I look at him after four years and that pretend smile he puts on his face makes me angry. The thought of smothering him spreads like a tentacle in my mind, but I silence it. I have a goal and I will only see it happen if patience never leaves my mind. He's happy, just like his people. But they're so naïve they can't understand how strong I am.
