Chapter 1Chapter 1: Beginning

This story begins in the urban city of Madrid, the capital of Spain.

Our protagonist isn't a demigod, nor the descendant of some powerful demon, nor a wizard. Octavius Leon was just your average fifteen years old lazy, unmotivated teen. His greatest accomplishment in life? The chess tournament he won when he was 8 years old. It was a great accomplishment for such a lazy kid, his opponents were all between 10 and 12 years old!

But that victory didn't mean anything for the boy, he only participated because his chess-obsessed grandpa made him. His victory wasn't due to some special talent but because his grandfather made him play chess with him every day for years. Pre-teen kids are nothing compared to a man who won the World Chess Championship twice!

Unfortunately, Oscar Leon died and Otto hasn't played chess ever since. Who knows maybe if he continued playing he could have developed some amazing strategic abilities. But he hasn't played chess ever since.

Otto lives a normal life, he goes to school, plays video games, hangs out with his friends,...

This normal life changed when a friend of his sent him a link: a Pokemon CYOA.

What is a CYOA? Well, CYOAs are gamebooks that allow the reader to choose how the story developed. Based on that some people created a new version of it: creating your own character. You get a number of points and you can choose different powers or skills, each one costing a certain amount of points. A great number of authors created a huge variety of CYOAs.

"Pokemon CYOA? What is that?" Wonder Otto as he clicked on the link.

"Create your own Pokemon Trainer! You can choose the timeline, your skills, perks, and much more!" Otto read the description of the CYOA. Not having anything else to do he completed the CYOA. And he loved every moment of it!

"Who would have known that completing this sort of quiz would be this much fun! Let's find more!" Otto sent a Whatsapp to his friend thanking him and asking for more CYOAs.

And so Octavius Leon developed a new obsession: CYOAs. He would spend hours each day finding new CYOAs but as with every other hobby he had Otto got tired of it after a week or so. Months later a bored Otto was checking his email when he saw a link.

"Create your own ideal fantasy protagonist! A CYOA? I haven't done one of these in ages. Since I am dying out of boredom let's give it a try! It's not like anything is gonna happen anyway." Otto clicked on the link and started creating his original character.

"Let's see I have 5000 Points to spend? Weird, normally authors only give a thousand. Maybe it is one of those OP CYOA. Let's get started! The first choice is appearance. My current self is a free option, nothing new there. Changing my appearance but not my race cost 100 points. Changing my race is rather expensive: Elf 500 Points, Demigod 2000 points, Orc 800 points, Beast kin 1000 points, Dragon 1500 points, Elder Dragon 4000 points,... So many options! But I will choose the free option, I am rather good-looking anyways" Otto has blonde slightly curly hair, blue eyes, and is quite tall for his age: 176 centimeters! He looks a lot like the typical good-looking American quarterback. He inherited his looks from his mother, Alice.

"The second choice is magic? Usually, the second choice is perks. Let's see. To have the ability to use magic you need to pay 1000 points? That is expensive but fine, mages are awesome. Now I have to pay to choose the amount of magic I start with? There are seven options: Class S costs 20 000 points?! Nope. Class A cost 15 000. Class B cost 10 000. Class C cost 5000 points. Class D cost 2000 points. Class E cost 1000 points. Class F cost 500 points. I can't afford S, A, B, or C. So class C it is. Man being a mage is expensive as hell." Otto took a small break to go grab something to drink. With his coke in hand continued the CYOA.

"Now to choose the types of magic my character will know. I always preferred elemental magic. I want Fire, Wind/Air, and Lightning magic!" Very excited Otto looked for his favorite magic.

"What the hell?!" Otto jumped out of his chair. "Novice Fire Magic 1000 points?! Who made this CYOA?!" Otto threw his coke to the trash can and took a deep breath to calm himself.

"Damn. Whoever made this CYOA sucks!" Otto decided to take Novice Fire Magic and Novice Lighting Magic. After spending all his points Otto clicked on the `Complete` option and closed his computer.

"What a waste of time. That CYOA was made by an idiot!" Otto ranted as he got up from his chair. Once on his feet, Otto started to feel a bit weird. The room started to spin around him.

"What? Why do I feel so dizzy?" Otto tried to get to his bed to lay down. But as he was trying to walk he suddenly felt worse. Everything went dark.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.
