8 Chapter 8: Torrent

I nodded and sat down on the bed. He was infront of me. I have to admit. This is really awkward.

"At least put on a towel first."

He complied as he realized. "Ella, they injected me with some serum of some sort when they were doing the operations on me. They forced me."

"And what do you mean by that?"

"This morning, they told me the purpose."

His breath grew heavy. "First, it's a serum that heats up my body unnaturally. They have access to what to do with it. Second, it makes me want to tell you everything. I really don't want to make it awkward but I can't help myself. I don't want to tell you about my previous partners while we're at it. Third, if I hadn't been this capable of controlling my emotions I might have done something terrible to you while you were still asleep. Fourth, this serum causes so much pain if it restricts my impulses."

I gulped and said, "I don't know what to say."

"They told me that it seems that you were immune with the said serum so you are to be scheduled tomorrow to have your blood in check."

I was silent. The atmosphere around us is choking me.

Delf sat beside me and told me everything about his past, "I wanted to be very honest with you not because I really want to tell you this but because the serum made me do so. I've been with three partners before the war struck and had it more or less thirty times. I've never impregnated. Second, my test shows that I am capable of getting you pregnant for at least one take. Three, I know I may not have that strong feelings for you but I'm pretty excited to do this. My buddy here is not excited though. Fourth, I don't know what to do with a virgin."

"I..." I was just staring at him. His buddy. His face. I gulped.

He laughed. "Trust me with this one, Vicerra."

Did you just call me Vicerra?

"I'm really not sure about this."

He started cupping my face with of his hands and kissed me.
