At the massive gates of Roble Kingdom, Eve, in her white dress, was waiting to enter. This time, she had come alone.

She came with several goals in mind, such as a possible alliance formation, and a search for information to know if there are World Items and YGGDRASIL items in this world.

She wanted an alliance with Roble Kingdom, to have something like a foundation. She needs to establish Alpha Prime somehow in this world. Establishing Alpha Prime as a country was a good way to do it, and establishing Alpha Prime by having an ally who accepts her nation as a country is even better. Eve also needs to ask Calca directly about the existence of World Items, as in the entire library of the Sanctuary, and even in Calca's Diary, there was no mention of it. She doesn't know if they really exist in this world, and if they do it's probably a secret, a secret that probably only leaders of nations and organizations knew.

Eve went unaccompanied, as she put all her executives to prepare various countermeasures and plans, and many of them take time to do.

When her turn comes, she stopped in front of the guard. The guard looked different from the last one, looking more relaxed, but she could see a great deal of vigor in his eyes. He doesn't look like your average guard, and Eve wouldn't expect anything less, seeing as the guard from her last visit was easily corrupted by gold coins.

"Identification Card, and reason for the visit."

Eve took out her rookie adventurer card and handed it to the guard. "Answer: I'm a novice adventurer, and I'd like to go to the Adventurer's Guild to see if there are better quests available. My village has very few missions with little pay, so I could only travel and come here, the nearest big city."

She knew that her information as a 'princess from another country' was not disclosed, as Queen Calca promised her. She could tell that Calca was a woman of her word, however much her spirit was shaken because of the country's problems.

He took Eve's Adventurer's card and swiped it in a strange transparent sphere. The sphere glowed blue, and he handed the card back.

"I understand your situation. Lately, it's been getting harder and harder to find good quests. Unfortunately, it's not better here in the capital," the guard sighed. "Paladins take care of almost everything around here. Fortunately, there is manual work adventurers can do, as well as exploring the beast lands beyond the great wall. Well, that last one is far from you, haha! Anyway, you can come in, and don't lose hope, lass."

Eve raised her eyebrows at hearing what the guard said; he seemed very aware of the plight of the adventurer's guild.

"Question: You're not a guard, are you?"

The man smiled and removed a necklace from around his neck. On the collar was a dog tag that appeared to be made of iron, showing that he was actually an adventurer.

"That's right. I am an adventurer. Remember what I said about lacking missions? The guards are understaffed, and they pay well, so here I am. But don't worry, even if the guild is lacking quests, one day you will be able to exchange your childish card for a real and cool dog tag. Anyway, come in, people are waiting in line."

Eve looked at her card, which contained her photo and information, with a teddy bear design, then looked at the man's iron plate. As a junior adventurer, who was not yet a true adventurer, her form of Guild identification was a simple children's card made of a malleable material.

'Nah, I prefer this card to an ugly plate, and I'll stop being an adventurer anyway,' she thought.

Eve entered the city and walked calmly through the streets towards the palace of Calca, which was close to the Sanctuary. She doesn't expect to be able to get in from the front door, so she would probably have to sneak in to meet Calca.

After some time walking the streets, she felt murderous eyes on her, and she immediately became alert, but still pretended to be calm.

Feeling the killer's gaze beneath her, she assumed it was the [Deadly Gaze] skill, a skill used by assassins and fighters. The skill gives some panic and defense debuffs to the target, but she didn't feel anything.

Realizing that there was no debuff on her, she deduced that either their level is too low, or it wasn't really [Death Gaze], but some other skill.

Wanting to know the answer to her question, as well as know why she was being targeted, she slowly moved down a dark and silent alley that was nearby. The moment she entered the alley, hooded shadows moved toward her.

The assassins appeared and immediately surrounded her. She remained still and calm as she looked at each of them.

"Question: May I know who wants to see me dead?"

The hooded assassins looked at each other, and instead of answering, the one closest to her pulled out a dagger and with great speed, stabbed Eve in the ribs.

To the surprise of the assassins, who had expected to hear screams of pain and blood, all they heard was the sound of metal cracking

The assassin looked at his now completely broken dagger with wide eyes and then looks at Eve, who was completely unharmed and staring at him with deadly red eyes.

"Disappointment: I wanted to do it the civilized way, but it seems to be no other way."

Staring into Eve's red eyes, all the assassins were startled like kittens and immediately tried to run away, as they realized that the target was not as easy as described.

As they were about to run away, however, they heard her mutter, "[Electromagnetic Field]"

Instantly, they all fell to the ground with a crash, unable to move.

Eve moved slowly and stopped in front of the assassin who tried to stab her, who was now being squeezed to the floor. She crouched in front of him, and the assassin broke into a cold sweat, regretting trying to stab her.

"Contempt: Surprised? You didn't expect to run away after being so rude, did you?"

All the assassins tried to move using all their strength, but they didn't move a millimeter.

"Mockery: Oh please don't waste your time. The skill [Electromagnetic Field], as the name says, creates an electromagnetic field around me, and everything that involves electromagnetism that is within my reach is completely in my control. Hey, do you know what electromagnetism is?"

As no assassin there could move, or speak, there was no answer.

"Explanation: It would be too complicated to fully explain what it is, and I don't have time for that. Just know that electromagnetism controls magnetism and electricity."

"Sadist: You see, in the human body, there are tiny magnetic fields that stabilize molecules. No one is made of iron, the saying goes, but deep down everyone has a little magnetism. The hundreds of trillions of molecules that make up the human body are actually large sets of magnets. What I mean by that is that as you have no way of resisting it, you are all my puppets as long as you remain inside in my field."

Eve continued, "I want answers, and since I know none of you will answer me, I just need to get the answers out of your mind."

She opened her hand, and electricity began to flow from her palm. The electricity in Eve's palm moved like a ravenous, hungry animal.

Eve placed her hand above the assassin's head, and slowly lowered it. The assassin began thrashing and mumbling desperately, his eyes were streaming with tears and his face was soaked with sweat. He doesn't know what she's going to do, but he's sure she won't be merciful.

He wasn't wrong. Eve wanted to read the assassin's memories using electromagnetism to control the brain's neuro-impulses; the risk of the assassin's brain frying and dying a slow and very painful death is 100%.

The moment Eve put her hand under the man's head, his body shook violently, his eyes went white, and he wanted to scream, but couldn't.

"Bothered: Stop fidgeting so much, I'm trying to concentrate."

Controlling the neural impulses, she scoured the assassin's memories and then found what she wanted. Looking at the assassin's memories, all she could see was a dark, damp place. There was a wall of papers in the place, and one of them was a wanted poster dead or alive with pictures of her, Lily, and Lin. There was a symbol on the paper, probably the symbol of whoever wanted her dead, but the moment she was about to see it, everything went dark.

She removed her hand from the man's head, looked at him, and sighed.

The man was foaming at the mouth, and smoke was pouring from his head, eyes, and ears. The man's brain fried before she got the information she wanted.

'It's really hard to use the electromagnetism without the automatic control from the game, but I'm getting the hang of it. Anyway, I still have four more test subjects.' Eve thought.

She turned to the other assassins on the ground with a small smile on her face. "Playful: Let's see which one of you lasts longer."
