Northern Mountains

*Hanabi's POV*

"Ughhhh.... My head...", I said as I opened my eyes and saw a pile of books covering me.

I jumped out of it and landed into a table. I looked around at my surroundings and it seems like I am in a library.

"Oh god.... It seems the so called Land of Dawn is a place for book worms and geeks", I said and grabbed a book that I have been standing on.

"History of Eryu...di..two?", I mumbled as I'm trying to say the exact pronounciation of the word.

Suddenly, someone spoked at my back. "Erudito... It's pronounced as, Erudito".

I turned around and saw a young girl, with a large hammer, and with long pointy ears. I asked her, "Who.... are you?....

She replied, "The name's Lolita, the captain of the city guard here. And by the name of our king, You are under arrest!".

I was shocked to what she said, and I hurriedly replied, "Wait, what? Arrested? What have I done?".

"Uhmm. What do you think? You destroyed the roof of the public library, you ruined the shelves, and scattered the books around. You think it's not an act of property damage?", Lolita asked Hanabi about the damage she caused all around her.

Hanabi was confused on what Lolita said, she replied with an, "I guess so.....".

"Good. Now guards, arrest her!",Lolita shouted as she commands her guards to arrest Hanabi.

"Oh, great! Now I'm a criminal", Hanabi said as she tried to run away from Lolita and the guards.

"Oh no you don't!", Lolita said as she grabbed her giant hammer and smashed into the surface of the library.

"Uhmm, captain. That's not a good idea", one of the guard said to Lolita but it was too late.

"Rocket Hammer!!!", Lolita shouted as she smashed her hammer.

Everyone was stunned and was knocked out of their consciousness, all except for Lolita.

"Oh crap, maybe I shouldn't have done that", she said as she saw the damage she caused.

Meanwhile at Kagura and Franco...

After what Rooney has said to them, Kagura hurriedly went to the outside of the shack to leave and find the so called Queen Aurora of Nost Gal.

"Hey, Kagura! Comeback here!", Franco shouted as he called Kagura. Kagura turned around and asked, "Why what's wrong?".

"Uhmmm. Don't you think it's quite late to find that Queen Aurora, it's already dark!", Franco replied. The young spiritualist confidently said to him, "The early bird catches the worm".

Franco replied her, "Yeah, early for danger. The night wolves here are quite active on the route that will lead you to the fortress of that Queen Aurora, which is on the top of the northern mountain".

"Hmmmm... You've got a point there Franco. But don't you believe that the early bird catches the worm???", Kagura said to him.

The viking sighed and replied her, "Enough of your talk, Kagura. We head out into the northern mountain by morning, so better head back to the infirmary to rest for the night". Franco then returned back into the shack, leaving Kagura alone to head back to the infirmary.

"Hmmp, what's wrong with him?", Kagura said to herself as she heads back to the infirmary. "I can manage to go back to the infirmary, without him either", she added.

Morning came and Franco went to the infirmary to check up on Kagura.

He opened the door of the tent and saw her preparing for their journey to the northern mountains. "Well, you woke up early", Franco said to her.

"Ah, you're here. Goodmorning", Kagura replied as she finished in preparing for their journey. "Let's go now!", Kagura said to Franco.

"Hmm, you're quite impatient. But yeah, we should", Franco replied and went back outside of the infirmary. Kagura left the infirmary and closed the door.

She saw young vikings and adults, waving at them as they passed by the village to enter the route that will take them to the northern mountain. Kagura waved back as they said farewell to each other.

As soon as they have left the village, they saw the frozen lake which Kagura was attacked by one of the minions of Lord Bane.

"It brings you memories, doesn't it?", Franco asked her. "Yep, horrible ones", Kagura replied and both of them laughed.

After hours of walking, the have reached the foot of the northern mountain.

"Wow, so we're entering a large frozen forest?", Kagura asked. "Yes, we are", Franco replied as they entered the frozen forest.

Everything in the forest was frozen, the trees, the soil, the plants, were all frozen. They haven't even encountered a single animal in the forest ,due to the very low temperature on it. It seems life itself, has rejected this place.

Kagura was wondering on how this once lively forest, became a total frozen wasteland. Franco noticed what she was thinking and replied, "These all happened when that Queen Aurora inhabited this place after her war against the alien invasion in the borders of Nost Gal".

Kagura was surprised upon hearing what Franco said, "Her powers must have caused all of these, resulting in turning this mountain into a frozen wasteland. Maybe she was hurt after that battle or she lost someone beloved to her", she replied.

"Yeah,maybe she was", Franco replied. Kagura was starting to get interested on what kind of person is this so-called Guardian of the Land of Dawn.

"Uhmm, Franco? Can you tell what was Queen Aurora before all of these happened?", Kagura asked. Franco sighed and told the story of Queen Aurora to her.

"Legends told that, Queen Aurora was born in a windstorm and with the great power of controlling ice and snow. She was known here as the queen of this place, the northernmost land in the Land of Dawn - Nost Gal. She also earned the title of being called as The Dominator of the Frozen Seas, and the Guardian of Land Dawn. As one of the four Guardians of the Land of Dawn, she undertakes all those responsibilities of protecting this world, protecting its border and ensuring its safety from the space time rifts and monsters.", Franco said.

"Wow, her story was interesting. But all of that job of protecting this land was quite hard and exhausting", Kagura replied.

"What about your story? A village girl that ran away from own her village to find her childhood friend?", Franco said to her.

"Hmmmm. You're correct but add that she also stole her family's sacred artifact - the Seimei umbrella", Kagura replied and laughed.

"What about you Franco? Why do you hate Queen Aurora that much? Is it because that she didn't helped you when Bane once attacked your village?" she asked.

"It's not that hate her that much, it's because I just don't like the way she treated other people. I once came to her fortress in this mountain to ask for a little help to defend our village against the invasion of the reincarnated Lord Bane of the Seven Seas. But she told that she doesn't care about my village, and told me to leave her fortress at once or she will freeze me to death", Franco replied.

"That's kinda sad, but I think something is off. Did you see her doing something strange,back when you came to see her?", Kagura asked.

"Hmmm.... Yes I think so. I saw her covering her left hand and she doesn't turned or looked at me when we spoke before", Franco replied.

"Did the war between her and the aliens who tried to invade this place happened before Lord Bane attacked your village?", Kagura asked.

Franco nodded and Kagura sighed.

"I'm sure we'll get more answers and informations when we reached the top of this mountain", Kagura said while still walking in the frozen forest of the mountain.

*Hanabi's POV*

Why does my head hurts?..... Ow.....

I woke up and notice that my hands were being tied up by something. I panicked and I remembered all what happened before I was knocked out of my consciousness.

I saw the girl from the library staring at me. I screamed, "Let me go! Let me go before you regret it".

I thought I scared her but that dumb girl laughed....

Meanwhile at the Enchanted Forest....

"I think we lost them, don't you think Miya?", Nana said as kept gasping for air.

"That's the longest run, I have ever done since I left my home", Miya replied as she was also chasing her breath.

"Man, carrying these Leonins made the work even harder", Hayabusa added. The Leonins in the caged looked at Hayabusa angrily.

"Woah, calm down there. I'm just joking!", Hayabusa added.
