The sound of people shouting along with the collision of their swords rang around. There were around a thousand or so of these people and they are the first batch of soldiers that Ryden is training

Of course, only a thousand soldiers would be far from enough. Clyde and Ryden at least want a few tens of thousands. Even that is still pretty small for them but training soldiers is not easy especially if it was being done in secrecy and also the recruited soldiers only came from a single city. A city with a low population due to the threat of the monsters

Currently, Ryden and his trusted men already killed almost all the monsters on this mountain and the mountain should be pretty safe for now. The chances of being discovered is also low as almost no one would come to this mountain with the threat of the monsters
