12 Muscle up

After class ended the students were allowed to leave for break, Takeo grudgingly forced himself to walk towards the Student council room. It took longer than it should have since both Shiba and the stoic looking boy passed him on the way, when he finally got there he reluctantly knocked on the door. He heard a voice answered him from behind the door telling him to enter, complying he entered to room and was greeted by Juumonji, Watanabe and every members of the council with the exception of Hattori. Not that it mattered to him anyway and quite frankly he disdained the little shit, he reminded him of one of those kids who had talent but for some reason kept rubbing it in your face because they viewed themselves as one of the chosen ones.

Scoffing the thought out of his head, he merely nodded at everyone present and said "You called for me?" at his attitude Mayumi gave an exasperated smile before saying. "Ichinose-san I know we have gotten off on the wrong foot, but maybe we could..." she was rudely interrupted by Takeo's cold voice "Enough with chit chat what do you want? I ain't got all day here. also please spare me the sweet words they don't mean much if you dont mean them." Mayumi was taken aback by his blunt words, never in her life has she ever meant someone so blunt nor ever has she ever been spoken to like that either

Juumonji merely frowned at these words but said nothing else, as for Watanabe she had an equally shocked expression on her face. The rest of the room each spotted different expressions but they were all equally shocked, after a brief silence Mayumi steeled herself and spoke again "Yes, well we called you here because the teachers have decided to nominate you as their choice to join the public moral committee, in light of Morisaki's violation of using magic on a fellow student with the intention of doing harm he was removed from his position" Mayumi spoke in a professional manner, she knew her usual ways would get her nowhere with the boy in front of her, so she decided to keep it simple and direct.

Takeo looked her with a serious gaze and responded. "I refuse, if that's all I will be on my way good day." Without batting an eye he turned around and proceeded to walk away, only to be stopped by both Mayumi and Mari's voices. "Wait why did you refuse?" said Mari standing up, " Please explain, Ichinose-san?" Finished Mayumi in a panicked expression, Juumonji on the other hand stared intently at him as if also asking for an explanation.

Turning Takeo coldly looked at the trio and said."Why? well let's see for one I'm pretty sure you three had something to do with this, two I don't want to and besides there is no merit in taking care of a bunch of teenagers with ranging hormones with superiority complexes it'll only be a pain in my ass. Three it's disrespectful after showing clear favoritism towards Morisaki because he was a member of the hundred families, even after I had a better score they still chose him now that he was proven to be a dud they wanna come to me? Nope keep it besides I got way better things to do at home now goodbye."

Juumonji stood up and for the first time since the beginning spoke. "I do not agree with your choice Ichinose, as a subordinate it is your duty to..." before he could finish his words Takeo responded with an even colder voice interrupting him " Subordinate? who's subordinate am I? last I check this was a public school not the Juumonji's or Saegusa's clan property. Not only that since when was your subordinate? oh is that what gave you the authority to look into my family's background through what could only be considered illegal means? Last I check this country was not under the dictatorship of the ten master clans, maybe I may have missed the memo please enlighten me dear masters."

After waiting for a few seconds nobody said anything chuckling Takeo once again began speaking "So what made you think it was OK to do so? or was it a certain spoiled princess with a curiosity that was inherited from a cowardly raccoon of a father who allowed his fiancee to be kidnapped, raped and tossed her aside? well regardless I have no reason to accept nor can you force me to, so with that said I will take my leave."

Takeo walked out of the room without even as much as a look back and this time none of them had anything to say, Juumonji stood there dumbfounded, Mari had a pale face, while Mayumi had tears in her eyes as she looked down in embarrassment. Each one of these words hit her like an artillery shell, for the first she knew her actions have done irreversible damage. Every family had skeletons in their closets and her curiosity coupled with her family status always allowed her to poke her nose in things better be left alone.

Now that somebody aired out her family's skeleton in public, it left a very bad taste in her mouth. She now wanted nothing more but to find a hole to bury herself in. Mari was pale as sheer of paper, his words on favoritism hit her hard. She always believed that she wasn't like this elitist in the hundred families. After all she herself is from the tail end of the Watanabe clan, but ever since she got into first high she had been rubbing shoulders with not one but two member of ten master clan.

Somewhere her attitude slowly started to change, she has become slightly more relaxed on some matters. If it was the her from the past she would have never allowed Mayumi to poke her nose in somebody else's private matter simply to satisfy her curiosity. Juumonji on the other hand was equally ashamed at his actions, his father repeatedly told him that there were lines which must never be crossed. That as a member of the Juumonji he should never resort to dirty means unless it was a matter of great importance. Yet he went astray just satisfy someone's curiosity.

After standing there for a few minutes, he simply walked away without saying a word. Mayumi sat there looking at the floor riddled with guilt, Mari only recovered after the door closed when Juumonji walked out. She sighed and tapped Mayumi on the shoulders before walking towards the Public moral committee office, she herself knew she had al lot to think about. The room was quiet Shiba, Nakajou, and Ichihara did not know what to say in this situation. The only thing they knew was their president had investigated the new student in order get her hands on their dirty secret. Both Shiba and Ichihara felt disappointed in her actions as they both had secrets which should be also left alone

After walking out of the Student council room Takeo made his way towards the library, on his way there every student he passed gave him a wide berth, why might you ask? it was because of his zone interference, it was so strong that when he lost control of his emotions it caused changes in the erea around him. Some students were bombarded with an incredibly cold temperature, those close enough could feel they're blood flow slowing. It took him a very long time to calm down, if there were many things he hated in life but one he could lot stand was spoiled rich kids and those like use to they're families power to oppress others.

Without even noticing he arrived at the library, after checking in he proceeded towards the basement where all the sealed files on some researches located. when he got there he noticed he wasn't the only one there, in front of him was a slender, nervous-looking boy in front of him. He was in front of the door debating whether or not he should go in, Takeo cleared his throat which startled the boy. When he turned around and noticed somebody behind him he excused himself and walked away leaving Takeo by himself looking dumbfounded at the turn of event.

After a few seconds he simply shrugged and went in the room, where he would have access to some next level information that could help him create more impressive magics.
