The Prophecy

4 weeks later

Amelia's POV...

"YOUR HIGHNESS ITS URGENT THERE IS A NEW PROPHECY INVOLVING YOUR CHILDREN!!!" Berdos (the queen and king's personal servant) screamed from outside Amelia's bedroom. "Shhhhh Berdos please I just finished putting the babies to sleep," Amelia explained as she slowly opens the giant doors of her bedroom.

"I'm soo sorry your highness I had not realized, but this is urgent there is a new prophecy and it involves your children Nadia and Lilith, "Berdos explained as he grabbed onto Amelia's hand allowing the maids to be able to walk into her bedroom and watch over the children. " Berdos don't you think you are overreacting a tad I mean come on my children will have no problem being powerful if they are anything like James and I," Amelia explained with a cocky tone.

"My lady I'm afraid I cannot tell you anything major about it until you talk to Guivera, she will tell you in great detail," Berdos said with fear in his voice that didn't go unnoticed by Amelia. Amelia realizing Berdos fear tried her best to comfort him," Oh come on Berdos you have been working for my husband and I for almost 12 years now that should count for something shouldn't it."

After receiving no response that's when it came to Amelia how serious the situation truly was. "I wonder what it is that the old witch told him to get him this scared, of all the years I have never seen Berdos this scared before in my life," Amelia asked herself.

"Ok fine you got me I'll take this seriously but can you at least tell me if it's bad or good?" Amelia once again got no response in return but as she looked down she realized that Berdos was shaking tremendously. She was finally brought out of her internal thinking after Berdos finally spoke,"we're here my lady." Amelia looked up realizing they had finally reached Guiveras after what seemed like forever. Berdos reluctantly knocked twice, after a few seconds there was a voice from inside saying,

"Ah come on in your highness."

Hesitantly Amelia walked in with Berdos by her side. Once they stepped in, the doors slammed shut making Amelia turn back preparing for battle as her hands started to glow shades of blue. " Now now Amelia it's ok it was just the door no need to activate your ice power...now come sit down sweetheart we have important matters to discussed," Guivera said in an almost mocking tone.

Amelia took a deep breath slowly as she began to bring her hands back to normal as she thought to herself," And just when I thought this hag couldn't get any creepier she pulls this." Amelia looked around and saw that the room hadn't changed much over the years since the last time she had been there it dull and plain with nothing but a twin-sized bed, piles, and piles of books, and the small set up of pillows on the floor next to the giant wall of hand-painted beauties scattered across the wall that seemed to reach the stars.

Each one showing a previous prophecy that has come true in the past. Amelia was once again pulled out of her trance when Guivera snapped her fingers causing the lights to dim drastically. "Now my dear precious Amelia it is time you know the fate of your twin daughters Nadia and Lilith." Guivera continued to explain with her raspy voice," In the future, something will happen to you and your husband King James that will cause your children to separate from each other and be raised apart from each other.

Both of them will have a hard life but unfortunately only one of them will live to adulthood it is unclear which one but all I can say is your 1st born Lilith will be an absolute prodigy showing her powers from a young age she will become an incredible warrior in the future." Guivera paused to catch her breath. "Ha this is what I had to worry about I knew they would grow up strong, wait did she say only 1 would survive to adulthood!!!"

"ahem" Guivera continued on, " As I was saying unfortunately your daughter Lilith will be a powerful warrior to our enemies the Axellions." "WHAT!!! NO, NO WAY I REFUSE TO BELIEVE MY DAUGHTER WILL END UP FIGHTING FOR THOSE BASTARDS!!" Amelia yelled as she was enraged with just the idea of her daughter being on their enemies' side, but before she could continue her rant Berdos hit her on the head not too hard but hard enough to get her back to focusing on what was going on.

"Owww Berdos that hurt!!" Amelia whined as she pouted still thinking about Lilith's future. "I am truly sorry my lady but you must stop getting off subject this is important," Berdos explained apologetically. "Ok ok continue Guivera I will try my best to stop interrupting," Amelia explained finally ready to finish listening to the prophecy.

"Thank you, your highness, anyway as I was saying Lilith will be a powerful warrior but it's your daughter Nadia that I'm worried about.

She has tremendous power within her that can either help us or destroy us. She will not grow up knowing how to control her power but when she does learn she will be even more powerful than her older sister Lilith. Your daughters will eventually fight to the death after your daughter Nadia loses someone important to her due to her elder sister's ambition. It isn't clear which one wins but whoever does will grow up to rule the entire universe including a small little planet called earth." Before Guivera could continue she realized that Amelia was now in tears and shaking just as much as Berdos was when he was dragging Amelia to Guivera's.

"I'm sorry I can't listen to this anymore your telling me both of my children will live horrible lives then grow up and fight to the death," Amelia asked reluctantly. " Yes, your highness." Guivera finished. "And what happens when either one of them wins?" Amelia asked with hope in her voice. "If Lilith wins she will destroy the universe as we know it, but if Nadia wins assuming that she grows up into something good she will bring peace and balance throughout the universe, but if she chooses the wrong path then she will become a worse tyrant than Lilith," Guivera stated.

"How am I supposed to tell my husband that our 3-week old children will fight to the death and either save or annihilate the universe?" Amelia said as she sniffed and cried a bit more. " Is there any possible way that I can survive whatever it is that I die from and be there for both of my children!" Amelia asked hoping she could avoid this mess that they call a future. "I'm afraid not Amelia we can't change what's going to happen we can just hope for the best," Guivera explained with sadness in her eyes.

She was about to say something more when Amelia interrupted her and asked," When is this supposed to happen?" "Very soon within a day or 2 possibly sooner," Guivera explained as she refused to see the look on Amelia or Berdos face. "I see then I will go and spend as much time with my children as I can before that time comes!" Amelia yelled with determination in her voice.

Realizing that 3 hours had already passed Amelia rushed out of Guivera's and ran home but right as she was exiting, the palace shook and the sky turned from a beautiful pink to a blood red. "No No No... this can't be happening not now I didn't get to spend time with them it's too soon!" Amelia yelled at the sky as her heart was beating and her adrenaline was pumping.

"What's happening?" Guivera asked as she realized that Amelia's hands were once again beginning to flow into the beautiful shades of blue right before battle. Berdos then replied, "It's the Axellions they're attacking!"
