CHAPTER 6: JAZZ

THE NEXT DAY

Kylee, who was already seated in class, saw Jazz giving her a friendly smile. It wasn't hard for her to know Jazz had to be up to something, and she wasn't going to fall for it.

Shaking her head, she turned her attention away from Jazz and back to the class. She then came face to face with someone who looked like Jazz. Kylee realized it must be Jazz's sister. Jane flashed a smile at Kylee.

"Great. The witch has a twin." Kylee thought to herself. Jane then made her way toward her and Jordan.

"Don't think we've met. I'm Jane Blossom."

"You must be Jazz's sister then. You're not a problem child too, are you?"

Jane laughed. "I can assure you I'm not."

"Don't worry. Jane is a close friend of mine. She's cool." Jordan spoke up.

"Well, in that case, thank God. One less cousin to fight."

"Cousins?" Jordan asked, surprised.

"Wait, you are aware we're related?" Jane asked, surprised.

"Of course I am. Before my mom sent me here, she told me about your witch of a mother." The expression on kylie's face could show how angry she was at Katrine.

"That's a mean thing to say about someone's mom, Kylee." Jordan laughs.

"Trust me, Kylee. Everyone in this town knows how much of a witch my mom is." Jane says as she takes her seat behind Kylee..

          AT THE BASKETBALL COURT

Jordan and Kylee were having a little picnic on the basketball court, talking and laughing until Jazz walked in on them. A smile was on her face.

"Hi guys. What are you both up to?"

"Nothing much. We were just hanging out, talking." Jordan replied.

"Talking about what?" Jazz quickly asks.

"Movies and stuff. I don't think the type you would like, though." Jordan added quickly.

"Try me." Jazz said as she sat down with them.

"Well, we were talking about Black Lightning and-" Kylee begins but Jazz cut her short.

"Oh, black lightning! I love that movie."

"Jazz-" Jordans says. "It's a series, not a movie."

"Of course, I knew that." she gave a nervous laugh.

"So what's your favourite scene, Jazz?" Kylee asked. "Mine was when Khalil finally meets his twin brother, painkiller."

"Oh, yeah, that part was really good." she said. "I loved the surprised look on his face when he saw him." Jazz felt confident about her answer.

Kylee and Jordan both burst into a laugh, leaving Jazz in total confusion.

"Khalil doesn't have a twin brother. Khalil and painkiller happens to be the same person."

Jordan said, still laughing really hard.

Jazz was so embarrassed and angry at Kylee. She got up from where she was sifted and stormed out angrily.

       AT THE BLOSSOM'S MANSION

Jazz finally arrived home, upset and angry once again. "I hate her! I hate her! I hate her!"

Jazz screamed as she stepped into the house.

"Jazz? What's wrong this time?" Katrine asked as Jazz stormed right passed her.

"I don't want to talk about it."

Jazz ran up to her room and slammed the door. She threw her bag on the bed once she was inside and stood in front of her dressing mirror.

"How can anyone think they can bully me and go free?" Jazz asked herself as she looked at the mirror. "Have fun while it lasts, Kylee, cause when I get the chance, I'll make you pay, just you wait and see."
