17 Chapter 16: The Interrogation

"I'm surprised that you're still… Alive." Said David as he took a good glimpse of the kneeling man. "You are going too easy on him."

Jeff rolled his eyes as he twirled his dagger that was covered in blood in his fingers. The lieutenant was taught to be patient, but the incident between him and the maid happened so quickly, and he was mad at himself, he let his anger take over him and never got the chance to take more intel out of Kari.

Completely irritated by the General's remark, he chose to shut his mouth.

The General clicked his tongue and crossed his arms, "Who is your master, Enno?"

"I don't know!" Enno screamed, his body aching and bloody, he was in pain. The Lieutenant made him suffer, deep wounds that will be turned to scars, but he is certain that he would not get to see his scars. He might die from blood loss any moment now.

David, not pleased by his answer, kicked him in the stomach, "I am not a fool, just cooperate with us and your life will be spared."
