1 A Big Dream
VR technology has become an important part of human life.
With the development of technology like that, various kinds of entertainment come with it, especially games.
Dozens of games were released on VR platforms for game only, people simply called it a gaming capsule. As the name says, the platform is shaped like a tube capsule.
Among the dozens of games, there is a one really popular game, Ex World Persona. The only game that provides a lot of interesting features and a vast world full of adventure created by the most influential companies that can regulate the flow of the world's economy.
Not only that, the platform used for Ex World Persona required a special platform to play it which was called Machina, which has a higher price than the normal capsule. Machina is created by the same company that makes Ex World Persona.
The design is different than a normal gaming capsule which is plainer. Machina has an aesthetic design that resembles a mecha robot cockpit like in the movies. Besides that, Machina has more functional features that provide safety and comfort to players if something were to happen during game activities.
The most important part of Machina is a live in-game stream feature with a virtual assistance studio to help players setting their live stream, this set was called Machina+ and can only be installed in at least 5x5 meters room.
Ex World Persona is often referred to as a second world to live in by the gaming community which makes many people interested in trying it.
Lham, a 21 years old veteran at MMORPG tried Ex World Persona after he bought Machina with the money he saved for 5 years. But, because the mechanic is different from a console or computer game, he struggled at first but eventually as time goes by he already mastered it.
A year after Ex World Machina's first launch, because the game is known all over the world and gains more popularity and players. Finally, a World EWP Championship was held in Beijing, China.
Lham was there watching the grand final tournament live in-stadium filled with more than 25000 live audiences. The tournament was also broadcasted online with over 40 million live viewers.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! WE ARE FINALLY HERE, THE GRAND FINAL!"
"WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!" The audience cheers.
The cheers rumbled like thunder, filling the entire stadium.
The most famous first-ever VR-Game World Championship, the event that all EWP players have been hoping for has come true. Who would have thought this event would become such a huge event and hype for a game that has only been running for a year.
"FROM THE BLUE SIDE WE HAVE THE MOST EXPECTED TO CLAIM THE THRONE! THE TEAM THAT ALWAYS GIVES THE BEST PERFORMANCE AND SURPRISE THROUGHOUT THE GAME! HERE COMES A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE USA, MAXIMUS!!!"
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"
The Maximus's team rosters come up to the stage while the audience showed no signs of stopping their cheers. A total of 7 players are already on stage.
"FROM THE RED SIDE, THE TEAM THAT CLAIMS TO BE THE KING OF KINGS. A PROMISING CANDIDATE TO CLAIM THE THRONE WITH A LOT OF TACTICS HIDING IN THEIR SLEEVES!! LET US GREET THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM CHINA, GOLDEN ERA!!!"
The same number of players as before come up to the stage, one of their rosters is a girl with red long hair and a pretty face.
"Is that Ye Yue? She's even prettier in real life than her avatar!" The male audience cheered louder when they saw Ye Yue, "YE YUE!!!!!!"
Thus, the grand final match started. Between USA Maximus against China Golden Era.
The match was intense, both teams played well. At one point, Maximus looked to be leading the game but some time later the golden era turned things around and lead the game. But, Maximus turned it again into their game until a miracle happened at the last moment by the side of the golden era.
Ye Yue, a player with a unique class character which is a Frost Witch. She cast her ultimate class skill
[Frozen Tomb Cave]
A large area skill that creates a cave with an area of 50 meters. The enemies trapped inside it will be given 4 debuffs (Slow, Froze, Defense reduction, and Damage taken increases by 4%) while it grants 2 offensive buffs (Hybrid Penetration +10% and Speed +12%) to allies.
The skill lasts until the player's mana drop below 15%

"GO!! GOLDEN ERA!!!!"
"WIN THIS MAXIMUS!!!"
The crowds cheered when the game looked like it will reach its climax soon.
After all Maximum's player got trapped in [Frozen Tomb Cave], all Golden Era must do is to finish them before Ye Yue's skill disappear. Thus, the grand final match winner is Golden Era with Ye Yue as MVP.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"
"GOLDEN ERA! GOLDEN ERA! GOLDEN ERA!"
"YE YUE! YE YUE! YE YUE!"
And there is Lham, who stood there when he was fascinated by both team's play. His heart beating so fast, he couldn't figure out what he was feeling right now. It feels like something has been born inside him, the feeling of wanting to win and get the recognition that is.
'They're so cool... I want to be like them, I want to play on this stage... No! I want to play on the bigger stage!!' he thought.
He's like an innocent child whose dream becomes a superhero after watches their actions in movies. The smile he gives when he looked at the big screen showing the face of the MVP of the match, Ye Yue, looks so innocent.
