10 Whole Once More

It was a cavern within the dungeon located deep beneath Orario. Within its doors, lay secrets of powers unbound, sparking the desire of gods, mortals alike. Each section of the dungeon, every stone of it remains a mystery towards the residents of this world.

However, to him such was not the case, the residents of this world locked to the imaginary concept of levels, worshipping the masters controlling them. To his current self, who lived through a dystopian world, along with a world were death was a single step, filled with creatures of magic, declaring war towards his unfortunate race.

He was an undead, an abomination of all evil. Necromancy was his art, rousing fear from any and all mortal's heart. Such though wasn't always the case, a weak skeleton he was, unknown to the horrors posed by his resident players, an unlikely hero so changed his destiny, shaping the being he currently is.

Asking about the dungeons, one can easily now the inner psyche of the person. To some the dungeon remains a test of strength, some would consider the dungeon to be the abode of riches, however some would also consider it to be their destiny. To him, the dungeon could be described in one way only,

'A magnificent death trap' he thought reminiscing amusingly, sitting in all his glory on the throne of the supreme one roleplaying as the ruler of one of the largest guilds, the one supreme among 41 others though for whom he cared more than any resident of this world. The chatters of every day life outside remained by memory that he cherished most, eldritch entities whose one look would be enough to destroy any and all feeble resistance placed by these lower beings, despair at the thought of their lives outside.

He pitied them, as he was the same as them. Nazarick became his only escape from his dreadfully empty world.

To him, it was his glory, a past unforgotten till his eventual demise.

The dungeon seems to react, over his change. Each and every cavern seemed to expand rapidly,

Monsters soon emerged from all corners of the dungeon. Their numbers ever increasing,

"They will work well as test dummies"

A large group of goblins jumped at him, unknowing to concept of death, present before them,

['Maximize Magic: Chain Dragon Lightening']

soon the touch of death gripped the goblins without a means to resist turned to monster stones.

Others, eager to attack previously now look warily.

As death moved forward, with each and every step shook the dungeon over and over as if the organic entity felt fear as an existence.

His test was successful, the dungeon can be conquered and he now had the means to it.

After receiving Suzuki's acknowledgement, the overlord decided to set his descent towards the labyrinth of madness which he recalled through the ravings of one such adventurer barely making out of this hellish pit.

As a previous employer of the hostess of fertility, news regarding cultists, madmen and various orthodox subjects that may arouse fear in public if it ever comes out, circulate quite commonly. Many brokers make a business out of it, which in the end boosted its popularity even more.

However, forcing the descent of his fading conscious on his hellhole, had good intentions behind it. The massive amount of mana released, may instantly turn them as one of the enemies of humanity if done outside, the common rabble brainwashed to concepts of good and evil and nothing in between can only measure him with distaste.

Such would be hassle, that he would not want to partake in at least without a strong backer which is a hope almost diminished in his non-existent heart.

Within the dungeon, unshackling his power, came out the true self of this overlord. Within moments, his entire soul overlapped the unwanted intruder, slowly absorbed within itself.

The intruder having no relations previously, ended with soul shattered, a nutrient he consumed happily while Suzuki complete self became completely one with him.

---------------------------

Currently standing outside, he watched adventurers from Orario strongest guilds with large party entering the dungeon. Such large use of power combined with monsters running with their lives in fear outside the dungeon finally forced humanity's strongest to gather together in order to tackle such obstacles, acting as the final bastions of humanity they jumped towards what may end in their demise without any fear of their lives.

Intrigued he covertly decided to follow to see their extent of power, lest he one day falls for ignoring such threat,

Many in Yggdrasil fell before him due to sheer arrogance, his build wasn't the strongest nor was it powerful. Strategy was focus in order to achieve victory, he could have chosen a strong build anytime, however to him, it was having fun that mattered the most and not achieving every small victory.

"boy, did you notice the sudden build up of mana?" a child who stood as the party leader asked suspiciously, as Ainz was oddly looking at their group.

Everyday people don't have access to such high ranking information, otherwise there would be riots in the streets, in worst case the residents might force the inept adventurers in the dangerous dungeon. Its something, people from previous japan would absolutely do,

And so he answered,

"What build up?" innocently he spoke such words, trying his to best to act oblivious to the whole thing.

'Please buy it'

"I am afraid I mistaken you for someone, my apologies" saying so the child returned to his position without glancing back.

'phew, almost blown my cover, glad that bukubukuchagama-san isn't here to scold me for such rookie mistake'

soon they marched along with their allies to whom they trusted their lives, and so the adventurers descended into the volatile dungeon with a fickle of hope to return alive.
