4 Moving on
"Since you teleported us here, what's gonna happen to the tumbler?" Ryan asked. "It's just gonna drive around the city and lure the Darkseekers away from us. When morning comes the Darkseekers will need to find shelter and when there gone, the tumbler will return here on its own." Tyler responded.
"So how do you think we should help the doctor with the cure? I have all of Zhang Xuan's physician knowledge but my cultivation isn't high enough to solve this problem, and even if it was, I would need to go to each Darkseeker one by one to cure them." Ryan asked. Tyler then started to speak "I think I have something that can help us. You see, the doctor has already developed a cure but the problem is that it only works when the Darkseekers are at a cold temperature, it's too slow and it needs to be injected. So we simply need to improve it and make it airborne."
"And how are we going to do that? We don't know anything about modern medicine and my knowledge of ancient Chinese medicine doesn't really mesh well together with modern medicine." Ryan replied. "It's very simple actually, we just need to study," Tyler said with a smile. "I don't think a few hours of studying will really help us that much," Ryan said, confused as to how this would work.
"That my friend is where you're wrong, as long as we have the right tools, we can achieve anything. Let me ask you a question, have you ever watched the movie or the tv show called Limitless?" Tyler asked. Ryan shook his head so Tyler explained what he wanted from it.
"Do you know the myth about how humans only use 10% of our brains? Well NZT is a drug that will let us use 100%. It's a pill that increases intelligence to superhuman levels and results in perfect recall for 12 hours. Unfortunately, there are some harsh side effects, like memory loss or extreme paranoia, but luckily there is a way to prevent this."
"So as long as we take this pill we will be able to improve the cure?" Ryan asked "Yep" Tyler responded while holding out his hands. In one hand 2 NZT-48 pills appeared and in the other, 2 enzyme shots. These shots would prevent the unwanted side effects of NZT-48. The two of them each took the shot and a pill then got to work, for the next 12 hours they were going to be the smartest people on the planet and they were going to use this time well. (Image here)

'*Groan* What happened?' Robert asked himself as he groggily sat up. He looked around and noticed he was in an unfamiliar room. Quickly standing up, he felt a sharp pain in his leg causing him to collapse. "Ughh" He grunted as his dog ran up to him and started to lick his face. "I'm okay, I'm okay Sam" He pulled himself back onto the bed and when he did, he noticed a cane to the side with a note taped to it.
{Don't put too much pressure on your leg.} The note said. Robert picked up the cane and slowly made his way out of his room along with Sam following behind him. As soon as he walked out of his room, he smelled something heavenly. Following his nose, he made his way to the kitchen where he found the people who that helped him the day before.
"Welcome back to the land of the living doc, hungry?" Tyler asked as he put a plate of bacon and eggs on the table. Robert just stared at him saying nothing. "You should eat. There are special nutrients in this food that'll help you heal faster." Ryan said while eating and still studying on his phone. Earlier he and Tyler had figured out how to make the cure work within minutes but they were still working on making it airborne. Ryan had always liked studying so he took another pill so he could continue working on the airborne cure.
"Who are you?" Robert asked. Seeing that Ryan was too busy to answer, Tyler did instead. "I'm Tyler, that's Ryan and we came to New York after hearing your broadcasts. Yesterday we went to South Street Seaport at noon and waited there all day but nobody showed up. When we were making our way back here, that's when we saw you hanging upside-down at grand central, I'm sure you remember the rest."
"How did I get knocked out?" Robert asked. "The morphine wore off and you fell unconscious from the pain. After that, we brought by back here where Ryan was able to give you proper first-aid," Tyler replied. "I may be young but I am a trained physician," Ryan interjected.
"Thank you for helping me." "Of course, we wouldn't want the man with the cure to die, oh and speaking of the cure, yours works ...kinda. After breakfast we'll show you," Tyler said then stopped talking. Robert was surprised the cure he developed was working and wanted to ask more questions, but every time he did, either Tyler or Ryan would just tell him to wait, all he could do was shake his head and eat, which did make the pain in his leg fade slightly.

