4 Chen XiFeng or Zhao FengXi?

Chen XiFeng was sitting near the lake when Zhao FengXi sat next to her. Chen XiFeng titled her neck to see the new face.

"I am Zhao FengXi, And you are?"

"I am Chen XiFeng"

"It's beautiful here, right?" Zhao FengXi asked her.

"Yes. So beautiful that I don't wish to leave the place. But I have to go" Chen XiFeng grinned.

"Why?" Zhao FengXi asked her.

"What you mean by 'Why?'. Of course I have to go or else my family get worried" Chen XiFeng said.

"Your family must be really like you right?" Zhao FengXi asked her. "No" she shook her head, "They love me. I am the Apple of the eye to my family members. They won't even let me get a boyfriend saying everyone is too good for me" Chen XiFeng pouted her lips.

"But no more worries. My friend Ruo Lan and I planned to get a boyfriend when we join the college. This time I will get a boyfriend for myself" Chen XiFeng showed her fist. Zhao FengXi smiled at her silliness.

"I hope you get one" Zhao FengXi ruffled her hair. "Come let's go. Our family might be looking for us" Chen XiFeng got up and started to walk. But Zhao FengXi remained seated. So Chen XiFeng went to her and pulled Zhao FengXi's hands, "What are you waiting for? Come let's go"

Zhao FengXi stood from her place, "I am not going back. If I return, there will be no one waiting for me. But if you return your whole family will be happy. So I want you to return"

"Hey dude, what are you saying? It's getting dark. Come let's go" Chen XiFeng held her hands hoping Zhao FengXi will go back with her.

But instead Zhao FengXi released her hands and cupped Chen XiFeng's cheeks, "Chen XiFeng live your life as you wish. Don't lose your smile for anyone or anything. Don't let your smile to hurt others. Live the fullest. Hope your smile never fade from your face"

Zhao FengXi smiled before she pushed Chen XiFeng into the river. Chen XiFeng was shocked and tried to grab Zhao FengXi's hand, but she failed. Before Chen XiFeng fell into the river, she saw a single tear fell from Zhao FengXi's eyes.

"Call the doctor"

"The patient is regaining her conscious"

Chen XiFeng heard some noises. Patient? Who is the patient here?

When she tried to open her eyes she couldn't open it. 'Why can't she open her eyes'

Suddenly she felt her left eye were opened manually and then her right eye.

'Who the hell is he? Why is he flashing the light into my eyes. He must be crazy'

"Doctor, how is my friend?"

"Your friend almost got healed. Once the patient woke up, you can take her home within a couple of days"

"Thank you Doctor. Thank you so much"

"It's my duty. If there's is any problem call me"

"Sure"

Chen XiFeng don't know what's happening around her. She was puzzled why in the world she can't move her body or open her eyes?

Chen XiFeng felt there is no energy in her. So she stopped trying.

After some time Chen XiFeng slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was the ceiling. And then she turned left to see a girl lying on the hospital bed. Then she turned right to see a guy dozing off sitting on the chair.

Her eyes wandered the room hoping to see her family members. But no one seems to be there. Chen XiFeng tried to remember why she was in the hospital but she couldn't able to remember anything other than arguing with Xiao Zhan in her brother's wedding.

Chen XiFeng tried to get up on her own, but she failed. Then the guy heard the sound and woke up from his sleep. He saw his friend was awake. "Oh My God, finally you opened your eyes" he hugged her.

Chen XiFeng startled by his sudden gestures, so she pushed him, "W-What are you doing?" her voice almost came as whisper. "What you mean by that? Consider yourself lucky that I didn't kill you" He puffed his cheeks in anger.

Chen XiFeng just startled at his statement, "You want to k-kill me? for w-what? M-Money?"

"What the hell are you spouting?" he came to her to make her sit, but Chen XiFeng moved away from him.

"Hey what happened to you? It's me Zhi Chun. Your childhood bestie" He waved his hand in front of her.

"What are you saying? Are you escaped from the asylum? I don't even know you" Chen XiFeng pushed his hand away from her.

Zhi Chun blinked his eyes trying to understand his friend behavior. He scratched his head and suddenly shouted, "I know. I know what's happening"

Chen XiFeng was curious about what he knew. "I knew it. I have seen it in many dramas. You got that" He pointed his fingers at her. "I got what?" Chen XiFeng raised her eyebrows.

"You got amnesia" Chen XiFeng scoffed at his nonsense.

"Psycho" she shook her head.

Zhi Chun gasped at his friend's comment. He got scared what if his friend really got an amnesia?

Zhi Chun inhaled and screamed at the top of his lungs, "DOCTOR MY FRIEND GOT AN AMNESIA"

Chen XiFeng covered her eyes, "Hey keep your voice down. Can't you see the patient resting in the next bed" Chen XiFeng pointed her left without turning.

