11 My Wolf and I

I run back to my room as fast as could even though I was half shifted. After what seemed like forever I finally make it to my room and hear a voice in my head.

"Hello, Lucy. I am your wolf."

"Oh. Hi."-Lucy said with a surprised look on her face.

"And to answer your question I am the only one who can hear and talk to you in your head. My name is Raven."

"Nice to meet you, Raven."

"Nice to meet you too Lucy."

"I have a question."

"Go ahead Lucy asks away." Raven said to me in a comfortable tone.

"What does our wolf look like?"

"Let's go find out walking on the trail in the garden."

"Ok," I replied back to Raven.

So we go outside into the garden on the trail. Once we get to farther up the trail, I shifted into my wolf. There was a lot less guards there. I must admit I looked majestic. My wolf has brownish-reddish fur with silver eyes that have tinted gold flecks surrounding the silver.

I and Raven run off the trail into the woods exploring it with all my senses sharper and more accurate. After an hour and half exploring the woods, I and Raven started heading back towards the mansion. After reading that book I noticed how much more food I need to eat.

I shifted back into my human self and went into the kitchen to grab some strawberry whipped waffles to eat.

Seth's POV:

I noticed that Lucy was missing from the bed so I went out to find her. After searching a couple of minutes I found her in the kitchen shoving her face with strawberry waffles.

But that's not the only thing I noticed. I sniffed Lucy and realized she has the scent of a wolf instead of a human. But at least we're still mates. Then it hit me. Was Lucy never really human to begin with?

"A little bit late for waffles isn't it?"

"Maybe it is. But who actually cares at this point, Seth." She said with a hint of sass.

" What are you doing here at this hour? " I asked suspiciously.

"Eating. Because me and…I mean I'm hungry." She said while correcting herself.

"Oh" is all I could say dumbfounded that she literally just corrected herself eating like it's normal.

" Is that all? " She said with a growl.

Wait a growl? Does that mean she's a she-wolf? I say in my head.

"Lucy, are you a werewolf?"

I get nothing from her. All I get is dose of silence.

"I tell you tomorrow ok. I don't want to now because I don't have enough energy to explain it right now." Lucy said looking awfully tired.

" Ok. "

I pick Lucy up and ran back to our room in a flash.

Lucy's POV:{Thoughts while carried to bed}

I think Seth figured out who I really am. Yes, he had questions, but I just don't have enough energy to tell him so he just carried me to our room. All I hope for is that he still loves me regardless that I'm a werewolf.

"Raven, will he accept us?" I ask nervously.

"I am sure he will. We are still the same person, just a different species. He loves for who we are not what are." The calm wolf explained.

"I hope you are right." I sighed softly.

"We will know his repose tomorrow. Just be patient and have faith." The red-brown wolf reminded her human.

"Alright, I will. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Lucy."
