2 [System 101]

Alex looked around, other than trees and bushes there didn't seem to be anything else around. "Where exactly am I?"

Like most people, he didn't like the fact that he was in the middle of the forest during the night. He had seen his fair share of anime with monsters and untill he knew exactly which one he was in he would have to stay on high alert.

"Trees here, there, and there. I better think carefully about which way I go tomorrow. The last thing I need is to miss civilization because I wasn't careful, I also don't want to travel during the night."

He looked up and found the tallest tree that there was, he began climbing it and once he was as high as he could go he tested a branch and sat on it. "If there is any civilization nearby then there should be some lights or fires, if it's a medieval setting"

After having a quick glimpse of his surroundings he found some slight flickers into the distance behind him. They seemed to be roughly 8 or 10 miles away, at least that's what he estimated. "Hades not to be whiny or anything but couldn't you of brought me here during the day? I could probably be there in two or three hours, meaning that I might have been able to sleep in a warm bed. Then again it doesn't seem like I have any money."

He patted the clothes that he was summoned with, they were the ones that he had worn when he died. He had on a black skin-tight shirt, a black and red sweater with two wolf heads making a yin yang symbol, black sweat pants, and black and red running shoes. "Well at least I'll be somewhat warm tonight, or at least I would be if my butt wasn't so damn wet. The dripping isn't much of a problem since my hood makes a pretty good cover. Then there's the number one thing that I have to worry about and that is the fact that I might fall down while I'm sleeping."

Alex thought about removing his sweater and using it to tie himself to the branch, but he decided not to, these clothes were the only thing that he had that connected him to his past there is was no way he would want anything to happen to them. Then there was also the fact that without his sweater he would be pretty cold.

He looked at the vast forest which was illuminated by the moonlight alone and he couldn't help but fall in love with it. As a city kid, he was never able to see such a sight in person. After looking at it for an unknown amount of time he started to drift to sleep, he yawned and was about to lay upside down so that he could hug the branch when a yellow screen appeared in front of him. He smiled and quickly read the words that appeared on the somewhat transparent screen.

-

[[ Hey kiddo sorry it took me a bit of time to get to you but I was busy watching History's Strongest Disciple. Hope that you've had a good time so far, now let me give you a summarization of the system I put together just now. The system will use points to make rolls, from these rolls you will be able to get Skills, Magic, Equipment, Bloodlines, and Summons; they will all be random and will depend solely on your luck. You can equip and unequip these in the slots that were given to you simply by thinking about it. I'll also stick some system upgrades in the rolls when I think of some but the chances of getting them are pretty low so I wasn't really going to tell you about them but might as well right?

You can get the points that you need by doing missions or for some achievements. The catch is that you won't be able to see what they are until you complete them, don't worry though since some are pretty easy to predict. You need 10 points for a regular roll and 100 points for 11. To roll all you have to do is think about the word status and a screen will appear showing your points and everything that you have on you, then think about the word roll and watch the magic happen. Any questions? If you have any then too bad answer them yourself, the system is basic enough if you don't understand, blame yourself for not educating yourself better.

Since this story is pretty crazy I'll give you 30 points to get you started. Remember to keep things interesting. I'm giving you a warning now that if things get too boring I'm going to end up having to add some excitement. I won't always be watching you since I have other things to do so don't be too pressured. Above all else make sure to have fun, don't have the same lame life you had in the past. There's a reason you ended up in the Asphodel Meadows, after all, you good for nothing. Hades out :-) ]]

After reading the message Alex couldn't help but laugh, "I can't believe that Hades is this chill."

He looked up at the sky and gave a thumbs up "Hades from now on you are my favorite god, screw Zeus."

It was highly unlikely that the god of lighting could hear him so he was able to yell it out loud with little fear.

He reread the message a couple of times to make sure that he hadn't missed any important information. When he was sure that he remembered all of it he started to follow the instructions.

Suddenly a big bingo-like wheel with small balls appeared and began spinning, after around 10 seconds a ball came out with a picture of a pale black-haired man. Suddenly the ball split open and a brush with black ink appeared. Then the wheel disappeared while the robotic voice started talking.

[Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll: Magic]

- The technique allows the user to animate objects that are drawn using chakra infused ink. They will jump out of the paper life-sized and follow the user's will. Since the objects are created using ink they will be killed after a blow most of the time. The ones that are not destroyed can be put back into the paper and reused after supplying the drawing with more chakra. Sai, the user of this technique has also been known to use some small beasts to scout, they go back to the paper and become words reporting their situation.

---------------

Alex cheered loudly but he quickly covered his mouth after he remembered where he was. "This is awesome, I need some paper and ink pronto. It'll be a little troublesome carrying them around but it's definitely worth it."

[Reigen Arataka's Suit: Equipment]

- A dark grey business suit that is accompanied with a pink tie and black dressing shoes. This suit had accompanied Arataka throughout his shady exorcism business. Due to his epic moves Salt Splash and the Banishing Salt Punch, the suit can produce salt out of its pockets at the user's will. Any damage done to the suit will be fixed after 12 hours.

---------------

Alex reread the description twice before laughing "Umm okay, at least I don't have to worry about salt ever again and I also have a change of clothes now. That pink tie part kinda ruined it but I can't judge until I've seen it. I'll try it out in the morning when the sun is up.

[Golden Silk Creation: Magic]

- Gives the user the ability to create golden silk from their fingertips. This skill was created by Rou after eating a Golden Spider.

"Just what I needed"

Alex equipped both the drawing magic and the golden silk creation magic. As soon as he equipped them he felt a strange feeling travel through his body. He looked at his hands and found that his fingernails had grown and become somewhat pointy. "Hmm, how am I supposed to create the silk?"

After trying a few times he found out that as all he has to do was slightly tense his hand, when the silk webs came out between his nails and finger, he also had a slight control on the movement of the webs. They were about the same thickness as a pencil, and It was soft but at the same time it was amazingly strong, no matter how hard he tried he couldn't rip it apart. It also wasn't sticky so he could use it for rope if her ever needed it, he also remembered that products made from spider silk were pretty expensive on earth so he might be able to make some money depending on what world he was in.

He created three strands and used them to loosely tie himself to the tree and tree branch, he wanted to make sure to get away quickly if he needed to. Now that he was somewhat fastened to the tree he let out a breath of relief and fell asleep.
