Yun-Yun

"So, friend. Can I see the pictures you've taken today?" Jin and Seo-yeon smiled at each other, proud at progress they had made in such a short period. Although Jin wanted to their relationship to be more than friends, he knew they needed to rebuild their foundation. He wanted to move past the misunderstandings, and unknown identities. He would not push his wishes on her, and accept friendship. 'Friendship is better than not having her in my life,' he told himself.

Seo-yeon knew a friendship could be tricky with any member of BTS, but she was not going to let the media, or people with ill-intentions prevent her from having an innocent friendship. She told herself she could forget everything that happened between her and Jin a few months ago. Part of her was not sure if what they felt was infatuation, and she was too scared to venture further and get hurt. 'Friendship is a smarter, safer route," she told herself.

Laughing at his request, she lead him to the screen which displayed the photos taken that morning. Each was careful not to stand too close. She began to explain the process, and thinking behind some of the pictures. She shared little stories of Ho-seok, Yoongi and Tae-hyung during specific images. Jin secretly watched her when she was staring at the screen. He could not control the grin that crept onto his face. Her passion for her job, and the respect and friendship with his friends was written all over her face. It pleased him to see that the passion for the art field she specialized in was still there. Working in the entertainment business did not jade her, and he prayed that it never would.

"Jin?" Jungkook and Tae-hyung walked into the studio, and were surprised when they noticed the two alone in the empty room.

"Hey. Tae, your pictures came out great!" He put a little more space between Seo-yeon and himself. Jungkook took the open space to catch a peek at the pictures.

"These are awesome!" Jungkook was impressed with Seo's camera skills, and childishly gave her two thumbs up. "I can't wait to have ours taken tomorrow."

"Yun-Yun, is so fun to work with. She made it feel like we were just playing around but they came out so good." Tae-hyung put his arm around Jin's shoulders, and gave Seo a thumbs up, and wink.

"Yun-Yun?" Jungkook and Jin exchanged glances between the other two. Seo-yeon giggled and shrugged her shoulders as an answer to their questioning eyes. She realized during conversations, and the photo shoot, that Tae was extremely friendly, and did what Tae wanted in the moment.

"My little brother actually called me that growing up, and it stuck. My mom even started calling me that." She smiled at Tae, thinking of her younger brother.

"Tae, don't you think you may make her feel uncomfortable?" Jin gently scolded.

"At least see if she's ok with it before you start calling her that, Hyung." Jungkook poked Tae in the ribs as his own form of punishment.

"Oh...." Tae apologized, and dodged Jungkook's second attempt to poke him.

"It's really no problem." She waved her hands to ward of any more reprimands given to Tae. "I have no issues with the nickname."

Tae-hyung gave both guys a look of triumph. He nodded in agreement with Seo's approval of the nickname. Jin glared back at him, knowing he couldn't say more on the topic if she was ok with it. 'I'm not ok with it. When did they get so close?'

"You can call me Tae, Yun-Yun."

"Sure."

"Hey, I wanna call you Yun-Yun too, noona!" Jungkook pouted. Seo-yeon rolled her eyes at them. She was learning so much about them today. She nodded her head in approval for him as well. The group continued to goof around when the door opened. Ho-seok and Yoongi entered, having ended their lunch.

"We better get back," Jin regrettably said. He gestured to Jungkook so they could head out.

"See you tomorrow, Yun-Yun," Jungkook gleefully said. Ho-seok and Yoongi stared at her in confusion when they heard the nickname. She glanced at both of them and laughed.

Shrugging her shoulders, she simply said, "Don't ask."

***Evening***

The group had finished that afternoon, and left for a prior engagement. Seo-yeon stayed in her studio, going through the pictures taken, and preparing for the ones for the next day. She sat at her desk staring at the pictures. She sighed in relief. She had worried for nothing. She and Jin were able to make peace, and she made friends with the majority of the group. Of course, she had the younger members going around calling her "Yun-Yun" to her embarrassment. With their personalities, it was not that shocking to see them accept her as their "older sister."

Saving her work, she grabbed her bag, and locked up her studio. She sat alone at her bus stop, and took out her phone. She opened her personal email to pass the time. She stopped when she saw a new message from Jin's email. They had not contacted each other through email since the vacation. At the time, he had sent the pictures they took, and a message telling her he wished her all the best. Short and simple. She stared at the unopened message, wondering what he could have possibly sent. The sound of her bus arriving drew her attention away from her phone.

Once seated, she took her phone out again. Losing to her curiosity, she finally opened the email.

[Email]

Seo-yeon,

Seeing how we agreed to be friends, and how my dongsaengs are openly calling you YunYun, I don't see why we can't exchange messages.

I hope that's ok. My personal number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. If I don't receive a message, or call, I'll accept that you're not ready for our friendship to extend outside of work. I'm not trying to pressure you, so do what is best for you. I'm your friend regardless.

Patiently waiting,

Jin

[Email end]

Sorry to my patient readers. I was busy for a while there, and didn't have time to write. I apologize that the last chapter seemed like I ended the story. I meant to show that they "buried the hatchet" and would be moving forward with friendship. Unfortunately, I didn't catch that it looked like a cliffhanger. Whoops! I will continue this story, and I really appreciate the words of encouragement from those that continue to read, and comment. ^_^
