42 Changes???

A heavy silence descended on the table, Nyx and Aurora were looking down fell into deep thought.

Aurora and Erisviel both were looking at Nyx and Aaron with concerned eyes.

Aaron and Nyx got up at the same time and both were leaving in a hurry.

Aurora tried to call out to Aaron and Nyx but they said at the same time.

"I need some time alone, please." They both pleaded to Aurora to leave them alone. Quickly turning around they left.

Aurora turned around to face Erisviel.

Erisviel saw Aurora had a sad look on her and said to her "They are right, they need some time alone, Rory."

Aurora hearing Erisviel sighed and sat down.

Both of them finished their lunch and left the cafeteria together.

They couldn't find Nyx and Aaron.

Aurora and Erisviel texted them, only to get a reply that they are nearby, just need some time alone.

Aurora and Erisviel skipped class and talked about what Erisviel said.

They talked about many hypotheses and possibilities of Aaron and Nyx's condition.

Aurora after having an in-depth talk about it with Erisviel found out that it's worse than she thought.

Aaron and Nyx they overworked their soul to the extreme limit.

It is so fragile that it can collapse anytime soon.

There are some things that Erisviel doesn't know about but Aurora does, as she was from a magical universe.

Since in her previous universe, the gods were more active in their world. The knowledge, research, understanding and inputs on the soul that gods have provided in their universe regarding souls were plentiful.

The soul of 'Ian' who reincarnated in this world as Aaron and Nyx were already fragile, to begin with.

Now, overworking that fragile soul to the limit? There is a high possibility of Aaron and Nyx both going crazy or both dying. It will be similar to going into a vegetative state but different in a way, they will be like a puppet or a robot without a soul, without life.

They talked for hours until the classes for today all finished.

Both waited for Aaron and Nyx until Aaron texted Aurora to go home and told her in the message that he will be there soon.

Erisviel and Aurora said goodbye to each other then they went home.

At the clubhouse.

Aaron and Nyx were staring into each other.

They arrived here straight from the cafeteria.

After listening to Erisviel, they thought deeply about themselves.

Just like Erisviel said, both Aaron and Nyx are further developing their own personality. They are slowly drifting away from each other and becoming two different people. Ian the original soul, was slowly fading away.

They recounted everything that happened in their lives from birth.

It took hours before they slowly got an understanding of themselves after recounting their lives.

Both Aaron and Nyx stared at each other.

"I was Ian?." Both said the same time.

Erisviel was right, Change is inevitable.

But they are the only one who can decide what kind of change they will go through.

They know that they dont want to let go of each other, they also dont want to let go of the past.

They both have already changed too much. Their personalities have already differed from each other but one thing hasn't changed.

"I am Ian, and we Aaron and Nyx are part of Ian."

Smiling, finally knowing how to go forward by accepting the changes on their own terms.

Both felt relieved.

Looking at the time, it's almost dinner time?

They quickly left for home.

Nyx arrived at aunt May's residence with Aaron.

Aaron just arrived in the living room, he saw aunt May looking at him with an angry expression but it soon disappeared after seeing Nyx with Aaron.

"Aaron! Dont be late next time. Both Aurora and I was worried." May looking at Aaron admonished him for few minutes before telling him to join at the dinner table.

At the dinner table, Aurora saw Aaron and was looking at him with concerned eyes. When Aaron and Nyx gave her a blinding smile, which relived all the worries from her.

Aaron and Nyx sat on opposite sides. Aurora was next to Nyx.

Aurora whispered to Nyx "everything okay now?"

Nyx turning to Aurora said in a whisper "Fine, will take some time to get used to it but I think its good for me, no for us."

Telling her its okay, before she started to devour the food in front of her.

Aurora didn't know what to say? but she believed and have faith in both of them.

Shaking her head, she also took her food on her plate also started eating.

It has already been a week.

The gang was walking with other students following behind their respective chaperone.

They are currently on the Star Mountain for a school camping trip

"Ahhhhhh!!! How long do we have to walk? My legs are trembling, my whole body is aching very bad." Aaron said complaining to the gang.

They have been walking for half an hour.

His body is already weak, now with all the walking and walking and walking!! He felt his body on the brink of collapse.

"Weak! Just a little bit more then we will take rest before we will start to walk for another half an hour to our destination." Aurora said looking at Aaron with disdain.

"You know, it really feels like a punishment to me rather than an enjoyable time with friends on a trip. I guess that we've been skipping class, thats why we are walking the long way from the other groups? As far I can see all the people in this group are those who skipped class or were in detention at least thrice."

Erisviel said, giving her input on this group.

"You're right! All of us here are the once who caused trouble or were in detention at least thrice. Look there's my friends upfront who always skip classes with me. The others are in another group." Ian said looking convinced by what Erisviel said.

"You guys! Am I the only one enjoying the sceneries and the hiking?" Looking annoyed by her friends Aurora said.

"Yes!!!!" All of them voiced out.
