9 C9: Sis is not my girlfriend

It's been a week since I last spoke to Chloe. I still see her around school, hanging out with her friends and she avoids me, that's good - I guess.

Exams are around the corner and I don't have time to worry and be sad about Chloe. It hurt, it really did, but after waking up the next day I felt refreshed and it feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I feel bad for her, she did always say she loved me and she showed me too. I just wish I could have shown her how I felt towards her, but she should know - I guess.

Sitting at my desk while biting onto the pen I use to write my notes with. I sat there going through my chemistry book. My google hangouts was open on my laptop in front of me.

We were having a video call slash study session, we, meaning my friends and me. Tai and I were great at chemistry while Theo and Laura were above average and needed help. We went off topic a bunch of times, but luckily Laura kept us in check.

Cindy 20:30 pm.

"hey sweety, why are you still up?"

I bit down hard on the pen after I saw the message from sis. She told me yesterday that she was working on a project and that she'd arrive home late.

My friends were still speaking while I zoned at the notification that was on the side of the screen.

I reached out and opened the text notification and replied.

Reign 20:32 pm.

"Hey sis, I was waiting up for you."

Cindy 20:32 pm.

"I feel honoured."

Reign 20:32 pm.

"Hehe"

"Sis"

"I want to tell you something."

Cindy 20:33 pm.

"I'm listening"

"Well, reading."

Reign 20:33 pm.

"I want to leave this place."

Cindy 20:33 pm.

"Why?"

Reign 20:33 pm.

"I want to be myself"

Cindy 20:34 pm.

"Did something happen?"

Reign 20:34 pm.

"No, not really."

Cindy 20:34 pm.

"Must I come to fetch you?"

Reign 20:34 pm.

"How would that help?"

Cindy 20:35 pm.

"You can come live with me"

"Or don't you want to?"

Reign 20:35 pm.

"I want to"

"But wouldn't that be bad"

"I mean erections"

"Are embarrassing"

Cindy 20:35 pm.

"I will help you, don't worry"

Reign 20:36 pm.

"How?"

Cindy 20:36 pm.

"hehe"

"Do you really want to know?"

Reign 20:36 pm.

"You mean 'that'?"

"Blushes"

"Fuck," I said while looking at that message. The slightest sexual message from sis turns me on. I bit on to my bottom lip while sucking on it and looking at the screen, looking down at my pants "I'm hard," left my mouth.

Cindy 20:36 pm.

"You finally caught up"

"Ha-ha"

"Reign?" I heard Laura call out my name. I looked to my left wondering where it came from. "Reign?" she called again making me look to my right.

I must be hearing things, I can hear Laura's voice, but can't see her. "Reign, look at your fuckin laptop!!" she yelled, making me fall off my chair.

I got up from the floor and used the desk as support. After sitting down, I looked at my laptop and saw sis' messages.

Furrowing my brows I finally remembered that we were studying together via video call. I sat up straight and picked up my laptop, folding them on the chair I was seated on and placed it between my legs.

I minimized the text screen with sis and I was met with three gazes - I feel weird.

"Y-you c-called L-l-laura?" I asked hesitantly.

There was no response from Laura and the other two. I wanted to say sorry, but I did not feel guilty at all.

Since no one was speaking I decided to reply to sis' message.

Reign 20:50 pm.

"haha What happen to no good with sis?"

Cindy 20:50 pm.

"Who said so?"

"I don't remember any of that"

Reign 20:50 pm.

"hahaha"

"Alright you win"

"I should come over now hahaha"

Cindy 20:50 pm.

A smile played on my lips and I again forgot about my three friends who were watching me.

"Reign, what are you doing? Are you chatting to Chloe?" I heard someone ask me, by reflex I answered, "No, I'm speaking to sis," without stuttering.

"Who?" I heard Theo's voice sound in the background. I realized that I did it again and went back to the video call.

"Uh…" I trailed, I did not know what to say.

"A new girlfriend?" Asked Tai Hong questioned. Running a hand through my short black hair I looked down at the three of them staring at me.

"Sis is not my g-girlfriend," I said with a stutter. They continued to look at me with puzzled and confused expressions.

"Can we meet her?" asked Laura. I smiled wearily and just nodded. Introducing sis to my friends wouldn't be so bad would it?