Zhi Chun blinked twice. Once again he deeply inhaled, "DOCTOR MY FRIEND GONE INSANE"

Chen XiFeng really wants to stitch his mouth with the needle, but before she could do that doctors and nurses rushed towards her.

"What? What happened?" The doctor asked him.

"Doctor, I want my friend back. She really forgotten me. She got an amnesia. What should I do?" Zhi Chun grabbed the collar of the doctor and cried.

'Such a drama queen like Ruo Lan' Chen XiFeng rolled her eyes.

"First leave me so that I can check on the patient" Doctor freed himself from Zhi Chun and walked towards Chen XiFeng.

"Can you able to understand what am I saying?" he asked her.

"Yes"

"Can you tell me where are you now?"

"On the hospital bed"

Nurses chuckled by her answer. The Doctor frowned because of Chen XiFeng's answer, "These youngsters nowadays. Just leave it. can you tell me your name?"

"Chen XiFeng"

The room fell into silence.

"What are you saying? Your name is Zhao FengXi" Zhi Chun shouted.

"What the nonsense are you saying?" Chen XiFeng looked at her right. "But why is that girl looking at me" Chen XiFeng pointed her fingers at the person.

"There is no patient here other than you. This is a VIP ward. And the person you are referring is you, Zhao FengXi. This is a mirror" The Doctor said as he stood beside the mirror which shows his reflection as well. Chen XiFeng eyes widened in shock.

"Ah now I remember. Isn't that girl who died one month ago, Chen XiFeng. Her brother is also doctor. Chen Yi, he is the one who signed your consent form" one of the nurse said.

Chen XiFeng couldn't able to grasp the situation. She is alive, but why are they saying that she's dead. That also it's been one month.

"Doctor, what happened to her. I am sacred to see her like this" Zhi Chun eyes filled with tears.

"Zhao FengXi was-" before the Doctor could say anything he was stopped by Chen XiFeng "Can you tell me what really happened to Chen XiFeng?"

The nurse looked at the Doctor when he nodded his head she continued, "Chen XiFeng admitted here at the same time as you. The reason is because of an Accident. Chandelier in the wedding hall fell on top of her. When she reached here she was already in a critical state, she lost most of the blood.

Her face was ruined because of the glass shreds, also I heard there was a glass piece stuck near her heart. The Doctors tried to remove the glass, but they are unable to save her. So she died during the surgery"

Chen XiFeng was carefully listening to everything she said. "Then what about Zhao FengXi?"

"Your case is different, but almost the same. You tried to commit suicide. You slit your wrist. Your friend over here found you in the bathroom in the middle of the blood. When you arrived here, you were also in a critical state. You even had a Pneumothorax.

Your whole body was filled with bruises. On the surgery table for five minutes your heart stopped beating. When we were getting ready to announce your death to your family suddenly you vitals came back. We were finally able to save you. But for some reasons you were in coma for past one month" The Doctor who done the surgery on Zhao FengXi answered her question.

Couple of minutes passed but there is no any reaction from her. She just stared at her reflection on the mirror who stared back at her.

Zhi Chun tried to come to her, but she stopped him, "Leave I want to be alone"

"But Zhao FengXi we need to know your condition, so that we can treat you" The Doctor said to her.

"Please, Please. I beg you to leave me alone. I promise you I wont do anything stupid" Chen XiFeng never averted her eyes from the mirror.

The Doctor signaled the others to leave. Zhi Chun gave one last look at his friend before closing the door.

Chen XiFeng slowly got down from the bed. Maybe laying on the bed for so long made her body weak. Somehow she managed and stood in front of the mirror.

"Why am I in your body? Why the real me dead and why my soul is in your body?"

The reflection on the mirror shown the Zhao FengXi standing next to her was Chen FengXi.

Chen XiFeng widened her eyes seeing herself and Zhao FengXi on the mirror.

"I know you were shocked. You have so many questions to ask but I don't have answers for your questions. I don't have the courage to live in this cruel world anymore. But you got the second chance to be alive. Here after you have to live as Zhao FengXi. Life your life in my place. Be happy" Zhao FengXi tried to touch Chen XiFeng's hands but before she could reach her, Zhao FengXi disappeared into thin smoke.

Chen XiFeng was standing into daze, before she could realize what's happening around her. She blinked twice and saw the reflection of herself but not as Chen XiFeng but as ZhaoFengXi.

Life is so cruel.

She is dead.

Chen XiFeng started to cry aloud clutching her heart, because she couldn't able accept the fact that she can't live as Chen XiFeng, but she.. she has to live her entire life as Zhao FengXi, as a stranger.
