35 SHIKAKU NARA
Where should i begin with? My name is Shikaku Nara, the 15th Generation head of Nara Clan of Konohagakure. We joined Konohagakure during its establishment. Since then our Nara family has been the official Jonin commanders and Chief strategists of the village. We are famed throughout the elemental nations for our high intelligent quotient and Shadow Manipulation technique. We Nara clan are normally peace loving people. We rather spend our time in our family grounds playing with the deers, than competing with someone for a moment of glory. We are also well versed in medicine and our family has a huge collection in Medicine Encyclopedia. My own IQ results are 243 which is the highest recorded value so far in our family. I became the head of the Nara family after my father passed away. From that day on, i had to bid goodbye to my leisure life, as i have to be the Commander of the village forces.
The amount of paperwork, i have to through is more than what Hokage sama goes through. As i will be filtering all the trash away and will only be forward the main papers to Hokage sama. But he still complains about the amount of paperwork. Seriously if he just concentrated on paperwork rather than that satanic yellow book of Jiraiya sama, my life would have been even much easier. Then there is that power hungry Advisors. Hokage sama gave them a lot of freedom and they almost made us Shinobi family lose our power in the konoha council. Especially that Danzo. He has his own forces called "Root" and i had advised Hokage sama numerous times, that it will be troublesome to let a man like him with so much power. Only Fugaku Uchiha opposes Danzo frequently, which at least made Danzo stay low key.
Speaking of Fugaku Uchiha, he is the first of our generation to become a father and that too twins. Itachi and Ichika. There have been numerous news circulating entire Konoha when Itachi turned 3 years old. A genius who works hard and trains his friends too. I think, that's the time when all the other clans became more strict towards their clan members training too. The competitive nature between the clan members only yielded better results for our village as all of them trained hard. Almost all of them ignored the second child Ichika, the "blind" daughter of Fugaku. How wrong we were? If Itachi is a genius, then this girl can only be described as a Goddess. She has been the center of all the storm for the past decade.
During third shinobi world war, she single handedly brought victory to our village against Iwagakure and Sunagakure. She also helped cure Daimyo of mind controlling drugs and also providing enough information and evidences of all the corrupt officials in his court. This news was only revealed to us when all the corrupt officials were caught, earning her the only SSS mission for the last 2 decades. She was soon appointed as a Royal princess and Hokage Sama gave her full permission to negotiate with Wind and Earth Daimyo's. Only me and Hokage sama know about this, i initially rejected thinking that as a child she will mess up the negotiations. Oh, how wrong i was. She was able to solve the long time enmity between the villages and laid strong foundations for the alliance between the villages, which only strengthened the relations as time passed by. She is officially the strongest person both in terms of power and strength after this display.
The first time i saw her was during the council meetings. I must say, i will never forget the incidents that happened on that day. Civilian council, who has been hoarding power from our shinobi council, was totally swept away by her. Now they are just restricted to the welfare of the civilians only. As for the advisors, she had enough proof and evidences that they can't refute it. Even the sly fox Danzo was caught unaware. Every crime of his warranted a execution. To kill his comrade and village hero Kagami Uchiha, just for his eyes, despicable, truly despicable. He escaped from the village afterwards.
Then the changes to the village ninja education system and the way she solved the problem regarding the funds was unique. Her system, was followed and copied by all the villages. The number of Graduate and strong ninjas increased by 50 times after this. When it came time to choose the fourth Hokage, she selected Minato Namikaze. Which came as a surprise to us all. Even Fugaku supported her decision. Then her governorship of Naha state. Despite its size, it was a backward state in the country. But now it is the most prosperous state not only in the country, but on the continent itself. Then the construction of University of Fire. I went there during the opening ceremony. The speech she delivered for unity and peace moved most of us, she totally won my respect after that.
Everytime we came across dangerous S rank missions, we would inform her and her success rate is always 100%. The number S ranks missions she did easily passed 100 mark. When the Fourth Hokage Minato was injured by the Akatsuki ambush, almost all of them gave up after seeing his condition. Even i can tell his condition is beyond saving. But she did the impossible possible. She cured his fractured soul and body completely. When Minato was forced to rest for 6 years, she became our unanimous choice for Hokage. With her accomplishments and character, if she can't become a Hokage, then i doubt anyone would.
After becoming Hokage, she personally went to visit Raikage A in Kumogakure. We received reports from Shisui, that both Danzo and Orochimaru who tried to ambush her, were killed by her personally. The entire Shinobi council celebrated that day, as it is always a threat for the village with these 2 bastards running around freely. Then after a month came the news of all the major villages and countries forming a coalition to counter the invasion from Barbarian continent. From that day onwards i regretted for being born as a Nara.
I was selected as the chief strategist of the joint army. Till that day i only have to read reports from only Konoha and adjust the forces according to the data. But now, the number of reports piling my office table easily surpasses my height and they are not showing any signs of decreasing, even after battling with them for a whole day. At least i have a very good assistant in Mabui san, otherwise i would have died from workload. Then came the major shock of my life, during a certain meeting with Ichika Hime. A single person arrived before Konoha gates and started emitting his chakra. I am not a sensor, but even i can sense the chakra of this person is so dark and dangerous. Just the aura alone made most of lose our consciousness. But Ichika Hime was the calmest of all of us, as though she expected his arrival.