After breakfast, the three men and one dog went to the lab and when they arrived, Robert was shocked to see it looked just like the one at his home. Of course, the tech inside was a bit more advanced than what the doctor originally had considering 'I Am Legend' takes place in 2012 while Tyler and Ryan were from 2026. (A/N. I'm making them from the future just in case there are shows/movies that haven't come out as of writing, that I feel like adding later.)
"When I saw your lab last night, I figured you could use a bit of an upgrade, so I asked Tyler to help recreate your lab with better equipment," Ryan said while turning on the main computer. How did you do all this in one night?" Robert asked even though he had an idea. "We're enhanced. I can manipulate matter while Ryan has an enhanced brain giving him most forms of kinetic powers like telekinesis and pyrokinesis." Tyler noted.
"So.. the weapons the flaming sword, the tank..." Robert trailed off. "All the weapons we use were made by me. The flame part was all him though," Tyler stated as he pointed at Ryan. "I-I need a minute," Robert stuttered as he sat down. "Take your time, we understand you haven't seen other humans in a long time let alone two enhanced ones," Ryan spoke while giving Robert a glass of water.
After Robert had calmed down the three of them spoke more about the cure... Well, Robert and Ryan talked about it, Tyler wasn't on NZT right now so most of the stuff they were talking about went right over his head.

A few hours later Tyler was bored of sitting and listening to Robert and Ryan talk about the cure. He was never really an academic so he came up with an idea to escape this hell of his own making. "Hey Robert, is your daily broadcast automated or do you do it manually every day?" He asked. "It's automated, why?" "Well since your not really in a condition to patrol today, I thought I would go in your stead," Tyler replied with enthusiasm while getting up. "You two have fun, I'll show myself out," He said while quickly leaving. Ryan and Robert just shrugged their shoulders and continued their work.
Tyler left the penthouse through the door into the dark building on the other side. For the others to use the normal entrance, he would need to clear the building of Darkseekers. Tyler took out one of his pistols and activated his Darksaber, he was planning to clear this place using gun-fu and melee combat.
He slowly made his way through the structure while completely slaughtering the Darkseekers inside. When he made it to the bottom, he turned around to admire his work and what he saw was a complete massacre. Broken walls and pillars, piles of Darkseeker ash, Darkseeker corpses all around, it was beautiful chaos.
"...I think I might be developing a bad case of bloodlust... Oh well." Tyler then proceeded to use the decomposition spell on the rest of the bodies that were still there and after that, he remodelled the interior of the building giving it an elevator directly to the penthouse.
Once he was done he went outside where he found the tumbler waiting for him, he hopped in and headed to South Street Seaport. Today was the day that the doctor was supposed to be saved by more survivors but thanks to Tyler and Ryan's interference, that event won't happen.
When Tyler reached the port he noticed he still had a few hours left before the new survivors arrived so he started playing the new spiderman game while he waited. At noon he saw a jeep pull up and a woman step out while pointing her gun at the tumbler.
"Are you Robert Neville?" She asked as she walked closer, still with her gun trained on the tumbler. Tyler picked up the handheld PA and spoke into it; "Miss, there is no need for that, please put the gun down it won't even leave a scratch on my vehicle. Besides, my guns are bigger than yours." After saying that last part, all of the weapons on the tumbler aimed at the woman. Seeing the multitude of guns trained on her, the woman quickly dropped her pistol and put her hands up.
With the woman's pistol on the ground, Tyler retracted the tumbler's weapons, opened the canopy and hopped out. "Relax, you can put your hands down I'm not gonna hurt you. I guess you're here because you heard the broadcast?" He asked. "I am. My name is Anna, are you Dr. Neville?" She questioned. "Nope, my name is Tyler. The doctor injured himself yesterday so I'm here in his place."
"How do I know you're not lying to me?" She asked in suspicion. "You don't, but I don't care, I'm bored of this place so I'm going home. If you want to live then you can follow me in your car, if you don't, then good luck surviving the night in New York alone." Tyler understood why she would be mistrusting of a random man calming to be sent by the doctor, but to him, it didn't matter, soon he and Ryan would be gone from this world so he didn't really care about the life of this one woman he would never see again.
Tyler got into the tumbler and started driving back to the penthouse and after a few minutes of driving, he noticed Anna's jeep following behind him. 'Good choice' He thought to himself as he continued home.

