Chapter 39: Let's Date!

Evan stopped and turned to look at him. He shoved both his hands in his pockets and walked up to Sam slowly, leisurely.

He scoffed in Sam's face.

'This was interesting... Had that been a flirty invitation?...' He stared at Sam.

'He knew this guy's reputation. But the way Sam was looking at him. It felt a bit like a spark... But maybe he was reading into things?'

'No harm in testing the waters... Right?' Evan thought hopefully.

He took one more step in, closing the gap between them. Then he pulled a hand out from his pocket and stepped in close enough that their faces were only a few inches away from each other. He pointed at Sam, then slowly turned his index finger to point at himself.

"I am gay, did you forget already?" He masked his voice into curt annoyance.

Sam smirked and leaned forward so that they were almost lip to lip, bringing their heads to the exact same height.

"Nope, not at all."
