Little Dragon Continent, the imperial city of the Flowing Wind Empire

Within this bustling city, the streets are packed with people and stores of many types and kinds and sell fabrics and clothing that looked divine to food and wine so fragrant that it would make your mind fly to heaven. But in the corner of one of these bustling streets was a cafe.

Inside the cafe was a brownish black cat that looked like a york chocolate cat but not the exact same. It had a light milk chocolate color for its long and sharp claws that shined with ferocity. But this arrogant seeming cat was unassumingly enjoying a snow white colored milk in a silver bowl.

Inside this cafe was not only the cat but also a young man with a slim figure with fair skin and hazel-like eyes sitting on a wooden chair. He gave off an air of calmness and serenity around him. Next to him was a cup of hot coffee that steam flowed off it.

This young man, Cosmo, proceeded to pick up the cup of coffee and took a few sips ignoring the heat and savoring the bitter but light sweet taste.

Cosmo a twenty-one-year-old barista who was working for X company when he was suddenly transported to this cafe in another world a week ago with the [Cafe System].

Since then, he has been taking care of Smokey the cat by feeding its daily serving of milk and learning more about this world.

Cosmo looked at his menu board which only hosted a measly two options currently. A Latte and Americano.

Not so surprisingly though was that he received no customers this entire week in no part due to the extremely high prices.

A Latte and Americano is 250 gold coins. These prices seemed outrageous for what seemed like a small establishment.

*Ding*

"The Host has started his journey to becoming the Cafe God"

"Mission: Big things always start small"

"Sell 5 Coffees in one week, if completed you shall obtain a system reward"

"Sigh, time to get to work"

Cosmo proceeded to get up and walk into the counter and inspect his equipment. Three Expresso machines, a roaster, a grinder, a coffee froth maker, a sink, and an oven. Inside a cabinet behind him overhead were plates and cups, and just beside it was another cabinet filled with ingredients needed to make the coffee.

Cosmo grabbed a cup of ground coffee beans, pulled the lever up, and put the grinds into the basket. After closing the lever, he turned on the machine and left it to make the coffee.

"System, what are these coffee beans?" asked Cosmo.

Notes: Laroshis tree is a rare treasure in the mortal world, and takes 250 years just to grow ripe beans.

"Interesting, a tree that takes that long just to make beans, and the process to make the beans is an extremely long time. And it's from a Rank 5 Peak stage tree."

Cosmo turned his head towards the door as he hears the chime on his door ring

~ 5 Minutes before

A short chubby man with black hair and a celadon-colored robe looked at the name of the store, "Immortals Cafe? The confidence of this owner to name his store after Immortals? Hoho, interesting. I haven't seen anyone like this in a long time."

"Let me see if this owner is all bark and no bite?"

The man pushed the door open and entered to see the york cat enjoying its milk, the man then looked at the milk the cat was enjoying so much.

But not one second later did the man feel an indescribable pressure pushing down against it, he looked up slightly to see the cat glaring at it.

After a few seconds did he feel the pressure disappear

"What a mighty beast!? I a rank 4 cannot tell what this beasts rank is?! How formidable, it seems the owner was able to tame this feline, their strength must not be underestimated then. It seems I must be cautious here.

He continued on and walked towards the counter looking at Cosmo. Who are you, my friend? And what do you sell here?

Cosmo lazily replied, "Before asking my name, should you not introduce yourself first?"

"Ah yes, my name is Jushein, I am the head of the Shein Chamber of Commerce. You?" said Jushein

In an indifferent voice, Cosmo replied "Cosmo is my name, you can address me however you want, I am also the owner of this cafe and I sell coffee here". "Hmm, a head of a chamber of commerce, seems like we'll gain a very valuable customer," he thought inwardly.

Jushein replied in a very confused manner "Ahhh koufee? and a kafeu? What are these?"

"Its kaa-fee and ka-fay, you can learn more about this if you order something from my menu" Cosmo pointed at his menu with the system's extreme prices

Jusheins eyes widened at the prices, "are you sure these are the right prices?" Even the best wine in the empire is just nearly the same price and some unknown drink is more expensive than that!?

"Yes, these are the prices, will you be ordering or not?" said Cosmo "Tsk tsk, aren't you supposed to be a head of a chamber of commerce? You should have some money.

"Yes yes I will order, I think I want a Latte?" said Jushein. "Alright coming right up!"
