Workshop

Elsa loved her interaction with Ray. Like everyone says," First Impression is always the Best ."

She thought that he would be a cold, rude guy and would tell her off after hearing her remarks. But she knew now, that he was a gentle guy who loved to show off his humour and was genuinely a caring guy.

Elsa didn't admit that she was curious about him and just tried to evade these feelings. As she just joined college, she wanted to enjoy and explore her college life rather than deal with these feelings.

Soon, she came to know from Gina that there will be some weekend's were they have to come for college to participate in "workshop's" .

There were mainly two reason's why the faculty ask us to participate : 1- to learn about the real world experience and to develop other skill's. 2- Each workshop would hand out a certificate at the end of the day which would give us some credits that are necessary at the end of our final year to get our Degree certificate.

That was one of the rule in our university that a student must have 100 credits to get his/her's Degree certificate.

"Let's join for one for this coming weekend" Elsa grabbed her friend's and said enthusiastically.

Both of them sighed and made an effort to explain it to her that it was a study session and not a playground but before they could open their mouths, they saw her running towards her teacher for the details.

Elsa took the paper which contained the details and waved to her friends. Gina looked at Adina and both heaved a sigh knowing that she would regret this.

The weekend came by, and Elsa woke up early so that she could inform her parent's about her workshop plan . She happily informed her dad that her friend Gina will pick her up and went off to get ready.

Soon, Gina came to pick her up and they left for college immediately as they were late by half hour. As soon as they reached college, they were surprised that only a few people had turned up and the rest , including the speaker, would arrive within another half hour.

Elsa and her friend's went inside the lab, were the workshop was conducted, and found their seats at the back. She looked around to find people logging into their systems and installling some software required for the class.

She called out a senior in front of her and asked her whether she could help her with the instructions.

As Elsa and her friend's were busy following the instructions to install, the speaker and the rest of the students arrived one by one. The speaker was a carefree worker who often said some light jokes to make the class interesting. Elsa could feel two pair's of eyes looking at her but she ignored it and tried to listen to the class.

Elsa thought she could avoid her friend's wrath till lunch ,but all the God's decided to abandon her, as she heard one of their fellow senior announce that it was break time.

Elsa jumped from her seat, rushed outside to get her shoes but before she could wear them, she saw two pair's of feet standing in front of her.

She gulped hard and looked up to see her two friend's glaring at her. She immediately knew she was done for and said," I know.. I know.. It's my fault. Next time i will listen to you before i choose a workshop. "

Both of them glared at her and asked ," There will be a next time ? "

Elsa immediately shook her head," No..NO... There won't be a next time. I will leave it upto you guys to choose a workshop."

Both nodded and Elsa relaxed a bit. She couldn't believe that her weekend was spent on learning some crap she can't even understand.

She was orginally excited to know what they would do at a workshop and when the classes began, her intial excitement turned to tears when she couldn't even understand what the speaker was trying to do.

As she was lost in her thoughts, she heard a familiar laughter across her and she widened her eyes thinking about the possibility of him coming to this workshop.

She went towards the balcony while her friend's went to pick up their snacks. She badly wanted it to not be him as she couldn't believe that she could identify him just from the sound of his laughter.

But, she knew in her heart that it was him and only his laughter could make her tensed.
