"Brother, it seems thou hast gained more levels than I anticipated. But thou hast yet to evolve thine racial class." Doorman said in a satisfied tone.

"Why have I not evolved?"

"Most likely because thou hast gained levels in executioner and fighter, this may have cost thee a few levels in thine racial class." Doorman responded.

The awakened one noticed that it had lost all of its levels in assassin, but gained 9 levels altogether. This was a sacrifice that the awakened one was willing to make, receiving 3 more overall levels for the price of 2.

It also seems that the awakened one automatically gained a few new martial arts and one spell.

"Hmmm.... after coming to this new world, we have gained many martial arts. These one seem to be a step above the rest. Be sure to train these arts, Brother. They will see thee in battle."

"Also, thou hast received a single spell, with thine MP, the use of the spell will be hard, Brother. Be sure to preserve thine MP in battle."

The awakened one expressed an emotion of disappointment, for it had not evolved its racial class. But the skeleton was satisfied in progress further down the road of strength. One thing was always on the skeleton's mind however; how strong was Brother Doorman?

"Brother Doorman, May I have a look at your stats?" The awakened one asked.

"Sure, Brother."

These stats seemed to astound the skeleton. The awakened one thought that Doorman would be much stronger, being one of the strongest in tomb is quite an important title.

"Brother Doorman, why have you not evolved your racial class yet?" The skeleton asked.

"Brother, even though I may look like this, I am not old. I awakened a month ago, the first one to do so. The only thing I had was my will: a sword. I spent the first two weeks of my life studying our heritage; Nazarick. My growth may seem astounding, but so is yours. I will leave thee for now, I must finish my own self improvement."

"By the way Brother, you have been assigned to the Grand Door, Do well in defending it." Doorman said as he left the room.

The skeleton felt a sense of further dissatisfaction in the fact that it was still far from becoming powerful, it still needed to train, to kill.

The satisfaction of gaining just a few levels wasn't enough, it wanted more. It wanted more experience, more power, more skill, more martial arts, more spells, and of course; a name. The awakened one has decided; it will become a true pillar of Nazarick, a pillar that the Supreme Beings and its skeleton brothers can be proud of. The awakened one will bring the Reserve Tomb Of Nazarick eternal glory. No being shall stop it from establishing Nazarick's power, that is the dogma of the awakened one; bring glory to Nazarick.

The awakened one left the blood stained room, not looking back. It is now the time to prove itself in the defence of Nazarick.

The skeleton came across many other skeletons which all seemed to be heading the same direction as it, soon a horde amassed and all the skeletons started to move much more briskly.

"Brothers, why are you all heading to the Great Door?" The awakened one shouted.

"'Workers' are raiding the tomb! We must not let them desecrate the Holy Grounds!" A silver armoured skeleton shouted.

The horde soon reached the door which had already been partially opened. The skeletons rushed through the door to join a medium scale battle against a dozen or so humans.

"I am Skullbane The Head Cracker, as the commanding Brother, I command all brothers to destroy the invaders!" The silver armoured skeleton shouted.

Immediately the horde of 30 skeletons rushed into the fray, reinforcing the already damaged defenders. The awakened one ran to the left side of the frontline, sprinting straight towards a human which had a mace. The human noticed the awakened one and pulled out a shield to defend.

CLANG

The skeleton hit its sword against the shield of the human, cutting into the metal. The human countered the skeleton by preparing to strike back with his own melee attack.

"Martial art: Horizontal Swing!"

The awakened one narrowly dodged the mace, stepping back and resetting its stance.

"Fall to my mace, undead!"

The skeleton decided to test some of its newly obtained martial arts.

"Martial art: Triple slash."

The skeleton raised its sword and launched a diagonal slash, creating a the pronged red shadow which followed the blade and cut right into the human's shield.

"Martial art: Double impale."

The skeleton then proceeded to stab its sword straight through the worker's shield, stabbing into his right shoulder, but also it also created a second wound on the opposite shoulder too. The human was now heavily wounded and could no longer wield his weapons and shield, with that knowledge, the skeleton made its next move.

Rain had started to appear over the battlefield, washing the blood out of the grass. The sound of thunder could also be heard, it was clear that today would be a disaster; for the humans.

"Execute."

SPLAT

The neck of the human burst open, letting a dark red fountain of blood flow from the wound. The human fell to the ground lifeless, unable to ascertain how he just died.

The skeleton fighters gradually thinned out the enemy forces, leaving only 10 remaining workers to fight.

"SHIT! Everyone ret-"

SLASH

the awakened one appeared behind the commander as he turned his back to flee. There was no escape for the enemies of Nazarick, neither is there any mercy.

"THE COMMANDER IS DEAD!"

The screams of the workers fell on deaf ears that night.
