itself shall fall to his sway and become his dominion.

From this, Szrazyn twitched, his form becoming eldritch and even ungodly, he fell to his knees, Ainz went to his friend.

"Szrazyn! Are you alright."

Ainz said, worry and fear ever so present in his voice as it nearly gave way under the pressure of the situation.

"RUN! Before I turn this whole world inside and out!"

Immediately grabbing both Aurea and Albedo, Ainz teleported back to the storehouse immediately, at the site of the 3 of them, the chief went to them.

"Lord Ainz? Where is Lord Mephet'ran?"

"Fighting a god."

* Fields of Carne *

"What! You cannot take the form of the greatest creation?!"

Szrazyn was on his knees until a burst of his aura finally broke with a single scream being heard throughout the whole world, the whole galaxy. With a black smoke engulfing the whole region encompassing several thousand acres of land. Many would label this phenomenon as the 'Day of Infinite Darkness.'

Minutes later, the black smoke dissipated but Szrazyn was gone, in his place was a large entity, larger than that of Eldaria. In truth this is but a fraction of Szrazyn's true size but can we really call him Szrazyn anymore?

He is no longer the Silent Emperor of the Necron Empire, he is no longer Szrazyn 'Conqueror of the Milky Way,' 'Emperor of the Immortal Legions,' 'Master of the Stars.' No.

He is now Adul'Voldroth, 'Master of the All-Living,' 'Silent God of the Necrons,' the Architect of Reality. His form is unexplainable for it is impossible to explain something that is incomprehensible to mortal understanding.

"Begone from this third-dimensioned reality, false God!"

Immediately, from the palm of the Architect came a black sphere, shooting it at Eldaria like a bullet going at FTL speeds. Eldaria, with his greatest might, tried to stop the attack of his sworn enemy, the Anathema of all Eldar, the Destroyer who killed the Old Ones, the Beast who mindlessly rampages through reality like a child in a sandpit.

But through all the godly power and might, Eldaria had, he could not beat a being far above any third dimensional god could ever beat.

The form of Eldaria was instantly sucked into the black sphere the Architect shot at him. As the last fragments of Eldaria vanished, the sphere was eaten by the Architect.

Looking down to the humans, he snapped his fingers and their bodies became inside and out, their skin was now gone with their organs hanging from their bodies, instantly they all fell, dying from blood loss.

The Architect laughed, his voice echoed throughout the universe for all to hear the Silent God's joy. With another snap of his fingers, miniature black holes formed a top the humans and sucked them out of existence. The black holes were then vanished, sent to various universes and timelines where they would grow in mass and maybe destroy their respective universes.

Moving to the storehouse, with a flick of his wrist, all humans inside were forced to slumber with their memories of the Architect's form now nothing. As if a force took them, Ainz, Albedo and Aurea were taken out of the storehouse.

"Szrazyn?!"

"I am not Szrazyn anymore. I am... "

"The Architect, also known as the 'Master of All,' the 'Architect of Reality,' and 'He who is Beyond Reality' but your true name is Adul'Voldroth. The last of the great Star Gods. I kneel before you."

Aurea had said, bowing before the form of the last of the Star Gods.

"Haha! It is good to see that there are still servants of mine that live."

"Szrazyn. It is time for us to return."

"You do not command me, Lich. And further more, I am no longer Szrazyn or your friend, Johnathan Irons."

"Ho-How do you know that name?"

"I am a God. I have seen the fiery destruction of thousands of realities, I have seen the silent chilling deaths of thousands of universes. Knowing the history of my host is such a miniscule task to do."

"The-Then send us back. As a last request... "

"Then so be it, Lich. As my final gift to your feeble existence."

Immediately, the three were teleported to Ainz' personal office with Szrazyn no where to be seen.
