Grammatical errors ahead.

Another day had passed and the prince still no word from the Majesties' about the Crown Prince.

And things that's been going on currently with Rose's life is quite uneventful. Same things every day, wake up, get ready for the day, have breakfast, get to work and find possible cures for the prince, help Ara with the apothecary, taking care of the medicinal plants in the garden, go back to the main house, getting ready for dinner, after that, she goes to her bedroom, stay up watching the skies then, sleep.

The routine keeps on going until she decided to go to the city and explore. She remembered the Enno wants to be the one to be her guide while roaming in the city.

Rose shook her head to the sides as she went to her bathroom to wash up and get dressed for the day. She cursed herself for almost trusting the man, he looks so kind and gentle, she did not expect him to be the spy, who is also trying to kill her. Looks are definitely deceiving. Rose needs to keep her guard up and do better, she was taught better than this.

After her morning rituals, she went to the garden, where she usually eat her breakfast with her nephew Demi. Rose walked through the hallway, down the stairs and went to the back, following the white walls of the hallway, to the garden. She finally arrived and stood in the back porch, breathing the fresh air and the garden's fragrance from the flowers.

Rose was thinking of taking Demi with her, and have some bonding time with him, he has been in this manor since they moved, and never got the glimpse of the beautiful city, she wants her nephew to enjoy his life as a child too. She wants him to explore instead of being stuck in a boring manor.

She directly went to take a seat near a tree, farthest from the bed of flowers. Demi asked her aunt if it is alright for them to sit there for his nose is so sensitive that if he breathes too mucn of the flowers' fragrance it will hurt and damage his nose. And of course being the nice aunt she is, she wants what is best for her dear Demitri.

"Good morning, auntie." He greeted as he took a seat across her.

"Good morning, Demitri."

The boy raised a brow at his aunt's response, it is very rare for somebody to call him Demitri, her aunt usually calls her Demi.

"Is there something the matter?" He asked, as their breakfast were placed on their table.

"Nothing at all." She replied taking a sip of her coffee and took a bite of her biscuits. The bitterness from the coffee and the sweetness from the biscuit, mixed up in her tongue, making her hum in delight.

While Demi, shifted in his seat with a bit of discomfort laced in his face. "I know there is something you want to say, auntie."

Rose sighed and placed her food back to the plate, "I know, you are too young and all of that, but you need to get out of this boring manor sometimes. Explore the cities, meet friends, and enjoy life."

Demi gave Rose a look as if she is crazy, "auntie, you do realize that you are placing my life into danger for helping you in your mission, and now you are here, just realized that I am too young and doesn't have a life."

"And also, papa would obviously not allow me to go out, because as you said, I am too young for everything." He rolled his eyes and ate his food. He just can't believe that his aunt, one of the greatest doctors out there, being called intelligent. Is this dumb.

Rose huffed at Demi's response, everything is flipped between the two of them, the nephew being the mature one and Rose being the childish one.

Of course, David would not allow his son to go out, because as what she said, he is too young and precious.

But slowly her frown turned into a smile, a thought clicked in her head, and she knows that David would go crazy.

"What are you thinking of, auntie?"

She clicked her tongue and shifted to her seat in a comfortable position, looking at Demi with a mischievous eyes. Her smile so wide that it made Demi worried.

"You know, you may be young but you are mentally mature. You can handle things that adults usually can't and that is what makes you different. The time you pushed Jeff and I back there was incredible. And of course I can take care of my nephew."

"What are you proposing?" Demi raised a brow in interest. For her to complement him like that, something is definitely up, and he is certain that it is not good at all.

Rose sipped her coffee and placed it down, wiping her mouth with a napkin, before smiling again at Demi, who is patiently waiting for her to talk.

"Why don't I sneak you out of here? We can explore the city together." Rose whispered.

Demi's face lit up in excitement. Him? Sneaking out? It would be amazing to break rules sometimes, and his aunt is right. It is boring being stuck in here all of his life, he may be young but his mind is mature enough.

Sneaking out wouldn't be that bad, right? What could go wrong?

Demi returned his aunt's smile with the same mischievous one. "I would certainly love to accompany you."

The aunt and nephew pair laughed and finished their breakfast before getting ready for their adventure.

Rose went back to her room to grab a cloak from her closet. She is overly excited to all of this, sneaking and hanging out with her nephew will be amazing! And she can't wait for David's reaction once he hears that his son and sister is out in the city by themselves. Yes, it is dangerous, but she is willing to take the risks for her enjoyment.

Of course, she would protect her nephew from any harm, and so she also got her dagger and strapped a belt to her waist for it so that it will be easier for her to grab it and protect both her and Demi.

She also got her drawstring pouch with gold coins inside of it and tied it to her waist the opposite side of where the dagger is placed.

Looking at the mirror, she gazed at her outfit carefully. Satisfied, she walked out of her room and went straight to Demi's room.

