112 Aurora's first day at work.

Arriving at her office, Aurora looked around and nodded in satisfaction.

She liked her office very much.

It was quite simple.

Aurora likes the simplicity of her workspace.

It's a penthouse office.

There is an L shape executive desk for her and behind the desk is an executive desk cabinet that almost covers the wall.

An L shape sofa set with a glass table a bit far from the desk in front.

A T.V is mounted on the wall in front of the sofa set.

There are a few bookshelves on the left side wall with Aurora's favourite books.

The whole interior colour scheme is white, grey and black.

The floor is onyx marbled tiled, a bit greyish.

The right side is fully tempered glasses with a door in the middle, entrance to the patio.

She was asked some time ago by Carter, does she need a bed and a wardrobe for change in her office.

Aurora declined.

Unless it's her bed at home or she is sharing a bed with Aaron, Aurora can't sleep very well.

The furniture and the decorations that are in her office are simple and minimalistic.

She walked towards the entrance to the patio.

There are a few furniture and plant decoration outside.

The view from her penthouse patio is very beautiful.

"I'm satisfied with the interior design of the office, Mr Carter." Aurora said before returning inside and taking a seat on her chair at the desk.

"Aside from the 'date' that I have today, can you please tell me my schedule this week Mr Carter?"

"And please, inform Mr Johnson that I will not be able to see him today. Also, tell him that I'm very busy today and If it's possible then please ask him to reschedule the 'date' at the weekend."

Carter then informed Aurora about her schedule this week.

Aside from a little break on the weekend, she has tons of work.

Not only that, but she also has studies as well as many things to do besides looking after this A&T branch.

Aurora sighed multiple times hearing her schedule, which Carter found funny and cute?

Carter only thought for a second before he discarded those thoughts and resumed informing Aurora about her work in this A&T branch.

But even still the little free time that Aurora has in the evening at the weekend has also been snatched by more troublesome stuff.

'The date.'

If Aurora is honest with herself, the whole Blood mumbo-jumbo is too complicated.

Still, she must go attend and entertain that Johnson fellow at the weekend.

There has been unrest in the Blood family.

If she doesn't go through with the date then people will point fingers at her father and stuff.

Her father is already in a lot of pressure as Aaron is still rejecting the 'Blood Token'.

The 'Blood Token' is given to those who are the candidates to succeed in the 'Blood selection'.

Whoever successfully wins the whole 'Blood selection' and take the oath of the 'Blood legitimacy' will become the next Blood patriarch.

Thinking about Aaron, Aurora suddenly became sad and gloomy.

They have been fighting for so long, there's no proper conversation between them.

Both of them argues and gives each other the silent treatment

It has been hard on Aurora and she knows it's the same for Aaron.

Both siblings are each other pillars.

This fight that has been going for so long is really surprising to all of their friends and family.

It also proves how similar both are and how extremely stubborn they are.

The telepathic channel has been silent for months.

And Aurora doesn't feel the emotions of her brother or Nyx.

But there is something that she hasn't told anyone even Aaron.

It was really surprising that such an ability exists only to her.

Even her brother Aaron doesn't have this ability.

Aurora has a unique ability that lets her see what Aaron sees.

She found out about it three years ago, after Trinity Crown fell.

One day, she suddenly started seeing what Aaron sees.

It's mysterious, how this ability came to be.

But thinking about it, it might be her special ability.

For example, Aaron has a single soul operating two bodies.

While she, Aurora has a unique ability that lets her see what Aaron sees.

She knows that this might be all BS but at least she can believe in this nonsense theory of hers.

At least, she can give out a reason why such an ability exists only to her.

After talking to Carter for half an hour, Aurora asked Carter.

"Mr Carter, what do you think about this Johnson candidate for my marriage?"

"Well, to be honest, there isn't much information about the third son. The Johnson's are a branch of the Blood's so it's not too weird about not having much information about them. The Blood family as one of the 23 Sacred Noble families and clans have enough resources to limit the amount of information on them to outsiders. Even inside the Blood family, it's hard to gather information as the Blood family is always in a chaotic state."

"By appearance, reputation and prestige, the third son is excellent. Furthermore, the third son of the Johnson has also been considered a genius by the Blood's too." Carter replied, telling Aurora everything that he knows.

"I see... Then can you prepare my food, please? Now that everything is settled here, I'm quite hungry." Since there isn't any information about her date there's no need to bother about trying to learn more information right now.

Aurora can tell Nameless to gather the information.

But for now, she feels damn too hungry!

"..." Carter was speechless, the sudden turn towards food was unexpected.

Still, looking at the time and that Ms Blood has been here in the office for almost an hour with an empty stomach till noon is surprising as there's a rumour in the Blood mansion that Aurora Blood is a great foodie and eats like a hungry beast.

Carter also has been notified about Ms Blood's eating tendency by the 'Queen' Tessiana Blood.

"Then I shall go and prepared your lunch, Ms Blood," Carter said before turning around.

"Yeah! Please, off you go!!! Need to fill this stomach of mine, it's growling like a hungry wolf. And one more thing, Mr Carter! My P.A will come tomorrow at 7 am. Please, guide her well!" Aurora said to Carter before taking out her phone and started reading a text by Aaron.

Wait, Aaron!!!

Aurora was really surprised to see a text from Aaron.

When she read the message, Aurora sighed.

It seems like her brother did something to one the partners of A&T corporation.

"That idiot! After everything, months later he finally sent a text but it's a text asking for help regarding a stupid contract!!!"

After reading the text thoroughly and finding out what kind of a little bombshell Aaron threw at Aurora.

Aurora started to work formally with Aaron's errand as her top priority.

Soon, the food arrived and she had her belly full before starting to dive back to her work once more.
