1 Our Crazy Love- Chapter 1

Luke heard the whistle ring and got up quickly. He ran to his sleeping children's shared bedroom and awakened the sleeping twins. The twin whined for being woken up at unholy hours until they saw the look on their father's face. Luna got up, being the more "mature" twin, and got dressed slowly, not being fully awake yet. Her twin, Lunex, lay in his bed wishing for more sleep.

He slowly gets up and ready after much of his father's hushed words. As Lunex goes to get dressed, Luke grabs a backpack and fills it with necessities. Such as clothes, two toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc, entered the big bag.

Once the small family had packed enough for a little while of being gone they head out to the living room. Luke avoids the twin's looks of confusion being thrown towards him and instead hurriedly makes sure they have everything they need.

"Papa, what's happening?" Luna asks. But Luke isn't paying attention. Instead, he picked up a barley awake Lunex. He motions for Luna to come to him and she obediently does. "Hun, there are some bad guys out there trying to get us so we need to leave. Okay?" The male asks. Luna gets the gist and does what she can to be helpful.

Twenty minutes later they have everything ready completely and finally managed to get Lunex fully awake. They ate a quick breakfast seeing as they just woke up and would be traveling for a while."We need to go now. We need to be very quiet ok?" Luke asks his kids. "Okay, dad." They head out and shift into their wolf forms. They carry their bags in their mouths.

A couple of hours of traveling in the forest later, it is noon of day. Luke guides them to a place where they can shift without being seen and change. Once they stop and change, they head out to a close McDonald's to grab something to eat really fast. They order, eat, and then play around for a while.

By running in their wolf forms they traveled a great distance. The location Luke settled on is only about another hour away from where they were. "Where are we going, dad?" Lunex asked his father. "We're moving bub," he replies. "Yeah the scary people were gonna g-" Luna cuts off after seeing the look from her father.

Lunex has a tendency to be scared and freak out very easily. So Luke wanted to keep that between Luna and him because Luna had always been able to process things better. "What?" Lunex questions. "Damn it," he pauses and looks at Luna, who's giving him a sorry look, "Some bad people are looking for us right now bub and we had to leave to stay safe." "W-What? A-Are we gonna be okay dad?" "Yes, we'll be fine because we left. No need to worry bud," Luke answers hurriedly, knowing that Lunex would have a panic attack.

Lunex calms down and they leave after paying. "Where are we gonna move to?" Luna tries again. But, Luke ignores her and walks away to undress and shift. "Ugh ok whatever, don't answer then." Fawn, Luna's wolf, throws in knowing Luke heard the question from Luna. Luna just rolls her eyes at her wolf knowing that no one else heard the complaint except her because she said it through their bond-link.

All three members shift and start heading to the small town they would soon call home. They soon saw the town in the distance. Lunex hears rustling in the bushes off to the side but thinks nothing of it.

They go for a few more minutes when they hear the piercing sound of a gunshot. There was no scream and that's when they knew something was wrong. Luke started to slow down and finally came to a stop. The pups mirrored their father's action and listened into the woods.

Nothing.

They start on their way again slowly. Ears peeked Lunex hears something again. He goes closer to his dad for comfort. The rustling stops and so does Lunex. Luke takes notice of this and slows to a stop looking back at his son. Lunex is sniffing the ground and Luna is slowly creeping on. Luke goes to his son wondering what has stopped him.

"Lu what are you sni-" Luke is cut off by a growl and then a whimper. He spins around only to find Luna crouching in front of a human ready to attack. The person then put their gun to Luna's furry head. Luke growls at the sight and Lunex growls shortly after once he mapped out the situation. The female pup whimpers again not knowing what to do. Luke growls again but louder. A lot louder.

Upon hearing the larger male the human pulls their gun away from Luna. She points it at Luke, who has come noticeably closer, seeing as he is the bigger threat. Still growling Luke cautiously comes closer. While the human has her attention on Luke, Luna scampers to him and goes behind.

The human laughs and then pulls the trigger. What didn't happen was that it went through the alpha male and killed him. No, he walked closer and growled even more. As he was an older wolf he knew he could take the bullet but the twins couldn't. The woman shot again only for the same thing to happen. The bullet bounced off again.

"What is that? A 66?" Luke growls but there is no answer given. He pushes the female and has his pups run with him. They run and finally reach the town after 45 minutes or so. 'That was a lot farther than I anticipated' Luna thinks.

Once they arrive, they shift, while still in the forest, and change. Walking into town using the main road, they see the "Welcome To Pawfang" town sign. Luke grabs his twin's hands and runs by all the shops, departments, and houses. 'I need to find someone. I can't be with them any longer, Jig. You saw what happened,' Luke talks to his wolf Jigsaw. 'I know let me look.'

They reach a school track field and see a group of people leaving. Two humans stood by the fence talking while a group of 15-20 people left. Luke checked that no one was near and went towards the boys.

"Them. That's them. They will do it." Jigsaw announced. "You sure?" 'Yes.' Luke didn't question anymore because he knew Jigsaw was great at seeing through people and makes good decisions. Luke took the twin's hands again and went up to the stranger teenage boys.

They reached the boys and looked around. "Hello." Luke welcomed so they would notice the family's presence. "Um hey?" The shorter male responded awkwardly. "My name is Luke. These are my kids, Lunex and Luna," he stops to point them out, "What are your names?" he asks. "I'm Drake. This is Adrian." The taller one spoke. "How old are you two?" Luke questions. "16 and 14." Luke just nods. 'Are you sure Jig? These two are pretty young? I mean the younger one is only 2 years older than the twins.' 'I'm sure Luke.' 'Okay then.'

"Sooo who are you? Like what are you talking to us for?" Adrian asks. "Okay, so this is going to sound pretty weird, but I need you two to watch Luna and Lunex for a while," Luke says to the teen brothers. They sit there dumbfounded for a while. Drake is the first one to shake himself out of the shock, "U-Us? Him and I watch your kids? We don't even know you? Why us? Why do we need to watch your kids?"

"It's very complicated. Please." Luke gives them a pleading look. "How old are they and how long?" Adrian asks this time. "They are twelve and I don't know how long I will be gone... Luna and Lunex can you go play while I talk to these people?" Luke asks when he notices the twins have been staring at him without speaking. "S-sure dad."

Luna leads over to the field in the middle of the track. "Do you think dad is trying to get rid of us?" Luna shakes her head, "Maybe it's about the bad guys Lu." "Maybe," he sighs. "Hey Luna?" Lunex calls out. "Yeah?" "I felt something weird when the shorter boy looked at me." "Like what Lu?" "Like I wanted to go and hug him and butterflies everywhere." Luna just gives him a knowing look and stays silent. "So what does that mean?" Lunex presses. "You'll see lil' bro."

"Honestly I don't know if I'll be able to come back. Please can you do this?" Luke asks the boys. "How do you trust us not to do anything? and forever?" Adrian hesitantly asks. "I know you won't do anything to them. I do plan on coming back if I can but keep a forever mindset in case." The boys look at each other and have a conversation with their eyes. They look at Luke and notice how desperate and vulnerable he looks. He is in need. He's begging. The boys look at each other again.

"Yes."

"Really? Thank you so much, boys." he looks at them gratefully and feels as if a hundred 10 pound weights were just lifted off his shoulders. The boys nod and look at each other with worry.

Luke calls the twins over and the boys start a conversation with them.

'Hello, I'm Drake" "I'm Adrian" They both smile and converse with the twins.
