As the conversation between Momonga and Gazef continued, I looked through the window with a smile on my face, wondering what else expected me outside, what else was this world storing for me, the more I thought of it made me giddy, like a child waiting to open his presents.

"Sir Gown," At this, I stopped. Did Momonga say his name was Gown? intriguing. "Sir Alastor, I would like to hire your services,"

"Hard pass," I answered.

"As my friend has said… we would like to decline your offer," Momonga said in an amused tone, probably at my answer.

"What about your summons… can we borrow that?" Gazed pressed.

"No," Momonga shook his head.

"And if I invoked royal law and forcefully drafted you?" At this I laughed, I plain out laughed.

"That's adorable, isn't he adorable?" I asked Momonga, "Well, not that I am not enjoying this… show, believe I am, the comedy is top-notch, but unfortunately, I have things to do… places to see," people to kill, "So au revoir," forcefully draft me… that's just too cute.

As I made my way to the door with Sebas close behind, I heard Momonga laugh, as he said, "Well, as my friend said… that's not gonna happen, it would be a very foolish choice on your part."

With a smile, I opened the door and walked out of the house, and immediately took to the skies with Sebas by my side, "Let's take a closer look at those… invaders shall we?"

"Understood, Alastor-sama," Sebas nodded.

From above, I saw as the "strongest man" in the kingdom brandished his blade, charging at the… holy mages, his technique was good enough to harm a low-level angel summon, but not enough to kill him, though I was sure that on one on one combat, he was sure to win against low-level angels, eventually, but his troops? Not so much, meaning he would never have the time to actually win this fight, how sad, "Things are about to get interesting," I grinned, looking at the fight.

Taking a hit, the captain fell from his horse, coughing a bit of blood as he shouted, "Charge!" and even then his attitude hadn't changed, I have to admit… it's worthy of applause, "Charge! For the kingdom!"

Too bad he wasn't properly equipped if he was… maybe he would have a chance against this force, unfortunately, the weapon he had was not very effective against angels, oh well, too bad for him.

"Take this!" Gazef shouted, his stance changing, immediately I realized he was gathering power, magic? No, it was something else, something more simple, physical energy… yes, it feels like that, taking a closer look, I saw how his blade started to glow faintly as he was transferring his energy to it, and when he was done, he took a step forward and with a quick movement of his blade, he sliced an angel in two, killing it… good for him.

By now half of his men were dead, and the ones still alive were still fighting fiercely. It is funny really how some humans are worthy of praise and others are worthy of damnation, life truly works in mysterious ways. Taking a quick breath, I focused on the battle once again, seeing how he struggled to reach the holy mages in the back.

"As many as you got, bring 'em on! Your angels are nothing, you bastards!" Gazef roared with determination, he was trying to buy some time. Well, this has been fun but it is my turn now.

Landing in front of Gazef, I grinned at the mages, while tapping Gazef on the shoulder, "Time to switch places," with a quick spell, I teleported him and the rest of his soldiers, the ones still alive back to the village.

"I don't know who you are… but you are making a big mistake!" The leader shouted, "If you think mocking our holy angels with those wings will get you any favors… you are sorely mistaken."

At this, Sebas started to tremble in sheer anger, "You dare to compare Alastor-sama to those inferior creatures!"

"Stop," I ordered, and Sebas bowed in response.

"Now tell me where Gazef is, and I will show you mercy child," Mercy, well this is getting interesting.

"I wonder… how long will that bravado last, when you realize how powerless you truly are," I sighed, with a grin, after all, it was time to play.

"You insolent brat! I am blessed by the holiness of the gods! I will not stand by! While I am insulted by a brat playing pretend!" Blessed, I don't remember blessing him, wow… Where did that come from?

"Hilarious," I smiled.

"Die!" With a move of his hand, he ordered his troops to attack me.

"Holy Dominion," I muttered a spell with no offensive properties, but very useful against holy mages. The use of this spell was simple, to erase the existence of other angels within my dominion, op right? Well not so much, if the summoner is higher level than me, I can't erase his summons, and if the angel is a player I can't erase him, so… this only works with summons and only if I out level the summoner.

As soon as those words left my mouth, every angel in the field dissipated into nothingness, "I-i-impossible!" the previously confident leader shouted.

"Improbable… maybe? but not impossible," I chuckled, "So… Now what big guy? Do you have anything else to show me?"

Taking a few steps back, the man took an item out, a summoning crystal but as he tried to summon whatever was inside the crystal, my dominion took hold and erased the creature out of existence before it even had the chance to exist, "What… why isn't this working!" the man shouted in fear.

"It worked, it's just that… your summon already died," I chuckled.

"You… what are you!" The man shouted.

"I am the one who rules the heavens, the God of Nazarick," I replied, "Now bow," at this, I spread my wings, for… dramatic purposes.

What I didn't expect was the man to actually bow, alongside his followers, "I… you are a god, one of light… how could I be so blind!"

"Disgusting," I hissed, that was all… all their resolve, shattered with a few words, pathetic, disgusting, unforgivable, they need to repent, "Pierce the heavens with your light, smite!" with a growl, I brought down the wrath of the heavens, vaporizing the group with a single spell that encased the entire area with holy light.

When the smoke cleared, and nothing but the smell of burning flesh remained from my victims, I stood still… wondering why I had gotten so angry, to begin with, for a moment there I felt my blood boil at their responses, perhaps I should study my situation more, whatever it is… it probably has something to do with me being a God.
