11 The breakthrough

The day was rather eventful to say the least, he had told Mio to pick him up at the cake shop not far away from the station. Which allowed Takeo not only to walk with the group but spend some quality time with them at the cake shop and talking about life and what not. To tell you the truth it felt liberating in a way, He had been so focused on the future, planning my next move like a chest master that he forgot the one thing which he needed the most. And that was to enjoy the moment and be free like the wind, true the girls at home keep him on my toes and do bring me a lot of happiness, but he must also strive for it himself.

Believe or not talking to Erika about magic and swordsmanship did help Takeo think of a group of magic that involves swords, again they are based on the samurai sabre techniques from the anime Naruto. Those techniques were simple yet deadly, they're only requirements was chakra manipulation and control. In this world chakra can be substituted for Psion which in turn opened a brand new door for him, he retreated to my office immediately when he returned home and even skipped diner in order to work on this project. By 3 am Takeo had finally completed his objective, but only managed to create a few of them while some of the others were not stable enough and could backfire and injure the caster according to Kimiko after she gave them a quick review.

Takeo was thinking of showing them to Erika tomorrow but rejected the idea almost immediately, sighing he called Kana in to help him on this matter, after a few minutes Kana walked in the room in her pajamas holding a tablet in her hands. "kana sorry for calling you so late but i'm in a bit of a jam." Sliding the laptop on the table for her to see he once again began speaking "I created these magic based on the Chiba family's concept, but the thing is i am not a swordsman and will not be able to unleash their potential. What should i do in this situation?" After going over them for a bit, she looked up at him and said "These are close to mid range magics, even though they are very easy to use they would still require one with extensive swordsmanship to use effectively. My solution would be to use the defective subjects currently in the lab brainwash them to focus only swordsmanship techniques and having them master these."

The defective subjects n the lab were the first pair of siblings created using Flash cloning, thought it was a success and that they didn't suffer any of the symptoms those who were flash clone would have been subjected to, still an unforeseen circumstance did happen. They are unable to use long-ranged magic to great effect, the reason why they have such trouble with using long-range magic is because they're body heavily attracts Psions into itself, which makes it hard to send them no further than a few feet, according to rumors a member of the Tomitsuka clan who are part of the hundred families also has this issue but in his case he cannot send his Psion outwards at all which earned him the name "Range Zero."

Takeo's eyes widen in surprise after all he had completely forgot about them, those two were combat ready, they were the first group created using the flash cloning process. Even though they could be considered defective he could not bring himself to have them euthanized like some kind of sick animal. instead he had them kept on ice in a Cryostasis Chamber, Kana had accurately deduced that they would be perfect for these newly created magics. Nodding his head at her Takeo said "Ok have them be brainwashed once more and taught these, also use the Shinmei-ryū sword style and the Kyousen Ryu taijutsu style before being activated."

Kana nodded before replying "Sir the Kyousen Ryu style has already been taught to them, the only thing left is the Shinmei-ryū sword style. And since they were already in peak form before being put in cryostasis, they should be combat ready by this afternoon sir." Takeo smilled and said thank you before dismissing her for the night, he made his was towards his room and turned in for the night.

After arriving at school the next day, he immediately made a beeline for class 1-E on his way there many students kept on looking at him weirdly. He was so focused on his task that he didn't even noticed them, when he opened the door, the whole class went quiet and every eyes were fixated on him. Some girls were drooling and admiring his good looks, some were in dreamland imagining they were married, so on and so forth. He looked around and noticed the pair of rebels locked in an argument once again, AND Mizuki struggling to separate them smiling he made his way towards them in a hurried pace.

"So having a couples quarrel so early in the morning? Geez Leo you do know that makes you look like a shitty husband right?" At his words the two stopped and turned to him with equally black lines on their faces beofre pointing at each other and saying at the same time. "WE ARE NOT A COUPLE I HATE HIS/HER" before turning to each other and accusing one another of being a copycat before staring at each other silently, smiling at their actions Takeo said once again "Look how cute you can even communicated telepathically with each other. At this Erika turned to him with an angry look on her face and asked "Why are you here anyways aren't suppose to be on the other side of the building?" Shrugging at her less than friendly tone Takeo responded in a carefree manner "I'm actually here for the both of you." he said pointing at the two of them which really caught them by surprise as they stared at him with shocked expression. "What are you doing after school today? "

Erika was confused for a second before saying "Not much really we were going to the cafe after school and than home, why what's up?" Smiling Takeo said i'm inviting you to my house, specially you Chiba i have something to show you and i promise you will like it very much." Erika grinned in a mischievous manner before replying using a exaggerated high class manner "Oh-Ho don't tell you have fallen in love with me so suddenly Takeo, i will have let you know i ain't that easy to get" Staring at her with a dumbfounded expression on his face, Takeo turned to Leo and said in a serious manner "Dude i feel bad for you, your wife is so bold to flirt with another man in public and in front of her husband no less" Both Leo and Erika blew up at him in a really loud voice that caused everyone to turned and loo in their direction "WE ARE NOT A COUPLE AND I HATE HIS/HER GUTS" at their action the entire class broke out in laughter, even Mizuki was giggling which in turned caused the two hot heads to go red in embarrassment.

After that Erika reluctantly said "Fine we will go, just stop bothering me already" Leo on the other hand crossed his arms and nodded his head, seeing this Takeo turned and looked at Mizuki who was still giggling and said "You are welcomed to Mizuki, beside God knows i'm a need some help with these two hotheads" Takeo pointed at both Erika and Leo who were now staring at him with an angry expression on their faces, Mizuki looked at them and then back at Takeo before nodding her head shyly. After another round of teasing where Leo asked if he could bring another friend, to which Takeo agreed to and told him he will invite the others too before making his way out the room and on the way out he passed a boy with an athletic and sturdy body which measures 175cm tall with a piercing gaze, and could considered rather plain but his face had an unyielding stoic countenance on it.

He stopped and stared at him, they exchanged a quick glance at each other before Takeo left. On the way to his class Takeo remembered that he has seen him before on the first day of class. Shaking his head he pushed it further in the back if his mind. He arrived in class and as he made way to his seat he stopped by Honoka and Shizuku's desk, and noticed they were happily chatting with the freshman representative Shiba Miyuki. Upon noticing him they stopped and greeted him Shiba also did the same while introducing herself in a polite manner, Takeo also did the same seemingly unaffected by her beauty, after all he was surrounded by world class beauties at home that were either on par or above hers. And besides she was only a child in his mind which caused him to feel even less attraction towards her.

"Hey guys i was wondering if you would be interested in coming over my house later, i just invited Leo, Erika and Mizuki. Apparently they asked if they could bring someone else to which i agreed to, so you guy are ok with that or did already have other plans for the evening?' Shizuku and Honoka Looked at each for a quick other for a quick second before turning towards Shiba and then to Takeo before asking "Can we bring one more person too?" Seeing they're actions Takeo nodded and agreed to it. After confirming that they were coming he told them that he would send a driver to pick them up at the cafe, we separated once more after the bell rung and the teacher made his way.

Before the teacher began his lesson he told the class about club recruitment week which is starting today, he mentioned how dangerous he could get and how we should strive stay out of trouble. after giving his speech he proceeded to look in my direction before saying "Ichinose-san please report to the student council room during break please."

To my horror it seems like i will have to deal with those annoying soiled heirs of the ten master clans again, i could mutter out some curses
