13 Deeper Secrets

♠Lucy POV♠

"Ben, what's happening?" my mom asks dad.

"We are running away from the vampire they call Mrs. Harvey, my sweet Gwen. She found out we were going to stop her plans to make different supernatural creatures to have no forbidden love." He tells my mom while driving like the fast and furious.

"Ben we have to protect our kids. Their mates could be a vampire or witch once they turn 17. If they do they need to keep their identities a secret if one of them has one of her sons as a mate." Gwen says, crying to herself.

"Don't cry Gwen. I am sure he will love her no matter what." Ben says while holding one arm with hers.

"Mommy, what is going to happen to me and Ashley?" I say to her with a worried frown on my face.

"Nothing as long as you both look after each other. And no matter what happens to me and your father, never trust anyone but each other girls. The world is not all cupcakes and lollipops. It is full of monsters." My mother says to me and Ashley with a serious time in her voice.

"Lucy. I and your mother are always going to love you. But I and your mom are not gonna live forever. If that does happen, you are gonna be the parent to replace us, Lucy. I'm sorry if you lose your childhood but Ashley will need you more than ever. Promise us you will protect her Lucy." My dad says with a sad look in his eyes.

"I promise daddy and mommy," I said with a knowing fact.

"That's our princess. Take care of each other." They told me as my mom said "jump out of the car now before her guards kill us in an "accident".

"I can't mommy. I don't want you and daddy to go. I love you guys." I said with teary eyes.

"I know it's hard sweetie but we want to see you guys to live then to die with us. Now grab Ashley and run away. Never stop running because if you do, they will catch you." My father says to me.

That's the last thing they told me before I grabbed Ashley and jumped into the grassy field out of the car.

When I and Ashley stood up and turned around to see our parents, I closed Ashley's eyes as I saw them.

♦CRASH!♦

I saw a black car that looked like a hybrid, hit my parents car which was a gray mustang. As I went to get a closer look I saw two shady figures come out of the hybrid to see my parents. Yes, my parents are now dead.

One of the shady men turned and saw us. I took Ashley's hand and we ran because I knew the shady figures were following us. So I did what my parents told me to "Never stop running".

We haven't stopped running since our parents died. We never stopped in one place for too long. Cause if we stay in one spot they'll find us.

Ever since the accident I've been training every day to get stronger to protect me. But not just me, but mostly to protect my baby sister.

Every day I would go to the YMCA to stay fit. I would run in the late afternoons to get better agility and flexibility.

And every day I've been getting better. I've trained with skilled fighters. I pushed to my limits to get where I wanna go in the future.

I work my ass off, working as a Maid in many different cafes as we travel all around America.

Then one day we arrive in North Carolina. That's when we started to struggle for survival. So I set up posters of a maid in need of work.

And, then I was off to work one day and come back to see a limousine waiting for me and Ashley. That's when I first met Mrs. Harvey. She found us because I was waiting to be a maid, to make money for my sister and me.

Then before I knew we arrive at her mansion 3 hours later. Where our lives changed. For the best or the worst, I didn't know. Yet.

It was hard not to grind my teeth when I first saw Mrs. Harvey. I hated her to the core because of what she did to our parents. I will never forgive her. I will destroy when the opportunity presents itself.

And so here we are.
