17 CLEANSING

It's been nearly 2 months since the battle at Tenchi Bridge finished. Since the war concluded at this border, most of the forces are moved to the other borders. Only 10000 soldiers are staying with me here to protect the borders and look after the captives. 5000 soldiers are regular border security, while the remaining 5000 are Uchiha clan soldiers who stayed because of father and me. It's after one week of defeating Onoki, that i got a personal letter from Hokage sama, he praised me for bringing an end to the war and saving almost all of the soldiers. He also gave me full permission to deal with the captive enemy forces. He also mentioned about my appointment as Honorary Royal Princess. The title will give me enough strength to clean the Konoha of it's scum.I reported back to Hokage Sama to keep my status as secret until i get back to Konoha. One month after i stationed here, the Third Shinobi World war came to end.

Third Raikage, was ambushed by 10000 Iwagakure forces and he had to stay back and fight, so as to let his allies escape from the ambush. He died after fighting for 3 days and 3 nights. That is a death worthy of a Hero. Soon after Raikage death, kumogakure withdrew from the war. Third Raikage son Ai became the fourth Raikage.

Kirigakure also suddenly retreated from the war, as their Third Mizukage was killed by the Kaguya clan members and the Fourth Mizukage Yagura, started a bloodline purge,which made the country descend into madness and isolated from the other world.

Since Iwagakure and Sunagakure were already captured by us, Konoha literally survived a disaster. When the news reached Konoha, it was a full 3 days celebrations. I also received letters from certain council members to bring the heads of Oniki, Rasa and their forces to Konoha to extract revenge for the dead soldiers of Konoha.Let's just say i ignored them all. But some of the councilors had the audacity to visit the borders and ordered the soldiers to kill the enemy, but i just sent them packing away without even checking their faces. Seriously, are these guys so stupid, that they want to establish an eternal rivals for konoha forever.

As to why i stationed here, i am the only one who can remove the seals placed on the captured enemy forces. Also i am waiting for the Daimyo's of Earth and Wind to start negotiations. Also for the past month, i started placing a few strong barrier formations along the borders and can only be accessed by a special token i created. With this barrier, Konoha can be free from any attacks in the future. As for Onoki and Rasa, they didn't cause us any trouble and waiting for the arrival of their Daimyo's.

2 weeks after the war finished, Orochimaru was caught red handed performing inhumane experiments in his lab by Hokage himself, but he was somehow able to escape him and now is declared as a S class missing nin on Bingo Book.

But during the past 2 months, i almost fought on regular basis with onoki, whenever he recovered from Chakra exhaustion. Let's say he never won a single match against me. Rasa also joined some fights, but the results are the same. Instead of treating the capture soldiers badly, i treated them with better treatment than they expected. Most of the soldiers became friends with them. Itachi and Shisui also fought with Kitsuchi. There would be lot of sparring matches daily for our entertainment. As for my father, he was happy with me handling the things and never interfere with what i did.

The negotiations with the Daimyo's was simple. They were uncomfortable at first during the meeting as they are the losing side. But i treated them with enough respect and calmed their fears. They were ready to pay any amount of ransom, for their soldiers release. They even suggested to cease some of their lands to us. But i declined them all and just asked for some monetary compensation and an alliance. After they heard me, they look disbelieved at first but soon came to their senses. We came to an agreement regarding lot of trade and military agreements, which are beneficial to all of us. The Daimyo's even gave me permission to visit their lands. They stayed at the borders for 2 days and moved to Land of Iron to meet up with Daimyo of Land of Fire to further cement our alliance. Onoki was still mad at losing to me, but he left on a rather good note. He even gave me some of the jutsu scrolls and said he will train harder to defeat me in the future. We all parted on good terms for enemies who wanted to kill each other just 2 months back. I sent a detailed copy of the negotiations to both Fire Daimyo and Hokage.

As to why I declined huge compensations and lands during the negotiations, there are 2 reasons. First, because of the war, Konoha got some serious casualties and are low in numbers. We can't move the remaining soldiers to the enemy lands where the resistance will be fierce from the locals and it will only further escalate the things. This will only invite another war from Iwagakure to reclaim their lost lands. If we ask for huge compensations, they will only feel insulted.

second, Konoha badly needed this alliance. We are always targeted by other Hidden villages and hope this will put an end to it. With Iwagakure, Sunagakure and Konohagakure in alliance, it will keep Kumogakure in check. This alliance will at least help keep the peace on Shinobi Continent for a long while.

We arrived in Konoha after a week long journey to a heroes welcome, we were received by the Hokage himself and some rather frustrated and angry glares from some of the councilors. They wanted us to directly head to council meeting, but i thoroughly declined saying that we are tired and meeting can be only held tomorrow. That night, the entire Uchiha District and Konoha was filled with joy and celebrations.

The next day me and father arrived at the council meeting. It was a huge room that can easily accommodate upto 300 people. The council was divided into Shinobi council and civilian council. It is clear from how they look at each other, that they don't welcome each other presence. Hokage was seated in the middle of the room and his advisors to his left. On the right are various shinobi clan heads. Yamanaka, Nara, Aburame, Inuzuka, Hyuuga, Akimichi etc. Father took his seat as Uchiha clan head. While i moved behind father's side.

As soon as we were seated, we were assaulted by all type of questions and abuse from the civilian council for the "poor" negotiations. Just as things started to escalate, Hokage did something that instantly shut up all the council members.