She walked through the familiar hallways and stopped in front of a white door. Knocking, she waited for a few seconds until the white door was opened by the boy.

He is wearing a green brocade waistcoat with an ivory white shirt underneath and was paired with a simple black trousers. A brown cloak was hanging in his arms as he silently closed his door behind him.

"We are wearing the same color." Rose deadpanned, boringly stared at the boy's outfit.

"I figured that maybe we could match." Demi smiled happily at his aunt and went ahead of her.

The two went down and walked out of the house as silently as they can, before they could even reach the bottom stairs, a voice stopped them in their tracks.

"Where are you two going?"

Both turned around slowly, seeing Riza's fine eyebrows raising at them in curiosity. Demi gulped nervously while Rose smiled at her sweetly, crouching a bit and placed her hands on the boy's shoulders.

"Oh! we are just going around the manor, yes? Have some bonding time with my dear nephew."

As Rose made more excuses, Riza seemed to be amused by it. She covered her mouth, refraining herself to giggle as Rose kept on making excuses.

Demi who looked utterly confused and stressed at the same time, finally stopped Rose from talking.

"Why are you laughing mama?"

"What? I am not." Riza regained her posture and sighed happily.

"Yeah, sure." Rose crossed her arms and glared at the woman in front of them. She was totally embarrassed! Who wouldn't be! She's right in front of Riza making stupid excuses for them, looking all like a fool, like a child!

"I am asking again. Where are you two going?"

"I am here, talking about it and you didn't even care to listen! Unbelievable!" Rose cried.

"Drop the act, Rose." Riza rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "I know where you two are going."

"Alright, fine!" Rose exclaimed exasperatedly, raising her hands as if she was caught by an officer. "We are going out and explore the nearby city, you need your son to get used to some bustling streets and markets while he's young."

"He is five."

"And? I remembered you snuck out with your nanny when you were the same age as Demi." Rose smirked in victory, no way she can get out of that. "That young, huh? Mind so bright at a young age, your family is truly blessed, The Holin lineage is sure full of young and bright and matured minds."

"Shush." Riza scowled.

"What? Mama, really?" Demi asked her mother with his amber eyes marvelling at her. He never knew that his mother, a gentle woman could be such a rebel at her younger days, then again, her mother would never tell him stories with kind of things in hopes for him not to be one, and yet here they are.

"Enough. I give you my permission." She said and smiled. Her son can finally have some time to enjoy every once in awhile. "But be back before the night falls, I don't want you two to be in trouble. Am I clear?"

"Of course." Rose answered and smiled, she is glad that Riza is an easy-going mother and let's her child to go and have fun.

"And take John with you, he knows the city well, he can guide you to the nice spots in the city."

Rose raised a brow. "John?"

Demi smiled at her, "he is my personal guard."

Rose only nodded and agreed to have him with them, it is much better to have someone who is familiar with the place.

"Thank you, mama." Demi said and hugged her mother, who crouched down to return the hug and kissed her son's cheek.

Demi smiled and hurriedly followed her aunt outside of the house.

"Be a good boy, Demitri! Don't give your aunt headaches!" Riza called while Demi replied with a quick okay as he ran down the steps outside of the house.

As the boy finally catched up with Rose, they both discussed on what kind of shops they should go and both agreed of one thing that is usually on top of their list, and that is to visit pastry shops.

As they arrived at the stables, Rose noticed a man standing by the stables with a black cloth draping what it seems to be a cloak in his arm and a round, soft cap made of cloth, with a short hardened peak in his hand, seemingly waiting for somebody.

"John!" The man turned their way and smiled at the boy who called him, while giving Rose a curt nod.

He is fairly tall, with a nice auburn hair and beautiful light brown eyes, his straight nose and thin lips complemented his face very well. He was wearing a black waistcoat with a white shirt underneath, paired with a plain black trousers and leather boots.

"You must be Doctor Rose Izamae, the General's sister?" John's voice somehow surprised Rose, it is quite unique for her as it is somewhat deep and nasal. His voice is sure kind of different from what he looks like.

Clearing her mind from the distractions. Rose gave the man with a small smile, "Yes, that is me. And you are John, my nephew's personal guard?"

"That is me. Lady Riza told me that you and Young Master Demi are going somewhere?" He said ruffling his auburn hair as they grabbed their ride.

"Yes, I find the day boring. I want to go out and explore for a bit, with my nephew too."

Demi pulled Rose's cloak, "Are we not taking the carriage?"

Rose stared down at Demi. "I don't quite like it. It is like you are trapped inside of a small box. I'd rather have the air hit my skin and hair."

John and Demi nodded, completely understood what she said. Rose grabbed Gin out of the stables, while John grabbed his own.

They decided that Demi should ride with John since he is much more experienced in riding with somebody. And so, he lifted Demi up and sat him down the horse's back.

Rose pushed herself up and got ready for their departure, she turned her head to the boys behind her and told them to wear their cloaks.

As they were done getting ready, they finally went to the city and explore it's amazing spots.
