20 Death Ground

The trio left the city in their new disguise and traveled another day to reach their destination.

Max told them about a cave on the foot of the mountains and they started to search for it.

What they found didn't look good. The cave was scorched and many signs of a great fight could be seen all over the place.

Koray gritted his teeth , "Sh*t, we came too late it seems they found them."

"Yes and look around, I only see scorch marks everywhere, Apo and Claudia travel solo..."

"So only Max was found...."

"Probably."

"WHO IS THERE?!"

The trio turned around and saw a group of cultivators arrive behind of them. Four Divine Sense locked into them.

They were people from the Evil Dragon Sect.

Koray wanted to make a move but Jonas holded him back, he walked forwards, "Hello friends from the Evil Dragon Sect we are bounty hunters and are searching for our prey, do you guys know what happened here?"

Hearing Jonas words the four man relaxed and sneered.

"The outsider managed to escape, we just came to check if he returned. You are seeking your deaths if you try to capture him."

"Maybe but, the bounty on their heads is not something we can ignore."

"True the bounty is really high, yesterday appeared two outsiders in the territory of the Thunder Temple and are aiming to enter the Death Ground."

"Two outsiders? How do they look like?"

"We don't know but, we are heading there now, you wanna to join us?"

The trio looked at each other and had the same thoughts, the two outsiders should be Apo and Claudia.

"Yes we would like to join you."

"Good."

The man with long black hair and a greatsword on his back waved his hand and a flying ship appeared in front of them.

Seeing this a greedy glint flashed through DIno's and Jonas eyes. It didn't escape the man's sense and sneered in disdain, he clearly didn't put them into his eyes.

They all boarded the ship and departed. The ship was flying through the sky at a fast pace.

"How practical..."

"Of course our Evil Dragon Sect is very wealthy, so who are you guys?"

Jonas observed them and answered, "Ah yes people call me Gandalf."

Dino and Koray looked at Jonas serious expression and almost laughed out loud.

"Gandalf? Strange name..."

Koray smiled and said, "Everyone calls me Terminator."

"And I'm called Godzilla."

The trio used every single bit of their mental strength they had to not laugh out loud.

"Nice to meet you I'm Rollefius Long."

"I'm Abrohm Long."

"Jeralio Long."

"Inveri Long good to have you with us, every possible help is welcomed."

Koray couldn't help and ask, "You guys have all the same last name?"

"You don't know? Every disciple from the Evil Dragon Sect takes the last name Long when they join the Sect."

"Oh I didn't know..."

Rollefius looked at Dino, "You have an interesting pair of eyes."

"I hear that a lot, I was born with them."

Dino was lying without a problem.

"You know which bloodline they are from?"

"I have no clue."

"Alright."

The group talked about various things while they traveled.

After 4 hours flight they arrived in the most center part of the Atrum Continent.

"This...what is that thing?" Dino asked when he saw a gigantic black sphere that was so big that it pierced the clouds. Jonas and Koray turned to the direction Dino was pointing and their pupils became wide.

"That my friends....is the Death Ground." Answered Inveri, beads of sweat started to form on his forehead. The other three had the same reaction and a tension penetrated the air around them.

The ship started to descend slowly. It took them 15 minutes to land on the ground. There were hundreds of cultivators gathering. They were mostly from the five Major Powers. The group joined the gathering and started to travel on feet until they stood only hundreds of meters away from a barrier that surrounded the gigantic black sphere.

Behind the barrier stood two persons. The trio didn't recognize them. One of them was a tall black youth with a purple robe and the other one had white skin and was even taller. He had dark blond hair and glasses. He had white-purple robes on. Both of them stood there watching the sphere, not bothered by the great force that had gathered on the outside of the barrier.

Rollefius gritted his teeth with killing intent leaking out, "These are the two outsiders!"

Everyone here showed the same reaction. In the air were over 20 figure floating, they radiated the strongest amount of killing intent.

Koray asked, "Why does no one attack them?"

"We can't, the barrier is something that not even a Godking can break. We need to wait until they come out and hope that they didn't get too strong..."

Dinos eyes lit up, "Only outsiders can enter that barrier right?"

"Yes, everytime an Outsider enters it they emerged stronger, no one beside them knows what is inside the Death Ground."

The trio looked at each other and nodded, they started walking to the barrier.

The cultivators looked at them confused.

"What are those idiots doing?"

"Did no one warn them about what happens if they touch the barrier?"

The elders in the sky shot their gazes at the trio and many Divine Senses locked into them. The trio knew that they made them suspicious and dashed at top speed to the barrier.

"Not good!" Saind an elder from the Evil Dragon Sect. It was the same elder from the Mystical Gate that attacked them back then.

"Stop them!"

"They are Outsiders!!!"

It was too late, the trio crossed the barrier before anyone could react.

The two other guys turned surprised around, facing the trio.

"Huh?"

"You guys are?"

Both of them were stunned when they saw the trio in front of them.

"Sup guys, I'm Jonas haha."

"Hey there I'm Koray."

"Dino..."

The black one smiled, "Ah fellow people from Earth. Hi I'm Gucci and this bro here is Marc."

Marc corrected his glasses and nodded to them silently.

Dino watched them with his Eternal Eyes and saw that they reached the Fourth Stage too. The Astral Aura inside their bodies was many times purer and they had a greater amount too.

"You guys reached the Fourth Stage?"

"Of course man, one can't enter the Death Ground without reaching the Fourth Stage."

"Ahhhh!"

Dino went straight to the point, "So what is this Death Ground about?"

The duo were stunned, "You guys don't know?" Asked Gucci.

"Nope, we only came here because we thought were friends of ours."

"Alright let me explain, what we know is that this Death Ground is the spot in which the first of us died. That guy was the first from the original 3 that arrived here. He was so strong that he slayed countless of Godkings and Godbeast. It was here that they managed to kill him. His powers are still active as you can see."

Gucci pointed at the gigantic black sphere behind him.

"If we stay here and absorb this Energy we will grow many times stronger in a short time."

"We met the Earth Fairy Lily, she told us about the Death Ground. She told us that it was him that is responsible that more humans from Earth arrived here."

Marc spoke for the first time.