"Princess Ichika Uchiha, since you are already present here and as the highest ranking person in the room, i ask you take over the council proceedings." - Hiruzen

Almost pin drop silence filled the room, before another outbreak happened in the council, as to why i am addressed as a princess and why a brat like me had to take over the council proceedings. It invited another ear bursting roar from Hokage, before revealing my status as a Princess and Konoha representative of Fire Daimyo. As soon as Hokage finished, all the Shinobi clan heads bowed to me, icluding the reluctant old advisors. After things calmed down, i walk to the center of the council room and faced the civilian councilors.

"Iam thoroughly disappointed with the way things are running in the Konoha Council room and the way most of the councillors misuse their power. Konoha was a militaristic village to begin with and the majority of the voice should be from the various Ninja clan heads, but why are you civilian council overstepping your boundaries. You are only selected to inform us any problems regarding civilian matters. But you guys are involving yourselves more and more in Military affairs." - Ichika

I looked around the council room to see if there will be any objections. Yes, one old hag raised her voice.

"Hime sama, the civilians are as much a citizens of konoha as the Ninjas are. So they have right to involve in Konoha safety matters."- Koharu

She is another one of the so called Advisors, Koharu Utatane. She is one of those who encouraged more power to civilian councilors.

"May i know who you are?"- Ichika

She was pissed, because as a advisor, she is easily one of the recognisable faces in Konoha.

"Hime sama, i am one of the advisors to the Hokage" - Koharu

"Advisors, who are the other advisors to Hokage then?" - Ichika

Everyone started to look at me weirdly, as i don't even know about the famous advisors of Hokage. A certain mummy guy and glasses relic, answered as if their pride is stepped on.

"Homura Mitokado" - Homura

"Danzo Shimura " - Danzo

I gave a simple look at them, before turning to the Hokage and Shinobi clan Heads.

"Hokage sama, correct me if i am wrong. When this Village Konohagakure was founded by our ancestors, it is clearly stated that only the members of the great noble clans of Konoha are eligible for the position of Advisor. AS for you guys, you were only temporarily appointed as advisors during the second shinobi world war because of lack of personal, but you guys somehow cemented your place as original advisors taking the right from all the ninja clan heads. "- Ichika

Silence, all the advisors are silent. It's like cat of the bag. Even the various clan heads started to stare at them with venomous eyes, as they also suffered at the hands of these so called "advisors".

"Now. As for the civilian council involving with the Konoha safety matters, Fire Daimyo clearly stated when he agreed with our ancestors, that he is expecting a pure military village to strengthen the country. He never mentioned anything about civilians involving with the ruling of the konoha. It's completely up to us ninjas to look after any matters regarding the village. It's only during the Third Hokage reign, with the help of these so called advisors, that you started getting involved in every village matter."- Ichika.

After a few moments of silence, i tossed a huge storage scroll to Shikaku Nara.

"For the past year, i started to collect some useful information for this meeting, i guess you all also will be interested to know these things. Hokage Sama, before that can you please call for more T&I members to the meeting. I also expect Inoichi san will be busy for a while to verify certain claims of mine."- Ichika.

Hokage sama ordered one of the ANBU to bring in more T&I members, we had to wait for 15 minutes before Shikaku Nara started reading from the files.

"Arata Sato . Offence against the village , Forgery, impersonation and cheating.

Daichi Takahashi. Offence against the village, illegal sale of ninja weapons and murder.

Hachiro Ito . offence against the village, Selling banned and dangerous drugs to civilians and ninja alike.

Hotaka Sasaki. Offence against the village, public order offence, oppressing other civilians because of being civilian councilor.

Ken Shimuzu, offence against the village, commerce, Financial matters and Insolvency.

Kichiro Ishikawa. Offence against the village, offence against public morals and public policy.

Minoru Ogawa. Offence against the village, conspiracy, incitement and attempt to commit crime.

Homura Mitokado. Offence against the village, r*ape, murder, misuse of Konoha funds, sabotaging important Ninja missions .

Koharu Utatane. Offence against the village, murders, threats, kidnapping, forcing young girls into prostitution, sabotaging important Ninja mission, illegal possession of private armed mercenaries, robberies and misuse of Konoha funds.

Danzo Shimura. Offence against the village. Attempting to kill Hokage, Colluding with Village S rank criminal Orochimaru, by covering up his actions. Kidnapping and supplying him innocent villagers and Ninjas to perform his inhumane experiments. Authorising unsanctioned missions in Hokage name, forgery, Kidnapping children from prominent clans, trying to collaborate with Amegakure Leader Hanzo to kill Sannin Jiraiya former student. Killing former fellow student and Village Hero Kagami Uchiha for his Mangekyo Sharingan, Sabotaging various Uchiha clan members missions, stealing First Hokage Hashirama Senju cells and performing unauthorised experiment on your own self. " - Shikaku Nara.

With every name mentioned, there is a chronological order of all their offences in detail with evidences to back them up, all those civilian council members whose names were called are starting to shake in fear as they have no way to refute the claims, when the evidences are so clear for all those present. The most surprising of all those are the advisors, till yesterday there are the most powerful people in the village, but now they are the traitors of the village. Especially Danzo, any one of the crimes is enough to declare him to death sentence.

Soon the T&I department and ANBU started to arrest all those people mentioned in the files and dragged them over to the Interrogation department Headquarters. Same for Koharu and Homura, they squealed like pigs that are about to be butchered. When they were about to arrest Danzo, he went up in a cloud of smoke. He sent a shadow clone to the meeting. Hokage was furious when he came to know all the crimes done by his so called friends, he immediately issued a search and arrest warrant for Danzo and to capture him either dead or alive. Because of the number of details and evidences i collected for each and every member, it took almost an entire day to round up all the things and arrest all the accomplices of the council members and seize their properties. By the time, we were heading home, the way, they looked at me changed from respect to worship. Because we were short of time, we are to meet again tomorrow, to fill up various vacant council positions and set up some new rules.