"Oh, He is here quicker than i thought. I better go entertain him, before any other ninjas do something foolish and lose their lives."- Ichika
"Hime Sama, who is this person?"- Shikaku
"Madara Uchiha, the Ghost of Konohagakure"- Ichika
With that said, she vanished from the office. As for me, my brain short circuited after hearing the name Madara Uchiha. Which Ninja on this continent doesn't know or heard his name? He is the reincarnation of destruction and darkness. Only after a few minutes did i came to my senses and i noticed Hime sama was gone. She is the light of our shinobi continent, like i will let her die by this vile person hands. I immediately gathered Inochi, C san the 2 sensors and a 100 strong jonin of various villages and reached the village gates. But i was stopped by Fugaku san,much to my Shock.
"Fugaku san, why are you stopping us? Do you know who that person is? Madara Uchiha. He will kill her if we don't help her. Please move out of the way"- Shikaku
As soon as i said Madara Uchiha, all the Ninjas were shocked and few even fainted.
"Orders from the supreme commander Shikaku san, that we are not to disturb her fight. We can only believe in her and wait for her here."- Fugaku
"Fugaku san, she is your daughter. Don't you know how strong that Madara is? Only if we all pool our strength together can we defeat him."- Shikaku
"Shikaku san. She is my daughter, that's why i understand her more than anyone present here. Did she ever make a wrong move before? So believe in her strength"- Fugaku
Damnit. Even if the situation is the worst of all, but i have to agree that he is right. She never made a wrong decision. She more than anyone knew, what does fighting Madara means. If she loses, it will be the end of us all.
"Fugaku san. At least let us observe her fight. We will watch the fight from a distance with the help of a sensor. With the help of a sensor i may find some useful strategies for the future. I promise you i will never interfere"- Shikaku

I am a high jonin and yet i can't even grasp a single move accurately. But what followed the Kenjutsu and Taijutsu battle is Ninjutsu fight. Which questioned our common sense. Every elemental attack was devastating. The surrounding landscape of the valley totally changed after just a few moves. What followed next almost made us run for our lives. That bastard Madara summoned a gigantic meteorite from the space. I bet half of the citizens in Land of Fire can see it falling down. If it were to land at the valley, it would easily destroy a major part of the country. Then Ichika Hime summoned a huge chakra construct just like Madara Susanoo and reduced the meteorite to dust. Yes that gigantic meteorite was reduced to dust in a single attack. Just to make sure i am not dreaming, i pinched a nearby Jonin so hard, his screams confirmed me that this fight is real. Soon the fight ended with Madara promising to fight again next week. Seriously, one fight already scared us almost to death and you want to fight again next week? How much free time did you have on your hands Madara sama? But we were all wrong. These two monsters kept on fighting every week after that.
During the next 4 years almost all the villages ninjas teamwork increased a lot and so is mission success rate. We were able to built 2 forts in Both Kumogakure and Kirigakure. The one in Kirigakure can host upto 2 million ninjas, While the one in Kumogakure upto 3 millions. The entire coastal area of the continent was rigged with explosive tags. As for training the Ninjas are going through, i can only pray for them. Granny Naori, Lady Chiyo, Aito Yotsuki and Hiruzen sama, who volunteered himself to train the young ones. They are all completely devils and competed among themselves while training the ninjas. For the first time i was glad, i am a Nara and struck to office work only. As ordered from Ichika hime, all the ninjas were drilled to the bone without mercy during their off days away from missions. Which forced most of them to pick as many missions as possible to escape from the clutches from these old devils. I am happy though, as all these missions ended up as funds for us.
Land of Frost and Land of Hot water citizens were successfully moved to Konohagakure and Iwagakure 2 years ago. By now, they were all settled comfortably. 20 million strong civilians were selected and some volunteered themselves for the war. They are called Red bull division. All of these 20 million soldiers are personally trained by Hime sama. with the help of her clones she placed Chakra absorption sealing technique on their bodies. Unlike us Ninja they don't need to absorb chakra. The sealing technique automatically absorbs the chakra from the air and nourishes their body. Their training was even harder than us ninjas. But because of the sealing technique, their bodies only kept on getting stronger with each passing day. But they are purely restricted to only physical aspect of the battle. They are trained in taijutsu, Archery and kenjutsu. Almost all of these Red Bull division are chunin rank. They will be our surprise troops during the battle. After Hime sama training them personally, none us will doubt their capabilities. 10 Million are stationed at the coast with the ninjas, while the other 10 million are instructed to protect the civilians from aerial attacks. Just like all the ninjas, they were also equipped well.
Even the civilians are also trained to calmly move in order towards the safety bunkers that are built across all the continent. Food and medicine were already stocked to take care of them in the bunkers.
During this time the sealing division which is temporarily trained by Hime sama before the war made great improvements. With their help all the ninjas were now equipped with Barrier Talisman Tags, which will automatically protect the user from fatal attacks even from a high jonin attacks. The two forts and all the major villages were also protected by improved version of sealing barriers. Huge quantities of explosive tags of all kinds were manufactured daily and sent to the front lines.
As for the jinchuriki training, due to the efforts of Killer B san, all of them gained full control of their bijuu. The three tails beast Isobu was captured by the Akatsuki though. Now they are another trump card during the invasion. While i was lost in my thoughts, the whole headquarters started to shake again, seriously when do they get tired of it.
Yes, Madara and Ichika Hime are still having their weekly exchange. First it was valley of the End, second they fought at the desert in Sunagakure, Third Valley of Hell. All of these places changed beyond their recognition. When the headquarters was built in Kumogakure, their battle zone also shifted here. Now they are fighting on the ocean weekly. At first everyone were shocked from seeing these two monsters fight, but after seeing them battling for every week for the last 4 years, everyone came to accept the reality. Their battles even gave insights to most of the ninjas who are lucky enough to catch their movements.
Sigh i only wish i have a proper retirement time after the war is finished. I am totally tired with this paperwork.