Tyler arrived at the penthouse while the jeep that Anna was driving pulled up and parked behind him. They both got out of their vehicle and walked over to the elevator to the penthouse. While stepping inside the lift, Tyler looked over to Anna's car and used his enhanced senses to see where Ethan, the child from the movie was but to his surprise, nobody was there. When Tyler first met Anna at the port, he assumed Anna had kept Ethan hidden in case of danger but now it seemed like that wasn't the case.
As Tyler and Anna walked into the penthouse they heard a voice from the lab yell "We did it!" Rushing to the lab, the two of them found Ryan and Robert standing over a vile of clear liquid. "You made it airborne?!" Tyler asked excitedly. He was getting really tired of this world since there wasn't really anything to do, but now that the airborne cure was finished, they could leave very soon.
"Yes, we finished the airborne cure, but we still have a problem. One vial is only enough for one continent, we can more but we would still need to get to other continents so we can release the cure." Robert said. "Don't worry about that, me and Tyler will go out and release the cure, you stay here and manufacture as much as you can. We can never be too careful." Ryan stated.
"WAIT, YOU MADE A CURE!?" Anna yelled. "Who is this?" Robert asked, finally noticing her after she had blown out their eardrums. "This is Anna a survivor I met at the South Street Sea Port. Kinda funny right? The first day you can't make it there, somebody actually shows up." Tyler replied with a light chuckle. Robert didn't respond, he just shook his head and got back to making more of the cure.

A couple of hours later Tyler and Ryan were geared up and ready to leave. They had 14 vials of the cure, 7 for each of them. Ryan was tasked with spreading the cure on land while Tyler would spread it to the sea. Unlike in the original, Ryan had modified the cure to work not only on humans but animals, marine life and plant life as well. They didn't know if any other kinds of wildlife were affected by the Krippen virus so they were doing this just in case.
"Well Robert, if we don't come back then this is goodbye," "Seeya doc." Ryan and Tyler spoke respectively. "Thank you so much for what you've done us and what you are going to do," Robert said emotionally. He was honesty very glad to have met these two people yesterday, he felt that if he didn't meet them something bad would have happened. "Good luck, and be safe" was all Anna said, she didn't really know them so all she could do was with them the best.
After saying their goodbyes, Tyler and Ryan went to the roof of the penthouse where 2 quinjets were waiting for them. "You remember the plan right?" Tyler asked. "Spread the cure then meet at lake Ontario in Toronto" Ryan answered. "Good, then let's get this done and get the fuck outta here," Tyler replied as he walked into his jet. They both took off with Ryan going west and Tyler going east. Since the quinjets were so fast, only taking about 45 minutes to get halfway around the world, it only took them 3 hours to finish fully spreading the cure.
After they were done, they both met at the waterfront in Toronto to talk about what to do next. "...So what now?" Tyler asked. "...I guess we need to help humanity rebuild now that the Darkseekers are gone," Ryan responded. "*Sigh* That's gonna be a pain in the ass," Tyler said with a large sigh, but as they were talking they got a notification on their phones.
*Ring* They opened the notification and then they saw 'mission passed' written in white along with the music from GTA San Andreas that started playing. Scrolling down a bit they saw a message from the goddess Selena.

As a reward, you may choose the next 2 worlds you go to (One world each) or stay here for a little while and have some fun, but remember, you can only stay there for 5 years before you will be forcibly ejected so resume your mission. "...Uhhh, I guess we're done here..." Tyler said. "...I guess so..." Ryan responded. "So... Do you want to choose the next world?" Tyler inquired. After hearing his friend's question, Ryan just smiled then texted Selena which world he wanted to go to without telling Tyler.
"What's with that creepy smile?" Tyler asked as a white light poured down on them. "Don't worry you'll love where we're going," Ryan said as his smile got wider and the light got brighter. "I feel like your lying to me," He responded sarcastically. "You'll love it." was all Ryan said. "Ryan where are we going?" Tyler asked but got no response. "Ryan?...RYAN!!" And with that last shout from Tyler, the bright light was gone along with both of them.

Nice long rushed chapter for the end of this arc. I was getting really bored of writing about this world since nothing much happens. I don't even really know why I started here, to be honest... anyway, the next world is also gonna be about Ryan getting his waifu.
I'll give you a hint about who she is. She has long light blue hair and a sword.
