8 Gathering

They piled up the dead bodies behind the village and burned them.

Jonas was thinking a lot about those youths he killed. He didn't feel bad about it. But the way they fought reminded him of the chinese novels he read in the past.

"Listen guys, I think I figured out why they are different from us. If I'm not wrong the native people here are Cultivators."

"Cultivators?"

"Yes, there are many similarities between them and the novels I know. The weak guys were most likely at the Body Tempering Stage and the arrogant brat should have reached the Core Building Stage."

Dino placed his hand on his chin, "You could probably be right."

Jonas continued, "And these clothes, I bet my black *ss that they are from the same sect.No doubt, we are in a Cultivation World, this is so awesome. If I think about it we use a similar way to gain strength as the beasts."

They found it mind blowing. The more they thought about it, the more they felt that Jonas theory was spot on.

Time passed by and they already spent almost 2 months on this world.

They realised that the material from which the clothes were made weren't common. They didn't have any scratch after all the time they used them. Their strengths improved every day bit by bit. It still would take them more time to reach the Third Stage. Even though they roamed through the forest they didn't found another Spirit Beast.

While absorbing the Solar Energy on their usual spot, they picked up sounds of people rushing into the village. It was Koray's turn to fight who ever showed up. He was inwardly excited, but still stood in the middle of the road with his arms crossed and an bored look on his face. He looked like the final boss one needs to beat. Jonas and Dino gave him thumbs up.

But Koray was left disappointed, a pair of 3 people walked to him. In the middle was Max. The other two should be Claudia and Apo.

Claudia was smaller than the other two with 1.67 meters. She had a pretty face, long brown hair and hazel eyes. He body looked petite, but a freezing cold air was surrounding her, which made her look like an ice beauty. She weared a blue sweatshirt, a with holes filled jeans and chucks.

Apo was almost as tall as Koray. There was no aura leaking out from him at all. But the same applied for Max. It's highly possible that he reached the Third Stage after all the time stuck at the Second Stage. He showed off his impressive upper body. Strong refined muscles could be seen making him look domineering, and at least ten times more arrogant than the dead arrogant brat that Jonas killed. Apo had short dark hair and a short beard.

Max greeted them laughing and introduced them all to each other. The first impression of Claudia and Apo was wrong. They were kind people. They spent time together and learned about each other, becoming friends. Claudia and Max were 17 years old, Apo 18. They stayed 3 days with them, hunting with more people was funny and a nice change. They learned that Claudia absorbed the Lunar Energy at night. The more moons there were the better for her. Which is why there was always a cold air was around her.

Apo really reached the Thirds Stage and was even stronger than Max. His powers worked like the Shinra Tensei from Pain. Truly unique.

Jonas told them about his theory that they were in a Cultivation World, at first they didn't believe it but after thinking about it they accepted it.

Claudia and Apo normally stayed alone but they allied with Max because Apo found out something interesting.

He saw many groups of native people traveling in the same direction. He became curious and followed them without them noticing him. He pointed at an area on the map and told them that on the foot of that Mountain was a Portal. After watching the people gathering there he noticed that they were all youths. They camped in front of the Portal, but didn't enter, a barrier prevented them from going inside. But with more time passing, more youths arrived. So Apo thought that the barrier should open soon.

Jonas eyes glowed in exciment and he told them about the possibility that that the Portal would lead to great fortune. Jonas gave them the three remaining clothes from the group they killed and they decided to try to enter the Portal when it opened.

The six of them traveled two days until they reached the mountain. They found a spot from where they could watch the gathering without being seen. It was the first time for them all to see such a great numbers of people since coming to this world. Looking at them Jonas was even more sure that they landed on a Cultivation World. There were many people but they were split into 5 forces. The 5 forces had almost the same clothes on but with different colors. Among the 5 forces was one they all recognised. They wore all the same things as the six of them. The poor group they killed before belonged to that force.

They waited for another 3 days. On the third day the earth started shaking and the golden barrier that blocked the Portal turned transparent.

They watched the youths enter the Portal with greedy and excited expressions on their faces. The were so many people that it took them all 4 hours to enter.

After they all entered through the Portal the six of them waited for another 30 minutes before taking action. They rushed down to the Portal and entered it without hesitation. They had enough time to plan about what could happen. They even made plans if they were separated from each other.

What they didn't know was, that high above in the sky were 5 Elders floating. Each one of them represented one of the forces. An Elder with long white hair, beard and eyebrows frowned upon seeing the six of them arrive late. His red robe had the same ominous black flood dragon embellished on the back. The same the six of them had on their mantles. He didn't do anything and just watched down with a frown.
