18 Set off with Sadness

Lucy pov:

And then...

The morning came. I was ready to go and now waiting on Ashley.

L: Ashley you ready?

A: I am, just give me a minute. I am coming as fast as I can.

L: Good, let's head out and travel to a new country. I want to make sure we can't be followed. So I took some scented cans that spray of nature airs that should last four hours and make our trail disappear for good.

A: Okay. Lucy?

L: What is it?

A: Are we going to survive this dangerous world?

L: I can't say will make it for sure. But I will do everything I can to protect you with all I got. I will destroy our enemies. If I can't get it out of it alive at least I will drag them to Hell with me. And that's a promise.

A: But what if I don't want you to go.

L: If it's my fate then I have no choice but to fight back and live to protect you. Even if I can't, I want you to hide from them and trust no one but each other, okay Ash Ash.

A: I...I want you to be with me when I grow into a teenager and then a young adult that has a family and you would be the Badass aunt that they love and cherish.

L: My goal is to survive, live, and watch you grow up to be the best person you can be. Right now we got to run.

And they were off to find a shelter in a different country. Lucy left off with a broken heart and anger. While Ashley left with anxiety, fear, and deep sadness.

Lucy & Ashley pov:

The sun was rising quickly from a distance. Luckily, we are near the woods, close to the border. I told Ashley to get on my back so it would be faster to travel for a good 10 hours without stopping.

"Hold my bags for me. You get to meet Raven. Have fun lil sis." Lucy said before she turned into this big bad Alpha wolf. The colors were red-brown with silver eyes that have gold speckles surrounding them.

"HOLY BEANS THIS IS AMAZING!" Screamed Ashley.

"Damn right I am." Replied Raven.

Seth pov:

I knew that Lucy heard something she could not unhear. She was being less open-minded to me these last few days. She was walking around the house with a hint of sadness and maybe a deep regret. But when I asked her what was wrong? Her reply was "Nothing is wrong. I just want to say I...I love you through and through no matter what happens, okay.

With that response, I knew she was sad and this unexplainable emotion came to me. I felt hurt, but I understand how she feels even though I don't know the exact thoughts of Lucy.

My instincts told me that I won't be seeing Lucy that often. Oh, wait it's my emotional power that I have as a vampire. As night was ending it was my family's que to sleep as the sun sets. I wonder what made her decide to leave. Should I sneak around or ask if my other two brothers know.
