Chapter 1

It was a simple town with a simple school but something in the building was frightening. The tension in the air was thick, thick enough that a sharp knife would take it's time. My heart was beating loudly without any good reason, I didn't bother my friends. Since morning my guts was telling me something but I ignored it, our floor was quite but there was something on the third floor. I couldn't control my heart, so on the pretext of washroom I went upstairs. The air up there was thicker making it tough for me to breathe, I saw the grade 11 students standing out of their classroom. There was no place to hide but I stood near grade 12 without anyone noticing me.

My curiosity got the best of me so I called a senior friend of mine in a hush tone, he explained that the captain's were searching all the classes for cellphones. Wow, I thought, I asked whether any was found from his class when suddenly a voice rang in my hears and someone came out of the class but I couldn't see her as she was surrounded by the teacher and the students. He kept on explaining they were even searching their body too but something told me something bad is about to happen.

I didn't anyone to see me so I told him that I'll meet him later and ran back to my class. As I entered, my girlfriend gave me a strange inquisitive look so did my friends but I told them it was nothing. Soon lunch rolled in but the tension was still there, senior students didn't look happy nor did the teachers. The captain's were nowhere to be seen, god what is going to happen. Lunch flew by faster than ever, our classes resumed but the teachers seemed worried like they were expecting something.

During the sixth period I went upstairs again and saw a chaos infront of the commerce

section of grade 11, teachers surrounded a girl who my friend too and she was crying. Damn she must have caught, I couldn't stay there knowing trouble was coming my way too. Its the last class of the day, my heart was out of control, i kept on pacifying myself that nothing would happen that's when two captain entered our room calling out my name.

God, I'm dead, they will kill me. One scolded me very badly for my indesant behaviour, cause my pictures were found with the students of middle school who are not supposed to bring phones. He said that my badge would be taken away while the other spoke to the teacher and the class. It was my fault I should have warned them as a high schooler but I didn't, I lacked in my responsibility and as a badge holder a slight mistake means you get penalized more badly.

Finally she came near me, she was a bit taller than me, a bit chubby, tan skinned, dark black hair like spider's web and eyes like abbys where I wanna get lost, personality I couldn't put a finger on, a rectangular frame sits on her nose making her more intimidating. She didn't scold me but the explanation won my heart, for her I can give away everything, damn it Sam what are you thinking.

Yes my badge was taken away so was my heart, I started to feel a new feeling, damn she's five years older than me but age is just a number. I still don't know her name but I'll find it soon, All I knew was that I wanted her.
