15 C15: Sweet Time

I walked past the corner the bus turned in.

Looking down the street, the sight was wonderful.

The sun blocked my view of the houses and the road.

Turning to face the front I walked onwards a bit faster than normal.

I dropped my bag in a green recycling bin next to the bus stop and waited.

I took my mobile out and scrolled through my messages, there were a bunch from Laura and Tai, Theo and Chloe…

I pressed the clear button and dialled the last number on my call list.

"Hey, hey, where are you?" the caller on the other end questioned me.

Hearing her voice sends shivers down my spine.

Her voice sounds so rough but gentle at the same time.

Answering her I said, "Mn, I am waiting for the bus to arrive then I'll head to the mall."

"Ahh - haa~, listen, are you sure about this, there's no going back once we meet?" She asked.

Biting on my bottom lip, I looked at the old lady walking past me. Sighing contemplatively I answered, "Cindy, I know there is no going back after this that's why I…"

"Hai hai~ hurry up and get here, sis can't wait forever, otherwise, you'll regret it, young lady," she cuts me off.

I admit that I was getting a little emotional but right now after being called a "young lady" the butterflies in my stomach started fluttering violently.

Rolling my eyes at her words, just as I was about to look up the street for the bus, it turned around the corner, "Sis the bus is here, I'll be there soon."

"You sound excited my love," she says.

"I am, I finally get to meet you," I answered softly.

We hung up as I got onto the bus and paid the fair.

I walked to the end of the bus and sat down beside the left window.

As I stared out the window I thought back to what Reegon said, wondering to myself how the family would react to my letter.

Today, time really seems to go by slowly…

Letting out a sigh I felt something cold drop down my face. Lifting up my left hand I seem to have wiped away a drop of water.

I looked up at the roof but there was nothing, lifting up my mobile to check my reflection in the camera, "Eh? Am I crying?" I asked myself.

I quickly wiped away the tears that were forming and started panicking.

I closed my eyes and started breathing in and out while counting to ten slowly.

When I reached ten the anxiety in my body was no longer present and the bell on the bus rang for the next stop.

Opening my eyes, I stood up and walked to the front. The bus driver and I made eye contact for a split second.

The bus came to a stop. I jumped off the last step and walked towards the entrance of the mall.

Feeling a bit light headed, I walked slower while I was inside the building.

Sis and I agreed to have breakfast first, then a movie, then we leave.

I finally found her inside one of the cafes. I don't know how but I can feel that this person is Sis.

I walked towards the waitress, telling her that I am here to meet someone that's inside already… she let me in.

I feel a bit jittery walking towards this person. She's not looking up but at her mobile with a frown on her face.

With her head resting in the palm of her left hand, her hair resting against her hand as it hung and blew with the wind from the fan near us.

Sis has on a black pair of stiletto heels that is joined by her toes. With red nail polish on her toes to compliment her feather tattoo.

A ripped pair of dark blue jeans on that fit her perfectly but it wasn't ripped too much.

Sis has on a crop top that's covering her breasts tightly but not too tight, it's sort of hugging her…

I stood in front of the table and smiled, staring at her the nervous feelings from before disappeared.

She looked up at me, waving at me slightly and grinning she greeted me, "You took your sweet time getting here."

Pursing my lips together, I sat down. She looked at me and folded her arms with that grin still on her face.
